Ooo a music game! Looks cool, wish I could play but I'm on Linux.

Ooo a music game! Looks cool, wish I could play but I'm on Linux.
Ho ho, this looks good. Wish I could play but I'm on Linux :(.
Thanks for Linux build!
Customization that has gameplay effects is the coolest.
I mean this game is the coolest. Even though in some parts you get hot, but it is still cool.
Like that advert! But terrifying in a much more surreal way.
I'm on Linux using the 64 bit version and getting a 3D playing card with a pineapple on it?
I AM CONFUSED.
Eek dude, looks good, I want to play, but trying to play on linux 64 bit.
Got this error when I ran 'java -jar AlienMiner.jar'

What is this maaaadness?
Stuck on waiting 15 seconds!!!
Then loaded again.
Then I fell for it.
Great title BTW.
Very cool attack patterns, with the hell worm bursting up.
I liked combo jumping on the hatchlings.
I too had artifacts on the left of the screen, but didn't stop me having fun.
Works on Linux (arch linux 54 bit)!
Amazing. You guys have really recreated the beauty of a PS1 survival horror.
So much atmosphere. I love the awkward camera angles. Next time you can add door opening animations (jk).
Plus voice acting.
A really good entry, highly polished and stylized.
Ps. THE LOCK IS BUSTJED.
Great sense of adventure in this game, felt like a seafarer.
Assume the bit after the toadfish was the end as it just went to a blue screen - I wanted more (a good thing right)!
I like the battle scenes, some lovely artwork there.
The experience was very scary, especially at the end.
The gameplay was good, I mean there was no objective other than go deeper into the next world bit, but I kind of like the not-everything-is-trying-to-kill-you vibe.
One thing I would say is the compass being outside the world distracts the player from the visual feast in the port hole, as I was looking at it more than the creatures. Perhaps some sort of audio compass, or in-world path could be more immersive.
Played it on Linux, so can confirm that worked! Although it seemed to freeze when I hit the screenshot button, but that may be because I'm on Arch Linux.
Love love love love.
Played it both on web and android.
Controls
- On web the mouse and keyboard controls work well
- But the touch controls are a lot more fun! Really well done, I like the simplicity of being able to only move left/right but using the waves to take advantage of height.
Graphics
- Really good use of colour and shape. The bubbles are a really simple and beautiful way to separate the water/air.
Gameplay
- Like a battleship level for geometry wars!
- The enemy patterns are really fun, I like the guys who bob up and down from the surface, makes you battle on both fields.
- I think the simplification of torpedos/missiles into one is a good thing.
Well done you!
Excellent use of colour and a nice art style in general.
Plus the sandstorm is a really nice touch that is done well.
That was fun :-)
I like the idea of being cute and murder of a human at the cellular level.
I like to imagine we were inside the colon, is that disgusting?
It's a long game!
I got the bed ending.
Great music. Made it seem quite surreal.
The player should definitely break up with Christy though, that girl is t.r.o.u.b.l.e.
Impressed that you made it work for mobiles too!
Quite hard and unforgiving when you do a reset as the mines come at you immediately, but those are minor tweaks for what is a solid foundation of a game.
Such cool graphics!
Don't know how you hooked the drawings up to the collision detection but it worked perfectly for me.
Cool particle effects as well.
Not sure if there was an objective in the game, but I found the sleeping dragon and dodged the licking tongues - which were both fun to do.
Fun fonts and tasteful graphics.
P.s. thanks for the game mechanics website, helped make my game (then I went and added some bugs on top).
Lol, would be good to have a message saying you're at the end of the game when you get to the gate. Thought I had been killed by a burning ring of hot magma.
I like the feather in the players hat, and the fact that (I think) you can only attack to the right, made the battle with the first bunch of bats fun!
Played on Linux.
On Linux so can't play. But I like the character art! :)
Cooooool weather FX.
Lightning spawn is a splendid idea.
Gargh! This game looks so good! Like Dune! Can't play it because I'm on linux though :(.
Thanks for the Linux build!
Was fun being a worm. I like the idea of exploring a huge desert.
I like the title story bit, along with the music.
Jazzy.
+ Pixels were lovely, reminded me of Another World (red head protagonist I guess, good for standing out in the world)
+ I'm usually sick of the "two worlds" thing in videogames, normally because the dark world is always dull and dreary, but I think the magical wilderness/modern city combo is nice as I wanted to explore both.
- Would like it to be clearer what to do and there could be more gameplay.
Anyway, well done :)
I like the teenager submarine's hair do. Centre partings are timeless.
Hey this looks cool and I want to play but I'm on Linux :(
Can confirm Linux works (tested on Arch Linux 64bit)!

+ The story text was a nice touch, adds a narrative and placing it in the "blackness" was a clever idea. Also the text on the enemies was neat, felt like a sort of HUD/visor thing which made sense for a person in a diving suit.
+ Screen shaking whilst shooting is probably my favourite part, created a real sense of feedback while shooting and made the battles intense.
+ Colour pallette is excellent, great use of dark greens/blues that add to the feeling of being isolated in the deep sea.
+ Final battle was a great idea, sealed the game off nicely and was thrilling.
+ Camera and controls. Worked well and I like the animation of the player facing the right way and aiming the weapon.
+ Rotten divers were a fun enemy to fight against, good AI work!

- Spikes hurt too much! Although this made battling in narrow parts more intense.
- Sound. Would have loved to have heard some of the horrors of deep.
Overall a great game, most "moody" I've played, the length was just right and I enjoyed it all the way through. Well done :)
The scariest time I've had being a ball.
Great use of lighting, helps add to the craziness when you are rotating manically as rocks fall down.
Cool soundtrack too, suits the mood.
Would it be possible for a linux version?
I digged the narrative and the poetry. What a lovely character too.
Great SMS scene.
You've got a "hear" instead of a "here" in there, but that is me just being a smelly spelly.
Didn't know what I was doing, but I had fun.
Darkly humorous.
Good difficulty level increase and fun gameplay.
Beat the democracy into those heathens.
I especially like the intro graphics and tunes and then diving at the unethical scientists.
Scary trying not to drown!
Managed to complete it, was cool exploring the bottom of the lake.
P.S. Arrow key for swimming up didn't work, but WASD did.
Pretty fun game mechanics. I like the tennis match, sort of like the Link/Ganon battles in Ocarina of time.
Would have been nice to make the breathing bubbles look more different from the ones that you need to pick up.
Well done!
Nice combo dive move. And he has some sass whilst walking.
Hey I have the same problems with floors with my game using phaser. I used the Arcade physics, frustrating, I think I read it is something to do with needing to select a smaller gravity, but anyway I thought the game was fun and funny.
Great animation with the wavy surfer dude arms.
Nice GFX: both art and special effects! I like the water.
Also the controls are really unique, an interestin sea faring experience.
This is a brilliant interpretation of the theme and a lovely game too.
I think this is how conversation systems should be in RPGs, where you get to become more and more irritated by the person you are talking to.
Really well done, a great little song in the background and some funny dialogue. Played it for 10 minutes.
Completed. Easter eggs, it all made sense ;) !
Woooo! That was F.U.N.
Great game mechanics. I completed it. Took me a while to figure out what I had to do on the third level. But was a lot of fun when I got it, made the whole thing more daredevilish. Great platform puzzler.
I scored 36!
I like the fact you eat bread. Fish love bread.
Someone needs to sort out whoever is polluting the ocean though.
That music made the it intense. Then I died. :(
Very dramatic mood.
What's a guppy going to do with all those beach balls. Or does it have a sinister motive to strip the beach goers of their beach balls and stop them having fun. Are the sharks the good guys here?
Maybe I read into it too much :)
Bit hard to play with my touch pad and arrow keys, maybe include wasd option as well for people using laptops.
But I did have fun! Was nice and frantic.
A nice game mechanic.
It's fun to jump out of the water, like echo the dolphin but without the environmental message.
Maybe a bigger world would have been more fun, it felt very cramped, but I liked that the number of sharks in the school were your lives.
This looks really cool! Can't play because I'm on linux though :(
Beautiful graphics: the fin shadows under the ice and the reflection of the skater are some of the highlights.
Fun too, nice skating controls. Got 15 pages back!
Pppppppepsi consultant!
Dddddouble theme!
Ttttwo levels in one?
Very cool. Would sponsor.
