Wow very polished game, it felt very cohesive. I really like the art and levels, though I found the floaty character controls frustrating at times. The timer is a nice touch, my final time was 12:30.

shivvvy 2026-04-21 05:05

soooo cute, really love the play design in the game

ionax 2026-04-21 11:19

Very nice game. It had me thinking ob my first play through. My pub is a 2:08 but I will try to get a sub 2

Screenshot_20260421-122723.png

I found a bug where you get stuck in a wall when you reset the level.

Screenshot_20260421-121223.png Screenshot_20260421-120929.png

Also when I reset the level my signal on the robot doesn't change back and I got stuck in the last level.

Screenshot_20260421-120840.png

Still it really had me hooked. Great Entry! Good job!

weirdbitgames 2026-04-21 14:57

I love the design of RouterBot! There didn't seem to be a fullscreen button (you should be able to enable it by editing your game). Also there isn't a link to your LD entry on the itch.io page. The pastel shades are wonderful too! There is so much of your usual polish too! That 3rd puzzle took me a hot minute to work out. The puzzles are so clever!

I don't have a completed game sadly, just a proof of concept due to health issues.

strega 2026-04-21 16:02

@ionax thanks for pointing out that issue! Looks like it only happens when playing mobile browser. I’ll have it fixed later today! Glad you enjoyed the game, If you’re speedrunning please join our discord channel :)

strega 2026-04-21 16:06

@weirdbitgames thanks for playing our game! Sorry to hear about your health issues, hope you can get well soon. Thanks for pointing out the itch page issues. I’ve added the fullscreen button and linked back to the ludum page properly now.

weirdbitgames 2026-04-21 16:21

@strega any time, happy to help! <3

@ionax mobile reset button should be fixed now :)

jezzamon 2026-04-22 00:57

Nice! I like that you put speedrun sutff into the game. That last level was mean haha :)

Great art, well polished, and nice job!

penagwin 2026-04-22 02:35

Really well polished! I considered adding a speedrunning timer to ours but was worried people would feel rushed - yours doesn't feel rushed at all and now I wish we had it in ours as well.

Your graphics are very cute, and you've got a really creative puzzle/platformer!

It looks great and has some great puzzles, although I got a bit confused on I think the start of level 3 :D

sylvic 2026-04-22 03:00

The art is beautiful. Controls feel a bit clanky but nothing gamebreaking, it is still quite enjoyable. Nice job!

ismael-rodriguez 2026-04-22 03:19

Great artwork. Level design is good, but I like the puzzles more than the platforming; the physics didn't feel great for precision type platforming. I did push through to the ending, it was a great idea to hint that the final stage was the last push or I might have dropped out and missed the cute ending. The sound effects volume is a bit high and I ended up lowering the volume for the SFX to near zero and putting the music all the way up to try to balance it out. The music is good, reminds me of Kirby :smile_cat:

Great job overall.

2026-04-22 03:26

The idea of using signal range to control mechanisms is brilliant. The game is polished and challenging—truly a great piece of work.

pavel-goncharov 2026-04-22 03:35

It looks like a lot of work! I like the level design and difficulty exactly that I need - not too much, not too easy.

link270 2026-04-22 04:13

Really nice game! It felt polished with the little bots around giving their extra commentary. I loved that there were multiple types of signals and their range and speed was what made them special. Really nice job for a fun cleaver little game.

sam-gorman 2026-04-22 04:56

What a cute little puzzle-platformer! I love the hand-drawn look and the story and NPCs were a lot of fun. (That ending was so heart-warming!)

At first I wasn't sold on the depth of the puzzle mechanic, but once you added the different signal strengths the puzzles became really interesting. The final level playing with the timing of all of them was super neat! The platforming aspect could be tightened up a bit though - the player character is pretty slippery, which hurts when you're trying to do things fast and die in one hit.

(By the way - the SFX are very, very loud, and I had to turn them down nearly all the way to be able to play the music at a reasonable volume. I might change that post-jam!)

tesseus 2026-04-22 05:00

Gorgeous looking game! The spatial puzzle mechanic tied to the character is clever and innovative. It got me puzzled quite quickly. Well done!

2026-04-22 05:22

This is an absolutely fantastic game! It's incredibly cute and the game design is exquisite. The gameplay is also very fun; I love it!

syrup-plushie 2026-04-22 05:36

This is the cutest I've seen among all games hereeeeee!!!!!!!

jpat 2026-04-22 05:39

Really loved this! The signal range mechanic is such a clever puzzle hook, and it gets so much more interesting once the different signal strengths come into play. That final level pulling all the timings together felt awesome to figure out.

The art is gorgeous, the little bot NPCs gave it so much personality. Also the polish is unreal, you even let players rebind their controls?? In a jam game?! That's wild.

Fantastic entry, great job!

mrtroy 2026-04-22 05:49

So cute! I love this  I managed to get to the end 17 minutes.

cheldav 2026-04-22 06:14

I LOVE this game!! It was intuitive, it let me change the buttons to a setup my brain liked better (I ended up changing to the arrow keys for left, right, and jump), the graphics are adorable, and the sound effects were cute. The physics felt good and made sense to me and I enjoyed all the little visual nuances to each stage. I guess the only thing I would want to see is maybe something (not sure what specifically that would look like, but in the game Bluma on Steam a side character gives you obscure hints to help you figure out the basics of the puzzles, which has been really helpful for me) to help me understand what I was doing wrong that I couldn't make it to the next level. I really wanted to see more, I just got stumped- but that's on me, not the game design. WOW did I love this game, it was excellently made!!

dod108 2026-04-22 06:32

Very good game! My only nitpick is that the jump height vs platform height seems a little bit too tight (maybe it's not the height itself, that would require some investigation) so I missed platforms often in a frustrating way. Besides that, great job!

chybby 2026-04-22 07:00

This was great! I really liked the clever design of some of the levels (using the long-range signal as a timer is genius) and the colour scheme and art are beautiful.

The floaty controls were a little frustrating when trying to jump over obstacles while on a moving platform.

caelestial 2026-04-22 09:11

Very good puzzle game with a nice audio and cute artstyle :3

tetracold 2026-04-22 09:36

this is a great puzzle game, the artstyle is very cute and I really like how the signal mechanic is implemented, the puzzles explore it in satisfying and diverse ways. I am also impressed by the amount of options the game offers, that's not something I see very often for a jam game.

my only complaint is that I found the controls a little floaty and it made some of the jumps on the moving platforms a little difficult

indiepanda 2026-04-22 12:00

Cool puzzle and the robot is so cute ^-^

steinhks 2026-04-22 12:45

A cute and charming platformer puzzle

nadan 2026-04-22 13:58

Very nice game concept. I really like how the signal can go thru walls, resulting into unintentionally switching some receivers sometimes, meaning that the placement of the signal emit is important. Art is pretty, character has a lot of personality in the animation and I haven't seen any bugs. I wouldn't mind a little difficulty balancing, some levels felt much harder than other later levels. Great job!

tykki19 2026-04-22 16:11

Coherent experience and nicely designed puzzles! Well done!

decadedecaf 2026-04-22 22:56

Y'all are great level designers. The chase against the slow green signal on the last level, showing off all the mechanics you'd already introduced in one final stretch? Chef's kiss. The best games for speedrunners give non-speedrunners a taste of what it feels like to go fast, and this game delivers that perfectly.

Loved the music and sound design a lot! Although, I'd tweak the volume rolloff of the moving pillars/platforms, or consider adding some sort of filter/limiter in Unity or FMOD or whatever. Multiple pillars/platforms moving at once sounds quite a bit louder than the rest of the game.

I really enjoyed reading all the scrapped robots' dialog, even going out of my way to see what each one had to say. It's very cute but effective worldbuilding. And omg that ending was unexpectedly adorable.

what that purple signal do 😳

dylan-shumway 2026-04-23 00:29

This was a great time! The level design did a fantastic job of presenting concepts in digestible chunks, and the core mechanic was fun to use in so many little scenarios! The little robot quips were a great touch, and the ending level palette/scene shift was a great reward for beating the game. Thanks so much for sharing! :)

pkenney 2026-04-23 04:00

This was really charming and had a ton of cool ideas going on! A nice mix of puzzles and platforming, nice art and music, nice design.

There is SO MUCH good about this game, but I did experience some friction with the controls. I wish the jump had a variable power depending on how long I held the button down. And the air control's incredibly high acceleration made tiny adjustments quite difficult. The camera was also aggressive enough to create blind jumps or even take my character right off the screen:

off-the-screen.png

So I really liked the challenge of some of the platforming, like going on the moving platforms past the saw blades and having to jump. But I felt a bit too much of the challenge came from the controls.

Anyway, I wouldn't even mention that stuff if this wasn't such an all-around excellent game! Loved the progression of ideas through the puzzles, with the different colors, and like I said a nice mix of thinky puzzles and demanding platforming challenges that kept it feeling fresh throughout.

Nice work!

loki-drams 2026-04-23 07:25

Nice game! Very good to play, easy to pick up and fun. Have a hard time with the edges, which I slipped on, but other than that, very well, good job!

gil4 2026-04-23 08:23

A wonderful entry, had a lot of fun and loved that cute ending! Took me 8 minutes, would love more content if you ever decide to continue.

euler-moises 2026-04-23 11:21

I LOVE IT!!!

So far, one of my favorite games on this LD. It mixes platforming with puzzles, beautiful art, cool music, and a touch of rage!

I just didn't like the controls. Even though they work, I think putting the jump on W and the spacebar symbol is very counterintuitive. I died many times "jumping" with the spacebar. Maybe it's just in my head? Yes... probably. But I would change it.

Congratulations team.

In my honest opinion, this is one of the coolest games of this jam! It feels incredibly polished—the camera movement is smooth, and both the animations and sound design are top-tier. I really appreciated how intuitive the controls felt, thanks to the subtle tutorial cues from NPCs and the UI. The puzzles were engaging and fun to solve. My only minor gripe was the key bindings; I'm so used to jumping with the Spacebar! Still, an amazing entry. Great job!

rosypenguin 2026-04-23 14:53

@euler-moises @andrian We struggled with choosing what the default controls should be since each of us had different preferences, but you can rebind the controls in the settings! Let us know what works best for you. Thanks for playing :D

iovorobiev 2026-04-23 18:51

Really loved the change of pace in the last level, fun challenge!

Enjoyed the whole playthrough, well done!

tomas-poblete 2026-04-25 02:45

Always impressive (and refreshing) to see a JAM game this polished. I do wish it were a bit more forgiving for those of us who aren’t great at platformers. But hey, the problem is probably between the chair and the screen haha 😅

tay-elenberg 2026-04-25 13:13

very good idea! Art is sooooo cute! Goooooood job

smugsman 2026-04-26 13:36

FLASH GAME VIBES? INCREDIBLE SOUND DESIGN? FUN PUZZLES (especially the last level)? BEAUTIFUL LORE? GRAPHICS THAT MAKE ME DROOL? SEQUEL POTENTIAL? REALLY FITTING THEME? BASIC PROOF THAT ONE OF OUR OLDER CONCEPTS COULDVE WORKED IF WE WENT WITH IT AND WERE ACTUALLY GOOD? MOBILE SUPPORT? Wh-wh-how. Just go and conquer the games industry already, you people are amazing.

vidarn 2026-04-26 14:45

Amazing! A spectacular game. The graphics and audio were so well polished and nice. And the level/puzzle design was just top notch. The last level was just the right level of frustrating XD It was so satisfying to beat it. It took me many tries but finally having that run where everything went right felt great

Very good take on the theme and a smart, cool and fun game mechanic. Very well done!!

daniel 2026-04-26 19:38

Awesome game, and cute ending. Good progression of new mechanics and difficulty, easy to see how this could continue to be built out! With how the final product turned out it really feels like all 3 team members were on the same page working on it.

joeshanahan 2026-04-27 16:11

I had to rebind the controls because I kept pressing space to jump instead of up, but once I did, managed to complete the game after a few attempts. Thanks for putting that in! Amazing jam entry.

emsea 2026-04-28 18:14

We appreciate you giving us an opportunity to play this game on [Co-op Couch.](https://www.youtube.com/live/vUe0ZrDidkI?si=37tBRd7XU4Qktdxw&t=1434)

pipetto 2026-04-29 09:39

You created a great and complete story. You also did a good job adding variety to your platformer - the puzzles were well done.

tomssuli 2026-04-30 18:53

Great game! Everything seems polished.

The music is nice and didn't start irritating even after many loops, graphic style is sweet. I liked the puzzles and to me the signal idea feels fresh. The main character is surprisingly cute for a wifi-router :D

I played the game through and there was loads of level made in the limited time. I enjoyed it all the way through and liked those small bits of lore dropped as dialogue from other failed routers. Ending was cute and satisfying <3

blinry 2026-05-01 19:53

Lovely graphics style! It was very helpful that the receivers have cables connecting them to the thing they activate.

You managed to build some neat puzzles with the simple mechanics! The delay of the signal is quite fun. Not easy at all. We occasionally mistook the "space" key for jumping, maybe another key binding would've been easier.

Our playtime was 27 minutes! Very nice how the last level revealed more and more information!
