LD21 — Escape

Fragmentation by Riley Adams 2011-08-22T22:00:00

I thought this was a lot of fun, maybe would have been better without jump and duck, to make the most of the gravity shifting.

Earth Escape by Vladp995 2011-08-22T22:59:00

got out with 3:22 left, quite a fun game.

Not Without my Zombie by BlackDogg 2011-08-22T21:39:00

I found it more fun before I worked out how to shoot, getting over the zombies with wall jumps.

Apocalypse Escape by Lucas Tiridath 2011-08-22T23:10:00

Really nice idea, it would be helpful to know when blocks are stuck together and when they're just next to each other.

LD24 — Evolution

Ikaruga Devolved by ChronoDK 2012-08-27T18:52:00

The first time I played I didn't read the description and only used the arrow keys (I thought you were just forced into 3 lanes). I think I might have even got a better score like that than when I was trying to change colour and heal myself. Some music would have been nice, but other than that I really enjoyed it.

Battle Evolved by TobiasNL 2012-08-27T12:39:00

Loved it but was terrible at it (got up to the flying one after many attempts), graphics, sound and gameplay were all great. Controls seemed a bit off, I think z, x and c would have made more sense to me.

Fend off waves of zombies with your evolving gun DELUXE by Ezzam 2012-08-27T12:26:00

The bullet effect is nice, rest of the graphics are a bit too minimal for me. Gameplay is ok, it would have been nice to be able to force the next wave. Also there seemed very little point in being able to aim up and down at all, maybe some platforms to stand on would be an improvement?

Small Worm by Huchickut 2012-08-27T12:55:00

A nice twist on the standard snake game, fitted quite well with the theme and I liked having a choice of how to evolve my worm.

Cubevo by NostraDamon 2012-08-27T14:29:00

I just spent far too long playing that, it took me a while to figure out, and even then a couple of attempts. The concept is good, and I really like the way the music comes in. My main criticism is that the enemy takes too many hits to kill, the first time I got up to him I gave up hitting him because it didn't seem to do anything.

Badass by Sos 2012-08-27T12:07:00

Graphics and audio were great, gameplay was a bit basic but still fun. Loved the humour, survival of the most badass!

GeometryEvo by dvdking 2012-08-27T11:37:00

Some good ideas, I liked the changing mechanic for each level and the humour was somewhat humorous. The music did get a bit repetitive.

Cellulae by mariscal 2012-08-27T12:11:00

I found that if you get big enough you're bigger than everything at the start of the next wave, it becomes a bit easy after that. The music worked well, fitted the mood of the game. It would have been nice to see some kind of a twist on the osmos mechanic.

Dr. Helix by SecondDimension 2012-08-27T19:10:00

I really liked it. Fun use of the theme and a good art style.

Move the Cheese by aschearer 2012-08-27T11:08:00

Quite an interesting mechanic, although I tended to rotate more or less randomly until there was an obvious way to win. Some levels were much harder than others.

terravolve by Vordux 2012-08-27T15:29:00

Interesting idea but for me it became a matter of selecting a continent and holding A and S simultaneously until they had max health and research, then moving onto the next and repeating.

Breaking Through The Deepest Nightmare Evolution by Alex Shestakov 2012-08-27T18:56:00

Really nice graphics. Although the flashing lightening isn't pleasant, it does create quite a good mechanic.

Natural Selection: breeding by God by ripatti 2012-08-27T16:23:00

Good use of the theme, although I ended up systematically trying every possible permutation to find the last few in a level (not particularly fun). Stopped near the end of the Jurassic level.

Class Warfare by gabeochoa 2012-08-27T16:35:00

I liked it, especially the ending.

The Horrifying and Viciously Aggresive Though Strangely Susceptible To Evolution Monsters From Some Mysterious Random Tomb by Ret44 2012-08-27T11:19:00

A bit buggy (some doors lead to the wrong place, after being hit my health was 101) but quite fun, although after buying many swords (another bug?) after the first dungeon I could kill everything in 1 shot.

The Adventure of Charles Starwin by surreal_whale 2012-08-27T11:06:00

I just uploaded the game to Kongregate and changed the link, so that should solve any server problems.

The Kittelutioning by Norgg 2012-08-27T21:52:00

I love this game! Definitely the best use of the theme I've seen so far. I'd like to know how the genetic trait changes are controlled when you click on a cat, but it would be too easy if it wasn't vague.

Evolution by faijdherbe 2012-08-27T11:29:00

I liked the audio. The concept is good but I'm pretty sure being able to drop any number more than 4 isn't helpful. Also if you drop them in the wrong order the area finding breaks a bit.

Evolution VS 1000 kittens by Citiral 2012-08-26T21:52:00

Quite fun, although I never worked out where the dinosaurs hitbox was. I approve of the use of 1000 kittens :)

The World of Worlds by 2A1S 2012-08-27T16:31:00

I'm awful at strategy games and this was no exception, but it was a unique approach to the genre which I liked.

Evo Fight by Skoggy 2012-08-27T15:49:00

I liked the graphics, shadows were a nice touch. I played the computer and couldn't resist spamming the energy ball a bit, but the evolution aspect was a good addition.

A New Kind of Man by Khayet 2012-08-27T16:41:00

I liked the idea, with a bit more content it could be really good.
