Took awhile to figure out how to exactly play, but after that I enjoyed it.
Really interesting! At first, the choice of music felt a little disjointed, but as I started losing memories, it set the exact right tone.
Cool idea! The art was nice, and I liked the way you used the theme to deliver a story. I wish more time had been spent on spelling and grammar checking. Also, it seems like I may have hit a bug or there's something unclear in the gameplay because I had the impression that cards that weren't refreshed would disappear and be replaced with new memories but once the board filled up, no new cards ever came in. Maybe there was art missing? Otherwise, great work! You did a nice job of incorporating the theme in a unique way.
Pretty cool entry. At first, it was really confusing, but playing it more allowed for the mood to settle in. The art and mood are really well done. Great job.
Very beautifull graphics!
I didn't quite understand how to play. Quite hard to get the gist of how the mechanics work. Loved the soundtrack!
@matt-fabius thanks for the great review.
@blondhie @mr-madcat @lsummers @toad @kjetil @tay-elenberg it's nice to hear that you like our game.
Explaining the rules has always been a weakness of my prototypes. I'll work on that. :)
Good music and art. Cool game:)
I'm so sad that you opted out of the mood category because this game had the best mood so far in my opinion and I think this will remain so! Keep up the great work!
i saved nine memories - what a clever game - it only took me one play to figure out what was going on - well done
I couldn't get a proper grasp of the mechanics. I clicked on memories and repaired them, but then that forced me to go repair other memories I had already seen. That grew old fast, so I started ignoring damaged memories.
Unfortunately, it looks like the text was written by somebody with a fairly weak grasp of the English language. Because this game is story driven, this damaged the experience quite a bit, in my opinion. I would recommend that for the next LD you guys invest some time at the end of the project to proofread your content with a native English speaker.
Think this game will make it big on mobile!
Oooh interesting - I like how you're getting people to think about memory through game mechanics. Ambitious and innovative 🤩 I think what would really help (and it's still not clear for me) - Is to be clearer at what the **goal** is for the game - yes memories fade, but are you supposed to preserve the best or most important ones? Are you supposed to force negative memories to fade so that they don't drag the princess down and colour the way she sees the world? Are you supposed to hold onto as many memories as you can, because eventually they will all fade and you're trying to resist a decline into dementia?
All these possibilities are exciting and interesting, and perhaps even you're wanting us as players to choose which one we want to do! But it would help to clear that up and allow the player to engage with the game in a more focused way.
I admire your ambitious folks - keep up the good work!
edit: oops! triple post 😅the site just glitched out on me!

I love your take on the theme. The art is superb and the story with alternate endings is great fun. Here is a link to your spot on my stream: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/298453024?t=00h25m28s
