These are hella fast snails O.o Fun game, love the idea, only the sound effect for the spawnig lava/enemies are a bit too loud otherwise it's fun to play

But solid game with nice graphics and mood. Well done.
Fits the theme well and is not too hard, really nice that you only have to replay the current level.

Game was simple, but fun. Those snails were a lot faster than I thought they'd be, and trying to juke them in a tight corridor can be tough.
The graphics and music worked well together, and the lighting effects looked nice.

Enjoyed the game overall, I don't know if it is just me but I find the player's movement a bit slippery, maybe it's because the floors are slippery thanks to the snails? XD
Fun game to play, the key lag before opening the door added some suspense if i was going to make it or not haha.
It's fun to be running from snails, of all thing. The only trouble I had was getting caught on the walls sometimes, making it hard to move. And I think if you have the key it would be a quality of life improvement to just open the door when you touch it instead of having to click. Otherwise it worked well, I ran from snails, I dove into lava and it got dark. The background music was kind of fitting with the level design too.
Simple but fun little game. The keys taking their time to open doors got me killed a few times, it was a little jarring because I thought the door would immediately trigger if I had a key. I like the lighting effects and overall atmosphere, good job!

@roroto-sic haha thx. Yeah i had thought about to implement bullets to kill the enemies but then the game could become "too" easy. So i thought instead of just shoot how about to lead them into the lava ? :D

Liked this one a lot! The art is super charming, and the concept strong and fun. Loved kiting the snails into the patches of lava to try and escape them!!
There is so much that is endearing about your game - the cute character sprite, the unique overall story, THE ADORABLE SNAILS :heart: Music was fun and added to the fast pace race to escape. The last level seemed easier than the one before it? So perhaps level order needed to be shifted around, but I liked the variety of 10 second events. A suggestion for post jam - extra moves like dash? Could be neat if you have to find the dash upgrade, kind of like Zelda, before you can get the key, and then to the door. Or maybe just check this one off as a success and move onto the next great build! Good work!
Little fun game with snails. I like the style, it is quite simple, but with effects it looks very good. The music was not bad, the only thing that annoyed me was the sound of the lava warning. In general, a good game.
the snails are more dangerous than they seem, i appreciate the snail meme. pixel art is simplistic but the colors and the mood are on point. you could try to add some pathfinding to the snails!

I had some trouble with the gameplay however : I felt like the movment was really floaty and felt unresponsive. Maybe buffing up the character acceleration by a lot and rising a little bit the deceleration could do the trick ?
Good game, like the graphics and post processing, the song was a bit repetitive, I will say that 10 seconds wait is actually too long a time since the levels are very short, the darkness is barely a convenience, simple balancing issue. Otherwise, a good game.
I won! Avoiding the snails while looking for the way out was fun.
Graphics are simple but the global artistic direction is good for this type of game. A concept is easy to understand and the gameplay is chill to play and that's nice. The thing I don't liked is the character movements. I don't like the player intertia with acceleration and deceleration especially with the collisions which are not smooth so the player can be stuck on 1 pixel and this is weird. But for a COMPO game, it's was cool to play!
Very fun game! For some reason the tiles did not become lava when I played it even though it said on the screen :/ But! I love the music and the graphics and the game is very very fun to play! :D

@kostas-nik thanks - yeah A* Pathfinding was an idea on the feature list. Maybe in the future.
@akadream thx. Yeah i think you are right. The accelaration makes it a bit tricky sometimes to move.
@digitaldude555 yeah 5 sec had worked better. As i designed the first level i had only one tile or one enemy spawn after 10 seconds. So i increased it(also it would increased every 10 seconds).
Cool game! I liked how there were a variety of events that can occur every 10 seconds. The art looks really nice as well. Nice job!
Nice little game. the movement was great, the gameplay was fun and The objective is clear from the beginning.
Simple, but fun, best way of creating concept for jam games :D The pixel art was stunning. Great work, keep up the good work!
