Oh man, Christmas spirit is out in force with this one. I loved mechanics but there is a little cheat you can do to make it easier: just go backwards and you don't spin out. Great work!

Cute art and music, although I think all the transparent clouds in the background were causing some performance issues and the game was tanking my fps.
I'm not entirely sure how the theme fit as I could grab the end gold without any problems, it was just the bottom gold that would spawn an enemy.
Great work!
@king-kujito Mac OSX, but its an old feeble laptop, just didn't expect to take quite such a hit.
Great music but I can't for the life of me figure out the patterns in the petal puzzle aaaagh
Wow, the art is amazing! The gameplay reminded me of an old sheep herding game that I used to play all the time as a kid. Great work.
Interesting concept! I'm a bit confused on how to best play the game, I expected that we were supposed to shoot the shuttle's cargo onto our barge but then the barge started sinking. Loved the ship model, great work.
Lovely little game, I was actually getting pretty good at catching the boxes. Like you mentioned in the description, the box wasn't ever scoring, but I still had fun.
It definitely suffers from a lack of readability. With only 3 colors I was having some trouble discerning what what me and what was enemy.
The movement feels super tight, I loved when I knew a level well enough I could just blaze through it.
The soundtrack was exactly what I expected a retro 8bit soundtrack to be.
Great work!
Cool game. Played it for a couple rounds but I rarely could find the brains with such a large map.
Suggestions: - Add some sort of radar, icon, or indicator for brain locations - More colors :/
The OSX build you linked doesn't seem to have a .app in the zip file.
@jason-kennedy Yeah I had to remove it because it was completely broken. I just updated the Mac and Windows builds so hopefully you're not on Linux :P
The art was great, however there is a massive dead zone where as soon as an enemy gets into, it is pretty much game over. Maybe allow the archer to fire in any angle to prevent this.
Hey that was pretty fun! The bright colors on a black background made the game super easy to read and the 8-bit graphics really were great. The walking animation of the character was pretty funny.
Wow that was really great. I think this is so far the best use of the theme I've seen. Great work on the AI and everything!
Hey @fazz, I just got done with playing your game and I loved it!
Pros:
- Perfectly scoped. You managed to design and build the game in its entirety, and that is a pro in of itself. - Difficulty was properly scaled. I tried to game the system and advance faster than I should and I couldn't do it. I had to progress properly to get there.
Cons:
- Small nitpick but the phaser gun noise would layer up when you has a larger squad of mercs and was a bit rough on the ears. Some slight pitch shifting of the phaser would go a long way.
That's all I've got to say. Great work!

Great fun little game! The difficulty curve was a little steep but did seem to just level out at a certain point. The difficulty at that point was wether or not I'd develop arthritis.
Good fun and great job sticking to the theme!
Interesting not-so-idle game and definitely good move on the cheat button. I played until the AK and really wanted to see the laser (it was worth it).
Great job!
Congrats on finishing the jam! The card mechanic was a nice interpretation of the theme, but man oh man I wish you would have included a sensitivity option, I was struggling hard.
@Fanttum It was too sensitive for my mouse. Tried looking through the default Unity settings in the initial popup but didn't find it.
Great job with the art!
Wow, viciously hard but satisfying when you lead the enemy over the spot. Concept was on point and perfectly executed, great work!
Wow that was pretty slick! I loved the retro style combined with the strange new card mechanics. Great job
Great work with the graphics, super consistent and smooth which meshes nice with the simplistic gameplay.
@Apple Dash Oh man yeah, I keep beating myself over how quickly it gets boring. I spent a significant amount of time trying to get music matching the game and had to end up playing individual 4 measure clips instead of songs.
@schsam Thank you, the original plan was to have an enemy moving around putting time pressure on the growing and harvesting. But alas, too little time.
@GhostGoatsGames Thanks!
@caeonosphere I just got finished playing your game! Wow it certainly puts my music and beats to shame, amazing work on all ends of the spectrum.
Doubling down on what @james-leib said. Your screenshot looks intriguing but no Mac version!
I legitimately laughed out loud at a couple of those interacts, great work!
Loved the genre combo, I was really struggling switching tasks. Although I think I may have got then high score by accident

Way too dark to see anything, but it did set the atmosphere pretty well.
I said this in another thread but great work! One suggestion would be to have variable starting BPMs to add difficulty levels.
Great work, the mechanics combined with the incredibly clean art style made this game my favorite so far in this jam.
