The movement is interesting and fun, but the floaty physics almost makes this game too easy. You should have more faith in your players and allow them to master the physics. I want to feel like I threw myself because I manipulated the physics to my benefit, rather than knowing I'll just glide across the world simply by letting go. Perhaps that's too much to ask for a 72 hours jam, but I'd say the game achieves what it's trying to do quite well.
Overall, a decent game. I had fun with it!
I finally see what all the furry fuzz is about :flushed:
Very creative concept with some nice physics-based mechanics. Characters really reminded me of elmo lol, and art direction is great. Controls are a bit weird at the start but gets easier with mastery. Great game!
This game has a lot of potential to have a dedicated niche speedrunning community if exlpored further. The skill floor (as well as the skill ceiling) is indeed high and it's very satisfying as soon as you get grips with the controls! Nice solo game!
So satisfying suplexing the spiders, 10/10 ign
If you think that's something you will not enjoy, please consider giving it a try anyway because it is super fun!
I normally hate that control scheme but really felt this implementation was cleaner and fairer than any other game of the same genre I played in the past.
It is super fun to swing around, capture creature and bring them to our own cave!
My only complain, please have a visual representation to differentiate when I grab or not with a hand, that would be 5000 times easier for my poor dyslexic brain.
I'm at the bottom of the leaderboard and proud of it 😁 Yeah it's hard, but it's fun! You managed to have a good feeling in the controls, I had fun doing tarzan stuff in creative mode from liana to liana. It makes me think of Heave Ho, maybe it's your inspiration.
For the surviving part, I found the underground a little too difficult to leave.
The one thing I missed to continue playing is controller support, with the thumb buttons for each hand it will be way more pleasant.
But well done :)
Awesome game. Had a lot of fun. I love games with interesting physics and controls, good job!
This game was so difficult, I was struggling quite hard with the controls but after a while I started feeling somewhat competent at it. It was especially tragic when I made it to the center thinking I'd be able to save something on the other side, but could only watch as it got eaten... :(
I would never ship QWOP with LocoRoco, even less expect them to have a child, but here we are :)
I'm so far from mastering the controls, but sometimes it clicked and it was satisfying to move around... only for me to get confused between left and right mouse buttons and then the run was lost 😅 . At least I'm ok with my score of 7 for now.
And I'm still not sure what kills the Jamos. There's times it's a instakill, other times I'm just taking them to a walk along the stage...
One thing I felt missing was some sort of audible cue when a tiny creature got eaten - and another cue for when it is in danger would be even more welcome.
44 HECKING POINTS FOR THE TOP SCORE!? OHMYGOODNESS!!! I'll never reach the top of this chart for this game rofl. Great entry. Had a lot of fun playing it and I intend to keep playing it. Super fun!
Thanks for submitting your game to the stream! If you wanted to watch it again in the future heres the vod of the stream (timestamped to your game)

I felt like I was getting the hang of it near the end there. :eyes: Maybe I'll pop it open again later and try to get higher on dat leaderboard.

my first run i was like nah I cant do this, but then i started to believe
It's definitely a game that you learn as you play and start to get better which is pretty satisfying! Probably one of my favorites of yours that we've played (because it isn't too ragey lol). Definitely elements that are meant to be challenging and probably needlessly difficult. The most frustrating is when your little ball hands all get stuck around your body and slowly trying to untangle... rage for sure. but when you get momentum swinging around and grabbing and hurling it feels really good! I was able to grab onto enemies and fly around with them, not sure if you intended that. Overall great job, loved the koosh balls and dreadlock bois, had fun playing this!
I saw this live on a stream had to come try it for myself awesome job!
Great job! Nice visuals and nice idea! Keep making games! I can play this for 10 hours straight!
I absolutely love this movement system. You can pull off some crazy maneuvers once you get used to it!
I've never seen anything like this before - How did you come up with this idea?
@daniel-alhadeff idk lol I just wanted to make a physics game thats a little harder to control, everything just kinda came togethor
