LD23 — Tiny World

Lighthouse by gritfish 2012-04-25T14:51:00

Really interesting game mechanic. Controls description on the game page still say A to jump. In concept I like the randomly generated levels but could be improved by randomly generating during the authoring process and curating the best ones for inclusion in the game. ~Shaun

Even Tiny Worlds... by homnom 2012-04-25T04:00:00

Chubeh Bunneh by derrickdool 2012-04-25T14:40:00

Kind of reminds me of Sushi Cat http://armorgames.com/play/5379/sushi-cat except of course, you know, with a bunneh :) ~Shaun

528 on first try, crashed the browser (Safari 5.2 (7536.6.1)) on second attempt. I've never played a defense game before but this seemed pretty intuitive. Only thing I couldn't figure out was the meaning of the number in the middle of the bottom right next to what looks like an enemy. It counted down occasionally but I couldn't tell why. Does it decrease after x enemies are killed?

Play is a process of discovery, if we explained it you'd be performing instead of playing :) —Shaun

Ant Command by Aaron San Filippo 2012-04-25T14:32:00

Cool idea, fun waned pretty quickly though. Some ideas, between rounds the world rotates to another ant hole (a different entrance to the same hive?). Each round has different obstacles for the ants to move around. Food could continue to fall during the round forcing you to choose between attacking and foraging. This would be fun on a touch screen. ~Shaun

Angle Isle by Rusty Moyher 2012-04-25T02:55:00

Nice, I too seem to have gotten the bug where the winds don't appear until the second time through a level. As a result I died at the end of each level and had to play through again for the winds to appear. Neat little aesthetic. Took a few levels to break my platformer jump instincts. ~Shaun

I could totally see playing this on the iPad or iPhone.

No love in Safari 5.2 (7536.6.1). Played in Chrome and beat on third try in 10 seconds with an early gold asteroid before a wave of regulars. ~Shaun

Simple yet challenging gameplay. Like Simon meets Memory. Love the music and sound effects. Just wish there was a way to skip to the puzzle as soon as you're ready (especially on earlier levels since you start over if you fail). ~Shaun
