I like the game concept and the graphics are nice too.

This game gives me bad flashbacks from high school

Interesting little game. Wonderful visuals. Would love to see it finished.

Like the concept, especially some of the Tinyville Confidential news ("had an embarrassing spat about Star Wars vs. Star Trek" :D). It's a pity that you didn't get around to add winning condition or negative points for enemies next to each other.

Ha didn't move a house but they seemed to get along pretty well. Nice game for such an ambitious idea, ran a little too fast for me to play on my comp.

I love these type of logic games, where you try to please everyone and figure out what arrangement works best. I do think the night phases were a tad longer. It took me a bit to recognize who was who and who they liked and didn't like. By the time I figured it out, it was already daytime and life went on. Still, the graphics are cute and it was totally my type of game.

this was cool, would love to see it extended.

Cool concept

I like the concept and art is nice, but I have serious problem judging who and what and where... My monitor is quite huge, I have no idea how to enlarge swf file which is not embedded and in the end, icons in the night are quite hard to distinguish.

Otherwise good, one of those entries which could be used as a basis for something bigger.

Cute game and interesting overall. Good job.

madball 2012-04-24 16:57

Wherever you live, there is always someone who hates everybody. A decent game, keep it up!

pierrec 2012-04-24 16:57

This is so cute!
Reminds me some other games but is pretty unique in his way...looks like a Facebook social game which would actually be fun.

It would be great with some music and an increasing difficulty (the happiness meter was useless, filled very quickly)

Interesting concept! Quite different to any other games I've seen. The graphics are great, although perhaps you should've focused more on the game before you worked on that?

This game is kinda lacking something though, maybe it's the win condition, or something besides that, but it needs something more to make it seem like a full game.

Great idea!

amodo 2012-05-02 15:52

A great entry. And very very very very very very very nice and cute graphics.

kungphoo 2012-05-03 16:30

A totally great concept. I really enjoyed playing it.
You might want to extend it, so you have some sort of influence on the people. Like: click on blue and say "give present to red". Or "talk bad about green to red"...

alex-k 2012-05-06 16:51

Nice game mechanic! It's a bit difficult to see the colors at night however...

leanderCorp 2012-05-06 17:32

a simpler version with 4 houses, slower moving characters, and a control over night day cycle would be nice

dray 2012-05-06 17:58

Interesting concept, lovely visual. The happiness meter is useless because it go full without doing anything, maybe some more variation in the relations.

kibertoad 2012-05-06 20:22

Good idea, although the game itself wasn't much fun - phases changing way too fast, relationships changing way too slow. Hope it gets developed into a proper game.

benw 2012-05-08 01:33

Neat game but it could really use some sound.

jimmypaulin 2012-05-11 19:20

Love the text items and characterisation, really added to the mood. The graphics are superb, really nice work! I would love some audio to help the mood, something upbeat I expect? I found it quite hard to follow the interactions during the day, all sort of happened at once, but the mouseover icons at night made it pretty clear what to do, all in all a great entry!

wyzfen 2012-05-11 21:32

I liked the idea, but it ran a bit fast - i couldnt read most of the news bulletins, and by the time i worked out whos house was whos, it was daytime again.

jonathang 2012-05-12 16:43

The graphics are very nice, wouldn't look out of place as a Facebook game! It is fun to arrange things, but it's a shame that there isn't really a goal to the game or any progression.

In one game I played, Ben got stuck outside his door at nightfall and the game wouldn't continue from there. Sometimes a lot of notifications come through at once and you can't read them all, maybe a list of recent notifications would be better? Also it's difficult to see the info bubbles at night, perhaps they shouldn't be darkened.

kevinworkman 2012-05-13 15:57

This is a fun concept, and a great fit for the theme- perhaps a bit of a commentary on vapid suburban life? But I had trouble matching who was where, especially with the darkened screen at night. I'd be curious to see how you expand on this after the competition.

brighterorange 2012-05-13 23:38

The graphics are super good! I think this is a really good concept for a game, though it went by too quickly for me to make real progress on arranging the houses during the night. So I mostly just watched. :)
