Love the graphics and gameplay of tossing and collecting all sorts of items. Reminds me of Backpack hero! Great Game
very nice art, couldnt figure out how to get past the first level thing. end screen is fire asf
That's something. I couldn't kill the slime but the concept seems quite fun! Also like the music.
Interesting one! Pretty funny. Definitely a unique concept, I don't think any other people thought of something like this! Good work
Amazing entry!!!! Loved the sack mechanic, felt very smooth. On the other hand the throwing felt super clunky and I repeatedly had to restart the level because the desired item would fly off somewhere unreachable. Besides that 10/10, the sack mechanic was SOOO good.
its a great start. the art is amazing. the physics could use some work. but i can see that some of the jank was intended. great potential. and i mean that
The art is beautiful! The concept is really good as well.
As a minor point, I found that sometimes the item I would give to the hero would land on top of the monster, and I couldn't recover from that.
Great entry overall!
Okay wow this is such a great idea! The art style and graphics are wonderful!
I found it difficult to throw things out of my bag and aim them at my fox master. Quite often the fire potion will be at his feet, close but not close enough! I love how you kick items in the air and have to watch them in your backpack (and you see them go in too!) The music is really vibey and chill too!
I'm gonna keep playing/trying. Does it have an end?
Love the art. Music is great too. Collecting things in the backpack and throwing them out took a minute to get used to, but was a lot of fun!
I liked the inventory mechanics! I did have a little trouble with accidentally throwing items clear over Farquad's head and not being able to reclaim them next time he needs it.
All of the art is super charming and I subtly wonder if the physics frustrations add to the experience of having to do this annoying busywork for farquaad. The main thing would be that the red indicator on the ground is deeply unhelpful most times but it definitely feels like it's part of the challenge that the items have real physical weight and all the cumbersomeness of that, rifling through the bag and making a mess. I also found it kinda fun to sorta precisely catch the items when they were thrown up into the air.
@resacagames @kassie-kitsune
Thank you so much! The "frustrating physics" was something we settled on very early and wanted for the items in the backpack, but the throwing mechanic was on top of our list to adjust but we just ran out of time unfortunately!
Really nice game! Especially enjoyed the art of the poor mouse carrying the backpack und the music. I find the idea of how the backpack was implemented very interesting: Pulling out stuff was a bit tedious/clunky at times, especially when the stuff you pull out doesnÄt fly in the direction you want it to and have almost no way of influencing that. Truly the worst job but fitting for a poor mouse hireling ;)
I really liked the artwork, the gameplay was also pretty fun and unique, I agree that taking stuff out of your backpack was a little clunky, but I had a lot of fun!
Good and interesting idea. Nice))
Good game, maybe it's just my personal issue, but I had some difficulty killing the slimes and had to restart the game multiple times. My personal suggestion would be to perhaps add a reset button that could be helpful? The character design is nice, and the children are adorable (unfortunately, I keep starving them...sigh).
I drew a fan art for those hungry little creatures.

Oh my, I'm sorry if my picture is too big and takes up too much space. If it's necessary, I can delete it.
oh my god @yuriscat that is so cute THANK YOU SO MUCH!! That's given me so much joy!
I agree a reset button would have been helpful in case the item gets stuck past the fox, thank you for that confirmation!
The graphics are superb and the music is jolly and upbeat. Like others I had trouble with the mechanics. In one case I threw the cheese and it just got stuck at the top of the screen. I wish there were a simpler interface for giving items. But other than that this game has a lot of potential. Mood and humor are excellent.
Loved the art and the design of the game, but the execution was a bit frustrating. It was suuuuper hard to throw the item properly :(
I love the art, the music is really nice and fits the theme and the concept I think is great. It's a fun story too! I was unable to finish it because I couldn't stop items going ahead of Farquaad making them unrecoverable (I think maybe a a small zone behind him and an invisible wall ahead would sort that out) but when it all lines up it works so well!
I like the dialogue and the throwing stuff up in the air to catch it in the backpack was really fun! Also... right to left gameplay is a + in my book! We don't see enough of that! Great job with this! It's something I feel has some great potential if you all kept working on it!
I encountered some small problems. During the first game, Mr. Fox seemed to get stuck and kept repeating some words quickly. The second time, I walked out of the map and couldn't go back, but I still really like your art style. It's really great!
Great game, but a litttle buggy
