Looks really good! Ill be sure to play it on release day!

stefanie-leitch 2020-04-20 12:39

Looks great, music is great; however, I couldn't make it to the top and your stamina replenished so slowly that I just had to restart the game to try again. It would keep the player more encouraged to keep playing if the first level was easier (are there more levels?).

davo628 2020-04-20 12:42

Its really good! I like the feels of the controls and the way you adapted to the theme, for a currently in beta game this is great. would love to see more

nikkrope 2020-04-20 12:44

Music and audio are very nice and fitting to the game. But there are a few issues with the gameplay, the stamina bar replenishes VERY slowly , which made me restart my game instead of just trying again. Maybe make it so that if you fall to the bottom, then the game will replenish your stamina to full.

wet-band-aid 2020-04-20 12:45

Very atmospheric. Loved it.

ohmyguigui 2020-04-20 12:47

Nice game ! It made me think of undertale :)

rirdeg 2020-04-20 12:49

Love the style of this. Fun platformer overall. Stamina regenerates way too slowly though, it for sure made me anxious about how much I was using but I ended up just quiting and relaunching the game on the first level if I made a mistake. It did seem better balanced in the few levels after.

ciber-turtle 2020-04-20 13:19

This game has very good art and sound. And this game has very good controls. The climbing feels kinda like Celeste!

haro-games 2020-04-20 13:19

Great artstyle, very polished game, but i think the regeneration of the stamina is a bit slow therefore it is sometime boring to wait

retrome 2020-04-20 14:14

Very nice game, catchy atmosphere, fun to play!

epicgamer768 2020-04-20 14:57

Really good atmosphere, would make the stamina regen quicker tho

salmonmeagar 2020-04-20 22:15

It's very nicely polished and aesthetic to boot, but messing up a climb is way too harsh due to the slow stamina regen. Also, I think I pressed shift mid-jump or something and ended up stuck in the jump animation, unable to move.

johnhennasy 2020-04-21 00:46

Great idea, Great Execution

donigem363 2020-04-21 02:40

I love the multiple ending choice, could have made the choice easier to understand though, other than that probably one of the best ones I have played so far!

fewine6523 2020-04-21 02:49

Fun game! I like the art

bobothegreat 2020-04-21 03:25

The graphics and music are incredible! I kept running out of stamina right when I saw my friend

almighty-games 2020-04-21 04:30

I originally didn't think I'd enjoy the game based on the animated graphics, but after starting the game, and moving around, it was actually a bit more engaging than I predicted. The minimalist graphics has a certain appeal to it. The graphic style was consistent. The music was soothing, and the audio sound fx seemed to fit the style of game. Good job and I wish you the best of luck!

bootygangdisciple 2020-04-21 05:06

This is definitely my favorite game out of this whole jam. The artwork, the story, and the music was all fantastic. Thank you for showing me this game, and I would love to see more from this if you keep developing it.

samdemaine 2020-04-21 05:14

Thanks for your feedback, We are thinking of developing a full game with more puzzle aspects aswell, Ill keep ya posted on here <3

afroant 2020-04-21 06:38

Thanks for the experience! Great mood. Things were confusing at first, but it all made sense in the end. Wish the ending was with the other person...or did I get the bad ending? :P The way the character climbs over the cliff corners was awesome. Great job!

jeneni3909 2020-04-21 11:19

Best game of this jam for sure

vetoji5431 2020-04-21 11:32

The music was really nice and soothing, few minor bugs here and there, but nothing that effects gameplay.

andret0701 2020-04-21 12:40

This was verry original and well done game! I liked the mystery of climbling up the walls and each level felt nice and well polished. Cool idea ^^

peachtreeoath 2020-04-21 20:19

There's some great atmosphere in this game. I think the best part of the game was actually the beginning, leading right up the the title of the game. Presentation like that REALLY stands out, it's very rare in jam games or even real games. The game had some decent tension, not necessarily from the stamina bar, but more from the atmosphere and extremely dangerous tentacles that 1-shot you.

One thing I think could be improved is the variety in level design. I could feel the progression of challenges in the beginning. But after a while I felt like the same skillsets were being tested so the execution became rote.

Overall the game did a good job pulling me forward. A big part of that was the intro, and the rest was because of the things in between levels. They were mysterious and intriguing enough to get me wanting to find out more. I had a sense of what the game was about but I'm glad you made it more concrete at the end. I'm not much of a fan of total interpretation cliffhangers like Braid, I think that's a bit lazy so good job there and good job on the game!

blue-pin-studio 2020-04-21 21:47

One of the only games of the jam that i actually to the end! Loved it, the music was good, ambiance was good. Slight issues bumping my head when i jump but other than that, smoooooooth sailing!

jvdwijk 2020-04-21 22:23

I loved the mood setting, the art style together with the particles made it look so dang cool. The levels were well designed and could easily be expanded on, props on this game ^^

adamcyounis 2020-04-22 04:07

Hey! I really liked the sentiment behind this game. LD games that try and create a narrative are always special to me, and I liked the way the designs of things like the IV and the hand reaching down hinted at the reality behind the metaphor. Hitting the ending screen did a lot to tie it all together, similar to my own submission, so I'm glad I made it to yours, as it helped understand what you were going for. I liked the simple style and the music was great. I felt like the game could have used a litttttle bit more dynamism when it came to introducing new mechanics or making use of the systems in a more creative way as the game went on; The game did drag just slightly in the latter 1/3rd. Overall, a solid entry, thanks for sharing!

illuminegames 2020-04-22 04:10

Love the simple style of the game. Audio is great. Props to having multiple endings. Multiple endings in a game jam is always a super intimidating idea. Great job at pulling it off!

storyteller-games 2020-04-22 16:00

The game has a really nice atmosphere, the simplistic art style is amazing. I love story and the multiple endings. Amazing game, congrats!

gentoogames 2020-04-22 22:02

I love the mood and overall feel of this game! I think the stamina could regen a little faster, and I would have loved to see some harder levels. I never really felt like I had to stop for stamina ever.

marcmagus 2020-04-26 17:39

I kind of wish stamina had regen when standing rather than at a station, to make it more distinct from the hope timer. Overall a nice entry.

ETA: Thanks for bringing this by my stream for us to check out. I'm sorry I didn't get to it while you were there to watch, but I did get a chance to play. You can watch the highlight at https://www.twitch.tv/videos/617517580
