It's a shame you couldn't spare more time, but I really like the idea. I love the urgency of having to carefully type in the commands and would love to see this idea expanded. Best of luck with future projects!

A really cool idea. I am not a fast typer so i can't enjoy it to the max but it fits the theme very well
Nice game. The typing adds a sense of urgency and the droning noise in the background helped add to the atmosphere of the game.
A really cool Idea.
I like the mood and the typing made it tense! The way you used command prompt was well done.
@Kobrar @smallboss @sirikan @Extrone @Reign Thank you all! Most of the 'story' work came in last minute--literally--and was only possible due to the system I had set up. I'm glad the mood came out as I'd hoped!
Fun game! I really like the little bit of story that you put into it, gives it even a better mood. Great work!
I liked your game. Its impressive for your first ludum dare.
I'm not sure if you were able to see it, but I played it close to the end of my stream on https://www.twitch.tv/saoigames tonight.
@saoi-games Thanks so much! I must have left just before or something, my bad. Watching it now :).
There are a few fixes I'm making at the moment, for instance the download name was wrong. Also, entering your name was evidently broken, but I just fixed it. It's great to see people play, because I can then notice what's not working correctly.
Yup... I wanted to implement ammo... and it keeps going... lol.
Oh, and the command line memory feature, that's a fantastic idea!
@Hello-Coder Thanks for making it. Are you in high school? It's a really impressive game. You focused on a core mechanic and made it work.
Please keep the "feature" of infinite bullets. That was fun, and I liked the option to just rotate around based on the coordinates for the enemy.
This game definitely has it's mood. Grim, cold, technical. Console typing really enforces the feeling of working with a machinery, as well as screen shake really enforces the impact of your turret. Very well done and especially for the first LD project. The only thing is it could really use some up arrow action to get to the previous commands.
Amazing mood, really sets the stage perfectly. Great having an intro and tutorial like that. Enemies could be a bit more visual (kinda hard to see the blips). With more refinement I definitely could see this as a fun, smaller, game. Until then I'll just continue running "rot 5000" and "fire 10000" :D
A very cool idea. Took me a while to figure out how to play but once I grasped the basic it was very fun to play! Good job!
Loved the mood. I really felt alone out there. The text, the darkness, the sounds, it all added up to a real world. Nice job!
Really great concept. I wasn't great at typing fast enough to react to enemies. I did set it to fire 1000 rounds so I didn't have to worry about firing for a while :) Well done!
I like the idea of controlling the turret via text, but didn't find much fun in it's usage. It's a good concept and I think you did a good job with the overall feel of the game and I'd love to see where you could take this idea given more time to work on it.
@CalebLewis I appreciate the feedback! I agree, there aren't many console games anymore because it's not a very popular genre. I'm an oddball of sorts when it comes to games, so I absolutely understand if some don't enjoy the functionality.
Thanks again!
I really like command terminal games like this, nice work! Really nice mood with minimal graphics. Check out the game Duskers on Steam if you haven't already, it reminds me of that.
@Hello.Coder I feel I should clarify a bit, when I say I wasn't a fan of it's usage I mean specifically just fighting wave after wave of enemy. I feel it could be given more depth beyond that with some more challenge as well. A system like this could be interesting for a tower defense game or something similar.
Really interesting game. The setup is great, and it helps you get into the mood and mindset of the controls. Slightly slower paced than expected, but other than that everything looks and feels great.
Cool coding game. It really tests your reflexes. One thing to note is that I forget to press enter again to write a new command. Like the cody aesthetics too and the sound effects too.
This is super cool, I really like the concept and the mechanics here, the feel and mood is really fitting too, would love to see this later down the line with more work
Omg. I raged the first try. Lol Then it got better when I noticed the coords were laid out for me. Phew. Then I did much better and the game won me over. Awesome theme and mood. Really immersive.
@Kindred lol. I didn't have anybody to test for me, and ran out of time. I'll make an extended version with all the features I wanted to include at first. Maybe you'll have fun with that one :).
Very cool man. Would love to see you take it a little further, nice job in a short time though!
It would have been nice to type in commands without having to press enter first. It would also have been informative if it greeted a syntax error with a syntax error message instead of refusing to accept the input. But I think there is something good here.
Love the narrative and the idea. I love text based games. I would love to do something like this one day :)
@Yahialds Thank you. A little motivation makes anything possible, so go for it!
The mood and atmosphere are great!! I loved it.
Congrats on 22nd Mood! Totally deserved!
