Doubling down on what @james-leib said. Your screenshot looks intriguing but no Mac version!
My poor laptop was getting about 3 frames per second. But I'm impressed you were able to make this in just 48 hours.
Graphics and Audio are excellent and the game was definitely entertaining. The board game aspect wasn't really developed though, it was pretty much just a corridor shooter gameplay wise. Still I enjoyed it and it was very pretty.
It gives "expired link" for me :\
@tudvari Should work now!
Hah Unreal Engine 4? I like that game engine. I'll take a look at your game.
Dropbox says that the download file, are for an empty zip file.
@jk5000 I have changed the link to Itch.io. It should work now! Sorry for the troubles.
I absolutely love the music and sound effects on this - really fun to play too.
It's realy interesting and I had lots of fun playing it. It's also relay funny, because of the sound effects. I'm assumning, that you made them by yourself, so keep on going ;) Good Job!
It looks really good. I wish there was a web version so I could play it.
Lovely voiced SFX! Love the mood of the game (color play) And you've done it in UE4! Wow. Well done!
This is a fun little FPS game, but perhaps a bit short. The graphics is simple and that is okay. The sound effects is really fun, but the music is not super great. Overall is this a fine LD game.
Short and sweet. I like this quite a bit, really! I do like minimalistic design, and the bloody firing sound had me chuckling. I quickly found out that you can avoid triggering a "healing tile" to save it for later, then promptly got stuck inside the boss for a little while. Fortunately, I managed to defeat him with ease. The lack of subsequent levels was honestly quite disappointing, as the experience was quite enjoyable, and I found the idea of triggering enemy spawns yourself to be interesting.
Note that the winning tile doesn't require that previous tiles are cleared, so a cunning player can avoid the boss, as well as a number of the other tiles, by simply walking around them (which I did on my second run). This might be worth changing in the future.
Sound effects are brilliant! We need more game like that. Visually it's also very nice. I would say it lacked variety in "platforms/board spaces" but considering the time, it's nice. Oh and also robots shoots the player just after spawning, so it makes it really hard to avoid getting hit.
Felt too short (took only a minute to beat) but I did like it. One other thing I wasn't a fan of the monsters spawning right on top of me and damaging me before I could even see them.
"piou piou piou !" Haha really nice sounds and graphics. Gameplay pretty simple but it does the job and I enjoyed playing. Nicely done !
What a great game ! Beautiful low poly, a great and well executed idea, I was a bit sad to see the end and wish there were more differents kind of "tiles" =)
love the graphics and nice game !! keep the great work
my pc sucks lagging ;(
Pew pew pew! I like the graphics, and I really like how my bullets bounce but I don't know why that appeals so much to me. I feel it would be better if the robots diddn't just spawn right infront of you though. Good job.
Graphics are awesome, but it needs so much more work on gameplay. As it stands now it's just a corridor shooter without any relation to a theme. It felt like jam time went onto building graphics instead of gameplay, which is I believe not the purpose of jams. Yet in it's own right this is still an accomplishment - to make in compo time a shooter with cool graphics, I think you have a sense of style(low poly and yet does not feel cheap at all). Cheers for the hard work!
Very nice bot game
