Cool idea, looking for peoples' names in the files. No music, but the honk to let you know about a new task was a nice touch. Some feedback: It took me a couple minutes before I figured out what to do. (Reading the instructions would have helped, but I prefer to just dive in to the game)
I played all the way until the end and i didn't even realise how much time has gone by. I imagine the real life version of this game isnt very relaxing, but this was! : )

@wadlo Thanks for playing! Yeah, I wish I had thrown in some elevator music or something lol and I'm glad you figured it out without looking at the how to play!

@blue-pin-studio Glad you liked it! I do it like 4 times a week for work, it can get pretty stressful. But thankfully we're not always doing it alone.

Hey nice submission. Had fun playing it, had some laughts because of the horn sound =D Cute style. Some critique. 1. Controls should be more consistent imo. It's confusing sometimes to switch between cart and legs. 2. Sprite size should be more consistent (pixel size I mean) but direction is good. 3. Interface sometimes gets in the way, it's not very comfortable when you are overwhelmed.
Good luck!

@dexort Thanks for the feedback! The cart is supposed to be harder to control, but easier to manage since you move faster and can store a lot more bags on it. I'm not much of an artist so I can't do much about the sprites, but the interface was the best I could manage in 3 days.

Neat little delivery game. I like the way you have to keep track of the names, orders locations, and vehicle locations in a way that mimics the real life process. The visuals are mostly okay, but the random car colour needs some tweaking. Sometimes they're so dark that they're almost impossible to see. Audio is pretty minimal, but what's there works well. The car honking to signify a new customer arriving was a nice choice.

I didn't realize I need to store the bags into the cart by clicking, I thought they would automatically go in there! Other than that the game really makes sense! It lets me know how hard it is to plan my moves to waste less time, and to look for customer's orders from a long list of names! I like how slow the cart turns, mimics the reality haha. I think you can go more crazy on the cart - like speeding up slower, with a higher max speed, and slowing down slower than it is now in the game - which can give the feel of a really heavy cart, and cut down the time of transorting. Overall, I like it!

@veralos Thanks for playing! Yeah, Unity random color is pretty ugly, I probably should've just made like 6 or 7 random colors manually and shuffled between those. Glad you liked the honking sound that haunts my coworkers' and my nightmares.

@stagyl Ahh, I get why you would think that. Everything here works basically the same way it does at my work, I didn't have to come up with anything on my own lol the only thing I didn't add was having to avoid cars while crossing the street to give out orders.

This is a nice submission, I like the sound effects too. I feel like the movement speed should have been maybe a little bit faster as it felt a bit slow though.

Loved the idea for this game! Having to search through a bunch of packages for the names and picking them out one by one was both unique and fun. The game doesn't have much sound but what's there is good and is used effectively. I think the game could have done with some better graphics, and perhaps some refinement of the mechanics.
I had a bug where as I opened one of the package areas, if my mouse was over where the cart inventory was, it would move one of the packages back into the shelf - lost a couple of deliveries as a result lol. As the game is, I still think it's great - I could easily imagine this being a minigame for a larger game or something like that. Overall I think this was really good, well done!
It was cool to driving the shopping cart, but the control wern't very intuitive
I enjoyed playing your game. Well done!
Nice game. Add visuals for packages instead of text it's hard to read and grab the correct package. Controls need little bit of tweaks. Overall great game.
Nice little game, did the easy version and then tried the hard one. It was really hard, felt the stress of working in a warehouse :D Cool, that you added multiple difficulty settings and the shopping cart for faster transportation.

I'm very slow, even in easy mode, so I will not retry with harder mode, but I survived the shift and… well, some customers had their commands (I'm afraid that the other will have to return tomorrow, when a faster/better deliver-man will take his shift ) Fun game, maybe the distance between stocks and customers is a little too long, but this is still playable as is Good job!

This is such a great idea for the the theme. I love these work games where you are juggling systems and using the limited resource of time to optimize throughput and crank, and I think you have designed a really great core for that.
The implementation was also solid, handling many complexities and different states with effective use of UI menus and character controls. The sound effects and info displays were also well chosen. I especially appreciated the celebration siren when I delivered and order, it was a great touch and really leveled up the satisfaction of the moment.
For my own personal taste, this game is too slow to capture all of the potential of the core idea.
After learning the ropes on my first couple of deliveries, I hit a trip where I got three 1-packages, I ran an efficient route and I delivered them just right. But I did not get that feeling like "awww YEAH I am a delivery GOD!" Game is simply too slow to deliver that over-the-top feeling of accomplishment.
I guess I experience it as a dissonance: Game makes my brain feel hurried up, but movement is very slow and basic actions require navigation of multiple menus.
I do think it's just taste: some people will appreciate that! But for me I want to play this exact game except the movement is 10x faster, and there are no menus.
That's not to say "bad entry" because this is a really good entry. I just thought the idea had SO much potential if the pace was cranked way up. I did still enjoy my time with it, and I hope I didn't over-emphasize negative stuff here. Well done!

@adjo Glad you liked them! I messed around with the speed a bit, it was originally much slower so I'm glad its close to what's desired.

@pegasys Thanks for the feedback! Dang, wish I knew a fix for that during the jam, I think I had some similar things happen while testing but I wasn't sure how to deal with it.

@pkenney Thanks for all the feedback! Most of the stuff in the game is basically what I do for my job, so if it feels unrewarding or slow or fast in some parts its pretty much reflected in real life too lol I could've tweaked the arrival times for guests and made things more hectic, but balancing the different difficulties in the right ways would've taken too long for the jam. Instead, I opted to make different difficulties have a different number of bags per order, which doesn't add too much to the pacing but it does make things harder/more frustrating on the player.

Great entry! I got the concept straight away. I found myself trying to hit escape to get out of the menus a lot. It can be a pain to have to click on each menu element when I'm incentivized to optimize time. Also, sometimes when I'm next to a box that I click, the "in hand" menu appears right under my cursor and I drop the goods.

@knatt Thanks for playing! Escape would've been great for closing menus, wish I thought of that.
