I have completed my kingly duties and summoned many rains.
Wish I could get my controller working! This was fun with a keyboard/mouse and I bet way better with the double-joystick. Love the take on the theme and love the details with the cats cheering you on as the storm arrives

I enjoyed dancing, but I am not sure, but felt like my gamepad had drag or something - I would fly all over screen sometimes! But so much fun! I think I broke kitty a lot trying to do those sitting poses! Cruel dance!

It was really cute! I loved the art and I actually was surprised I got past the first stage. Its really unique, QWOP meets posing :D.
Amazing game! I loved the visuals with a lot of moving parts (not just the body, but eyes and the crowd) and I loved progressive audio with many instruments.
The game worked very well with PS4 controller. Sometimes the movement felt a bit janky but with how generous the game is with scoring, jankiness just makes it funnier!
Once again, thanks for making imprecise poses count, a lot of games in this genre are so difficult it gets frustrating, but this one turned out perfect for game jam.

Best graphics for a jam I've seen so fare, the whole game has a consistent great look! To be honest I hate these types of games haha but this was this was so much more fun than I thought, the game is easy enough so you don't become frustrated but still gives a generous challenge. Great entry, congrats!
The control of the character is horrible but that's what creates his charm, seeing the king in completely incongruous positions and the difficulty of certain positions, I loved having a bad time with him. Thanks to you and keep it up! Score: 14:25
I had a lot of fun playing this one! Played it all the way through. Loved the pixel art. The music, graphics and physics work together so nicely ad the game feels very polished. Very goofy and unique style. I like that the game has a very simple idea and just does that thing very good. I feel like this game was scoped very well for the limited time. I had a little trouble detaching my head in some of the poses in level 3 tho. Thanks for making this!
It's giving very QWOP vibes in the best way possible. It's challenging to get it to match at times - I really enjoyed summoning rain for my feline serfs!
Loved the idea of jojo posing as a main mechanic, although I got an extremely hard to do pose as my second task. Also - great music and visuals!

It took me a while to learn all controls, where you should press the key or where you should hold it for some time! But I just had to finish ut, even when I realised I was kinda stuck. Great Game, it's so fun!! Also a very interesting approach to the theme! Thank You maki it rain.jpg

Such a cute and fun game! Love the Cat design and interesting use of the theme. Only problem was the controls were a little tricky to learn but once you get the hang of it its pretty fun!
The gameplay mechanics in this game are so intuitive! It's like the controls become an extension of your own instincts. Plus, the art style adds a unique flair that keeps you engaged throughout. Definitely a gem worth exploring!

This is a very fun game! I love the ragdoll puppet idea. The first time I didn't understand how the controls worked, but after a few minutes I adapted. Good luck!

@scurvystevon In the game you play as The King of the Cats performing a rain dance in order to summon rain and alleviate drought in the land.
The game is essentially a summoning ritual.

Very cute concept, and pretty pixel art! By the second day however I got a weird bug where it seemed my cat was drifting to the side, even after resetting with X.
It's quite hilarious how it looks in some cases but I can say that controlling the puppet on the keyboard is far from ideal (I guess the main control method for you was gamepad, which is OK). The art is amazing tho and music is nice as well. Like how the theme is implemented as well
I thought this was a fun and unique take on the theme that was executed pretty well! I haven't seen another game like this in the jam
The spriteowrk is good and full of charm, and while the music kind of got repetitive after a while, but I also took way too long on some of those poses ngl LOL.
Playing this on keyboard was kind of painful at times, but I can tell it was intended for controller. Sometimes the rig would go absolutely crazy and fly all over the place but honestly that looked pretty funny funny, the jank actually added to the experience experience for me.
I also liked how the poses themselves started to become progressively more broken I thought that was funny too
