This game hook was addictive after you get good at moving the items to the shoppers! Thank you for letting me play your game :))

d00kl1 2022-10-03 01:44

The background music was thumping: real urgency and primal vibes. The art design is clean and effective–although there are multiple items occupying the same space, it never feels cluttered; picking up the item from the middle of a jumble is still possible.

reevest2 2022-10-03 01:47

That was unique

deniz-aras 2022-10-03 04:40

@d00kl1 Thank you for your contribution. I am glad that you like the game. Engine that I used is not very good with physics if you combine them with other behaviours (This cause overlapping of the physics collision boxes.). I know the issue but I couldn't find the solution to that problem.

deniz-aras 2022-10-03 04:41

@gruff Thanks mate! Moving the items are the main challenge of this game. Hope you enjoyed your time.

naemis 2022-10-03 05:04

The game was unique in having to move the items to the customers (felt very diner-dashy) but I feel like it was missing some kind of polish. Perhaps maybe because there was no stakes of losing a customer as I can literally just wait for the item to come out. Item spawns were a bit too slow as there would be downtime of the player just waiting for the item to come by.

Having variety of customers that will pay more to get their item sooner (aka be more impatient) but pay more gold would also help this problem as well.

Overall, very cool innovative and cool idea, graphics were fine for what you were going for, and audio worked as well... I just believe that with a little more fine-tuning the gameplay elements and this would've been rated a lot higher.

rein 2022-10-03 05:15

This was really challenging! Only constructive feedback I have is some items were really hard to see against the background and it seemed a little too easy to catch them on things. That said, I loved how quickly chaotic it gets with tools flying all over the place! Very well done.

deniz-aras 2022-10-03 05:49

@naemis

I actually wanted to add a frustration bar instead of timer. However I did not have enough time to add that feature. With that when you got customer it will start a timer and how long that specific customer wait will add to frustration bar. However, within 48 hours I did not have time to spare for that future.

I did not want players to wait for the items, so I created crusher. It recycles your items for a new one. That way when player did not have the item they need they just have to recycle to find their weapon. (That might not be clear on the "How to Play" section. Sorry.)

Thank you for playing my game. Hope you like it.

deniz-aras 2022-10-03 05:50

@rein

Thank you for your comment. You are right it is bit hard to see. I didn't notice till now, silly of me. Thanks for the feedback.

chitoyuu 2022-10-03 07:37

You've got a nice art style! Somehow all the text showed up as Windings in Firefox, but the game is straightforward enough I didn't really need the introduction, so I just pretended I was reading goblin language. It's accidental but honestly I liked it quite a bit. Well done!

deniz-aras 2022-10-03 08:11

@chitoyuu

That is a quite unique bug. I have never encountered it before. Hope it didn't effect your game play and enjoyment of the game.

Thank you for your input.

gotanod 2022-10-03 08:23

Interesting idea. Easy to move the objects with nice collisions between them. At the beginning it is not easy to identify the required objects (not full screen). Good job!

castitatis 2022-10-03 09:56

really challenging, such a fast paced game actually :D It was really fun

rickylee 2022-10-03 11:45

Great game! ^^ My score was 45 \o/

Its a simple idea done really well! I didn't experience any bugs. All the items are easy to identify and move there's just SO MANY ToT haha :')

coderaurus 2022-10-03 12:19

Nice game, I like the mood you set up with the music. Graphics look fine and shiny. I guess you have to spread the items around, otherwise they will clog the spawn real quick.

Not sure if you are aware, but the timer goes to negative after game over. Very minor thing, but I wanted to let you know.

Interesting game concept - actually having to drag items to the customers were an interesting mechanic. I like the art-style as well, and also that the items looked sufficiently different so that you could match them with the right customer at a glance.

I had the bug where I could not restart the game (easily fixed with a reload).

The idea of having a furnace to get rid of duplicate items was a nice addition, i.e. introducing a tradeoff between "tidying up" the playing field vs. dragging items through a pile of currently useless ones at a cost of time.

A solid game.

ani 2022-10-03 13:32

I like your different take on the theme. I agree with @naemis that having stakes would add urgency, but it was fun nonetheless!

shimmerscale 2022-10-03 13:32

Fun game! The art and sound are both really nice. I enjoyed racing the clock to find and deliver the weapons before time ran out.

deniz-aras 2022-10-03 15:20

@somnium

I am not a great coder. Addition of the furnace actually comes from that. Nearly all of the item spawns are random. I needed to give player the power of recycle and get the item they need.

I noticed that bug also. However, I couldn't find the solution within the jam time frame. I solved it now, but it is to late.

Thank you for playing and giving the great critique.

xpycm 2022-10-03 15:38

I would add walls between merchants. Otherwise you can just move any item down, and then freely move it between merchants.

bukkaketears 2022-10-03 16:14

AS mentioned above, very quickly it turns out that the best strategy is to move everything to the merchants and just hope that it will be a match.

And if I would like to play with huuuge mess I would sit down to my life, not play a game! Jokes aside, as for compo, cool game. Simple, short so you won't get bored with its mechanics.

fifut 2022-10-03 16:20

Great game. I think walls are a little bit too sticky. The music stick to the mood

sdelay 2022-10-03 18:26

Great game, addictive indeed. Love the physics, and interactions between items. At some point, there is so much items I can't move any. Played twice an enjoyed it!

vhalenn 2022-10-03 18:59

The game is fun ! I feel like we can often loose if we don't receive the weapon asked ! Nice job !

mdotedot 2022-10-03 19:00

Well done mixing game types. Also nice touches as swords being clinked to walls (which might not be intentional, but it was a cool effect) Physics interaction between the different weapons wasn't prohibiting movement which I thought it was. Nice work!

nyxkn 2022-10-03 20:10

Very unique entry! Dragging the weapons around felt quite fun. Really nice art! Music and sound effects are well fitting. I thought it was a bit hard to identify the weapons in all that mess, but it gets easier after a few playthroughs. Very well polished entry!

harry-alissavakis 2022-10-03 23:21

Nice art and some very addictive gameplay! Really nice and unique concept too, and the implementation with all the different weapons and the physics etc was awesome. Nice job!

david-hampson 2022-10-03 23:47

Nice concept! Feels like the best strategy is avoiding the walls and dragging the weapon thru the alley on the side + bottom -- interesting choices it makes you consider.

aeveis 2022-10-04 03:30

I think my best score was 33! I liked the variety of weapons, and trying to figure out what they were asking for. I would usually end up trying to satisfy the goblins instead of recycling. I tried going for a strategy where I would try and drag as many weapons down to see if goblins would just take them (I think this only partially worked). nice job!

bridgeonastick 2022-10-04 13:30

Solid stuff! Sometimes a bit hard to keep dragging the items as they get stuck really easy, and at first the icons were really ambiguous. Gets overwhelming near the end, but that made it more fun. Nice job!

sephowepho 2022-10-04 21:51

That was neat! I achieved 35 gold on my first attempt, though I'm sure I could do better with practice! It was strangely fun just swinging the weapons around the screen, even when I wasn't trying to sell something (XD)! This was a super neat entry for the Compo! Keep it up! :D

talenvin 2022-10-05 07:39

Really cool game ! The concept works pretty well and the ambiance with the sounds and graphics rock. I just had some troubles to see some items like the bow or the wood mace. And it is quite frustrating when the items you need don't spawn x)

GG Well played !

matt-green 2022-10-05 20:25

Definitely innovative, I've never seen a game quite like this one so that's a plus. The game looked incredible but the items were a bit hard to see sometimes.

I'd definitely give this one another go sometimes. Lots of cool things you could do with it!

amunonra 2022-10-22 09:33

Fantastic artstyle with many object details. I also really liked the challenging but entertaining gameplay.
