Pretty nice game.
Having a real tough time with this one. The sparkies are just so aggressive and, after a while, too numerous to get the job done. Can't get past level 3.
I love the art and music!
@tyler-miller The browser may be blocking flash. I've added download links for the jam build for flash and windows(neko) on the itcho.io page (https://aeveis.itch.io/sparklit). Let me know if that works for you!
I really love how the game looks. It sounds nice too, the sfx are understated but mesh well. I wish I could do something about the enemies - having to run away and hide doesn't make for engaging gameplay in this case.
@will-walters You can actually create more generators if you surround the sparkies with wires, but this is not explained at all and may cause more bugs and is quite difficult to do, haha. If we continue messing around post-jam we may cut or change what the sparkies do.
It's a nice game :grinning:, but it needs more features and mechanics like generators that convert things to energy etc.
The art is great, the enemy is too aggresive and sabotaging the wires all the time.
The game looks nice. I wanted to try it but it wouldn't download the windows version.
@nuthen In what way does it not download the windows version? Is the browser preventing you from downloading the zip file?
I liked the art, but I found the game to be pretty frustrating after a little while.
