Nostalgia! Reminds me of Dungeons of Daggorath on the TRS-80.
Aside from balance issues, very well done!
That was intense. Good challenge level, awesome atmosphere. Pretty engaging.
Also btw, it runs fine in Wine if you don't want to figure out Python versions.
He who controls the spice, controls the universe! I mean-
Pretty solid all around! The controls were a little awkward with switching buttons to shoot when swinging across, but it worked out okay.
Super fun! I kept throwing the rock over the wall so it took me forever to beat the beefy bat, though the number of times I tried shows how fun it was.
I would play this even if it weren't an LD entry. That is impressive.
It's a fun idea, but the level design and game mechanics need a lot of tuning.
The sticky spot is just barely possible to get past, but I'll upload a typo-style fix this evening to make it easier. Luckily that's essentially the end of what I've made anyway, so all you're missing is a floating "the end" marker.
I'm glad the parts I liked worked out well at least. :)
Alright, fix uploaded.
Whoops, fixed that.
eowindil: yeah, half of my theme tie-in was the story I didn't get to (and a cinematic intro I didn't get to either would've made the half that does exist a little clearer than the word "underground" in the title) :)
