Great result, especially for your first LD! I couldn't quite figure out how to feed the bunnies.

kurupapuru 2017-12-04 04:24

@baknik, @poorwill

There was little bug, they are agree to eat only if was hungry more then 25%.

I added new file there it fixed.

Nice game. I liked it even when I saw screenshots on your blog! Although stuff doesn't exactly fit on a screen. It makes it hard to understand what's going on.

P.S. I fed them all.

kurupapuru 2017-12-04 07:18

@sovogirl

You can zoom by scrollwheel and move camera with RMB

Or there is some problem with the interface?

Very cute entry. Upgraded the fridge a lot, but did't see how it works. Does it work like the bathtub or is there anything to do with the "plus" button(which I haven't figure out what does this button do)?

sholf 2017-12-04 08:54

That was cute and really hectic haha. I enjoyed it! Nice one.

talia 2017-12-04 11:12

chaos! everything is jumping around, even the furniture. I really like the various pet types.

remco 2017-12-04 13:26

I don't think I've seen the combination of 'physics based' and 'animal care/tamagochi' yet, so the idea feel very creative.

It seems all the things have weight... but the food was a lot harder to move around than I think is fun. On that note: 'Ballnimals' can be moved around with left-click, and stuff that has a left-click function only when right clicking? Or does the little arrow icon toggle?

No tutorial, which isn't really _that_ bad in cases like these (as it's perfectly doable to discover the rules while playing) but it still would have helped. No exit button and _esc_ doesn't work either - I get that people should play the game, but this seems a tad extreme! (I kid, I kid )

I like it for the inherent chaos that invaribly develops, that sort of thing nver ceases to amuse me

Music/sound would've helped with the mood. It's not as hard as it looks and a lot of fun to make!

The visuals are fun and pleasing. But I don't really understand the game, how does the feeding and bathing impact the game? Some sound effect would go well the cuddly look of the rabbi..shee.. animals? Good job!

fangzhangmnm 2017-12-06 07:46

Not understand how to use the fridge and the tv :(

wheffle 2017-12-07 08:20

I ended up with all my bunny heads living in two giant bath tubs with a bunch of food floating around in there with them. I'd throw the TV in there with them every now and then. That was awesome.

When I grabbed something to move it, it would grab everything the mouse touched as I held down the button as well, which made placement a little tricky. That's my only big gripe though. Fun idea, I enjoyed it.

radmccool 2017-12-07 09:30

got 54. not sure what of though :P the game was cool and got really stressful trying to manage everything. good idea that was well executed. I think some basic sounds and background music would really make this game shine

lumous 2017-12-07 10:06

The food spawner was confusing but once I got it it was fun! Great work!

lumous 2017-12-07 10:06

https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/40/stacks-o-cats Check out our cat game if you have time =) More cats!

jk5000 2017-12-07 10:14

The idea is fun, but the game fast gets super chaotic. The graphics is good, and the game really needs some sounds or perhaps just give it some music. But overall a fine LD game.

angelonias 2017-12-07 11:00

I noticed many, which this ludum dare is their first. I'm one of them xD You did great job. One suggestion, put bounds so the little animals won't fly out of the screen. Overall I enjoyed this, great job!

samurai-spark 2017-12-09 16:33

Hey @Kurupapuru at first congratulations for your first successful LD!

The game is ridiculous fun I love the physics and the cute little guys  I like how it gets more and more chaotic with every single pet. It took me a round to get the scroll and fridge mechanics and I would speed up the mouse scroll a bit. But these are minor things, overall an awesome entry!

Oh and the most important thing: My cat find your game absolutely fascinating.

Great job and 5 paws from my cat
