Well done! I like this god-puzzle game. Reminds me a bit of the grow game series (which i really like) flavoured with some black and white. It was fun to find out and play with the mechanics. The only place I was lost, was when I needed three cities, which was not obvious to me.
I can imagine that this game could also work very well on mobile. I would like to play a more polished version, maybe with some sound effects?

This looks intriguing, is there a Mac or WebGL port planned?

Liked this one a lot. Getting meat was the trickiest part but I finally got the lab built! I actually cleared it without needing the guide above, feeling very proud :-)

@laguna Thanks for the comment! Rather busy recently, sorry for the late feedback! There surely would need some work to make this game neat, including sound effect and many other things. The problem is I don't have enough time to do this until June, by when the judge would have been over. This is a great pity, I know. Anyway thanks a lot for the comment!

@bernhard That's impressive. When I was designing the gameplay I was always thinking "Gosh, I made this too complicated". Thanks for the patience, and the comment, too.
Nice game! I didn't how to get a mine. I had like unlimited god power because I had tons of Altars but it wouldn't unlock :(. Fun game, I spend a total of like 20 minutes on it trying different kinds of islands.
Good job!
I love games like this! I've played some of these "God Puzzle" games before, and I like all of them, but I love the sim-earth feel of seeing it play out on a map. I say we need more games like this :)
I do have one pretty major complaint though, needing to keep replacing light. Half the time was spent trying to figure out the next stage (the fun part), but the other half of the time was just click-spamming light. Should you make a post-compo version, I think fixing that detail would go a long way.
the environment responds quite nicely, hope you find a direction to take the project to. well executed to the point it was made( I personally couldn't find how to unlock farms ) commendations on this and all your future endeavors!

Pretty nice game ! I love god games, and this one is quite complete for a compo ! Of course it lacked a bit of audio, but it's not that bad. Maybe you should give some more hints in the descriptions of what you can build/do, and in my humble opinion, this game need a time system like years or days, and then you could make costs per amount of times ! Of course these are only my ideas ! Great job anyway !
Very calming game, I like it very much. It is pretty advanced for a compo entry, nice job! I found it kind of strange that you only can select tiles in the center of them. If there had been audio, the game would've been even greater. :)

I think your web link is broken.
This was fun, very simple, classic RTS mechanics. At some point, most of the gameplay involved spam clicking light everywhere, which was kind of annoying. The idea of evolving more and more complex life forms while maintaining optimal conditions works well in this format. The UI could be made more efficient, and the whole thing could be polished more, but for a compo entry, this is a really great and finished product! Congrats!
I like the core mechanics very much, but I hate, that I have to light everything all the time. The graphics look good, but some sounds would be nice too.

WebGL link seems to be broken?

I really like simulation games, this sort of reminds me of The Powder Toy but gamified. You should continue working on this in the future and add more mechanics or elements to place. Great job!

Awesome game, best simulation I encountered so far! I thoroughly enjoyed playing, thank you!
Looks like the WebGL Link is no good?
I love games like this! I had an awesome time discovering all the different interactions. Really fitting to the theme and a great choice for type of game to make in 48 hours. Great job!

@jesseycool @bomb-x Well..ONE altar is enough, I think, which surely should be adjusted. Right click and move to the horde you placed, you can see the resources it collected. With enough resources it will upgrade to village, whick unlocks mine and farm... At first I want to add popups on the horde, like "+1 meat", "+1 wood", but I've ran out of time.

@lord-bobyness You've got it. "A living map" is my thought of the game. When designing the game there were to be some fading effects on the light, and things like "eternal light" to unlock. And about the post-compo one, I think it would be after the judge, June, maybe, If i had time.

@skosnowich It's a mystory bug, at first the tile response mouse enter and leave on the very edge, since some point during the development it become like this. Need some time to findout and fix it

@phi @rother-games @monty @josh-riley Thanks, I fixed the WebGL link. But there is a bug that you can't rightclick so you can't see the resources of hordes, which is a great inconvinient. At first I designed something like eternal light. but then I gave it to the human sattle points, but it doesn't workout very well.

Very confusing doesn't really work.
I had some wood but it did not unlock horde & altar...
Reminds me of SimEarth and was quite fun to play with. Could use a bigger brush for placing a lot of earth I think, and it would have been fun to see some stats but not strictly needed. Good entry :)
Nice concept, good job.
Great concept, and while yeah it isn't finish it still feels solid and the progression of events makes sense. The only part that made me really frown was when I had to keep relighting everything, that was no fun. Otherwise it was a solid experience. I'd love to see more! Keep it up.

Cool game! Reminds me of Populous I used to play as a kid. Loved the interactions things did :) Looks like you could continue this into a bigger game...

wow a god game in 48h good job! I didn't succeed unlocking everything i need to understand how to do :)
Wow, very detailed and well thought out. It's like Dwarf Fortress but controlling mother nature...and on a micro scale but still impressive. Very interesting concept. Great job!
