Cool effects. Like the graphics. Lots of good stuff going on. Like the lighting and the particle effects. Missing sound and music though. All in all a good start of something. Unsure of how unconventional the weapons are...

Gun fires way too slowly to be of any use. Some sound would have really helped. Way too hard not to hit the carts. Looks really nice though.

your linux link is the same as the windows one so I had to use wine, but it worked fine
Nice graphics. Sound effects would definitely help in this game. Maybe a gentler intro to the game would help too, as it seemed I never really accomplished much other than destroying a few enemies.
