Unfortunately the controls don't work for me so the character doesn't move

You had such a great game but the fact that there are so many leaps of faith and you can't see where you are jumping made me die so many times I can't give you guys a good fun score otherwise one of the best games I have seen

The fact that dead bodies stay in place is great. They help a lot.

Great game! The platforming is tight and responsive and the art looks amazing! Really interesting how the music changes as you descend. A minor gripe was that the enemies did not respawn when you died, which made the game a bit too easy. Nice work!

Nice and smooth gameplay and short enought to finish the whole story during testing. :) I would love to see the source code for this game. :)

really nice game. The idea with music is awesome!

Nice, the jump are strange but that give personality (with the music) GG

Excellent game here, I wish it was a bit longer. I love how the music tone shifts down with the depth, feels like a descent into madness. Good job !

It is really nice to have my dead bodies help with the platforming! Cool game

Platforming is really good, great balance with the movement. I liked the music getting slower and the visuals were really excellent. Only criticism is the length but you managed more content than me so can't really expect more from a jam game.

Awesome work, great use of the theme

I am unable to kill enemies for some reason

nice gimmick with the music and the dead bodies, i was expecting a little animation in the end credit scene but i guess that up to my imagination :D

Really cute little platformer! Love the little corn kernel main character and the backgrounds were (and I mean this as a compliment) disgusting :D. Like they really set the atmosphere and the grossness of being swallowed alive. Adding onto this, the music does the same, love it goes all wonky and distorted the further you go!

The movement was nearly spot on! I slipped off some platforms twice and I was wondering if this was due to the game still registering my directional input/didn't update soon enough. The collisions for certain things seemed a little iffy too but nothing too major! With some tweaking it would easily feel smoother.

I love the leaving a dead body when you die as a mechanic as it actually helped in a few spots! I wonder in a full fledged release you'd want to lean into that and intentionally design sections to make the character die over and over to create a heap of kernels to progress (or maybe that's a bit too grim haha!)

Overall well done on your first ludum game! Great job and look forward to any future stuff you do =]

Love the polish on this game, the squish every time the corn takes a step really sells the atmosphere. Very well thought out and good level design.

I had much fun playing.. really cool entry guys! I liked a lot the music's slowing down fx.. it sets a great mood. The idea with the dead bodies is really nice.. and helpful. I would prefer a little bit more friction and i would also enjoy very much more levels. Great job! I've enjoyed playing.

oh! Btw i saved captain corn (funny) and i feel proud of myself :)

Took me a little bit to figure out the mechanic with the dead bodies, but once I got it I was building bridges like a pro. I just wish it had more content!

Had some trouble on my end getting this to run but really like the concept
