quite boring, but good game
Good game.
nice. it's like tamagotchi :)
I like it! You should definitely expand on this! Great game :)
I like this kind of graphic style
This reminds me too much of tamagotchis from my childhood. :p Great pixel art.
Its a nice little game to play (: with a cool idea for evolution.
@DesiQuantans: That was my inspiration, yeah :-)
Short, but realistic ending.
Pretty good, reminds me of Tamagochis (something like that). Would've been really nice if it had music and sound, but still good, short fun.
Cool, if a bit simple, game. The ending and graphics are great, and I like how the computer kinda has an image of the game itself.
@mamick: haha i hopes someone noticed
Very nice.
I like it!
Ending was unexpected but I liked it. As for the game, it seemed a bit mindless, just click buttons over and over. I enjoyed the graphics and UI though.
Actually enjoyed this game, no audio so was a bit of a shame, but other than that a fun to play game
Really good graphics, but I think maybe somewhat lacking in gameplay.
A bit short, but it's still okay.
It is one my core beliefs that every human carries within their soul a trumpet. Think of this as a symbol of someone's maximal capabilities, if you will.
The unique challenge every human face is playing that trumpet. But the sad and inescapable truth is that manipulating this trumpet and carrying a tune to high heavens takes effort, and willpower, and resolution; for it is a very heavy trumpet, and manipulating it takes a great deal of mental and physical strength.
In out daily lives, it is very often that we dismiss our charge to play this trumpet that has been given us. We mislead ourselves into believing that the struggle is not worth it, and the melody it sings is not one the world needs. Alas, there are so many people already playing their trumpets, right?
The inexorable truth is that the hymn your trumpet creates is yours and yours alone. You must, defiantly, play that fucking trumpet.
I'm glad Digitalduck comprehend this plight so very well. Despite the lack of trumpets in the piece, Blocky's circumstances are indistinguishable from the challenges we, as human beings, go through from dawn to dark. Should we play? Should we clean up? Or should we learn, and raise the amplitude of our trumpet's song to 11?
(Spoilers below)
The stroke of genius, of course, comes at the end of the game, as Blocky's ultimate prize is the same we have to meet as our human flesh is not an immortal one. But even as he leaves the stage of life, he knows his trumpet has become part of the world score - and that's the best we, too, can expect of this mortal coil.
Great concept, if somewhat repetitive.
It looks good, but it's a bit of a task to play. Do your actions influence the way blocky evolves? That would improve this a lot.
I didn`t notice earlier... but tamagochi really have a lot to do with evolution... nicely thought
Also, nice graphics.
It`s nice to see some stuff that isn`t interactive, only to add details to the room. =D
@JaJ, That was the original idea.. But well i only got 48 hours :P If the ratings are good enough, i will rebuild this game in a more fun one :-) Head is full of ideas allready :P
@Zeh you should be a writer :P haha Great story! :P
Nice game. Similar to the other game Yellow Dog. The graphics are really nice. I ended up cheating :)
Cute graphics and well executed. As I had a tamagotchi in the 90s I was sucked in by this for the short time it lasted and I had to see the end. Good job!
nice :D
Loved it!
Fun little simulator of sorts. Seemed like play time was the most demanded. Lol.
I really enjoyed this. It was simple, but effective. Nice art style too. I wish there were a bit more variety, but overall... great job.
I kinda liked the game. A tamagotchi like is a pretty good idea theme wise.
It needs a lot of balance though as it rather seems tedious getting him to become wiser and all.
But the graphics were neat, and it was kinda funny. Little bugs did not annoy too much.
Good work.
Nice ^-^
