Very cool game!!!!

nef1k 2025-10-06 22:58

Looks pretty and quite polished. Even has a bit of a learning curve. Nice work!

ira-baciu 2025-10-06 23:01

Graphics are INSANE. Your arters deserve a kiss

sirplop 2025-10-06 23:02

Very polished, great sound design, if a little on the loud side, but I had a lot of fun!

xvidavi 2025-10-07 01:06

@ira-baciu thank you! it was quite a sweat to finish before time

xvidavi 2025-10-07 01:07

@sirplop we were planning on a volume setting, sadly we ran out of time. Thanks for the kind words!

xvidavi 2025-10-07 01:07

@nef1k thank you! it takes a while to learn it well, even tho it is quite unbalanced in some areas :>

johnstarich 2025-10-07 03:05

Excellent art, music, sound effects, and gameplay tradeoffs. Awesome game!

I'd love an in-game tutorial, even a short one would've been a big help, then it'd be off to the races right away.

wolderado 2025-10-07 07:53

Pretty good entry! I liked the strategy of it. Placed a lot of arcane cores haha. Concept of table-top power management is really cool. I always chose the grid size increase on quote rewards because I felt like bigger board means more energy. I don't know if that's only me but everytime I place an object game had noticeably froze for a second (I played on web)

porcupine-sashimi 2025-10-07 08:36

@wolderado Thanks! Yeah we've noticed that grid expansions are overpowering the upgrades, perhaps on future updates there'll be an even greater incentive to choose upgrades.

lefinno 2025-10-07 09:00

@wolderado Thanks for playing <3! yeah, the web version was not optimized, the build took ages to force it to work on itch. you can try the other versions tho ^^ they work way better

anorphie 2025-10-07 10:57

Wow! The art and sounds are super cool. I really like the style and the way you interact with objects 😋

tentacos 2025-10-07 11:12

Great visual style and music! Game is becoming pretty challenging after three or four deadlines, and i like it. Had some visual glitches [Снимок.PNG](///raw/ceb/56/z/6e8f8.png)

morepixels 2025-10-07 11:14

This is an amazing game!! I want a full game immediately hahah, it's such a cool puzzle game! I'm in awe!

tardis2snej 2025-10-07 11:35

LOVE this! Looks great, interesting to play. Lots of fun and strategy thinking. I would play a full game of this!

xvidavi 2025-10-07 14:11

@tentacos the visual glitch (notably on the resource tab) is a known issue on some devices and we're not sure how to solve it. Very glad you enjoyed the game regardless! <3

xvidavi 2025-10-07 14:12

@morepixels @tardis2snej We definitely plan on fixing some issues and adding more stuff in the future! keep an eye on the itch page for any updates and big thanks for playing :3

mk-han 2025-10-07 14:58

Really cool! Animation of details so smooth -- great work! I hope that someday Eccentricity became viral

korzhik 2025-10-07 15:49

I really enjoyed this game. I was a bit lost at first, though I eventually figured out what was required through trial and error. Games like this definitely need a tutorial. Otherwise, you did a great job!

mololo 2025-10-07 16:07

Screenshot 2025-10-07 190326 (1).png

I had so much fun with this game. After I completed it, I went to infinity and kept growing. At some point I had so many rows and columns that I could not place more modules so I had to stop. Otherwise I would have played all day :))

Besides that I love the graphics, the music, everything. In my eyes a 5/5 game. Great job.

alex-servirog 2025-10-07 16:13

Incredible work in such a short time! There is a slight problem with scaling by the end of the game (space is super cheap because of the quadratic scaling). Most big modules don't make sense if you consider them relative to space efficiency. This is a problem everyone would want to have. Saphire is MVP. Music is good but gets repetitive by the time you reach victory.

2025-10-07_17-51-01.png

After the victory can't reach some areas of the field =) 2025-10-07_18-03-34.png

dmytro-zhukovetskyi 2025-10-07 18:15

Amazing puzzle game. Simple yet addictive =)

bea 2025-10-07 18:45

ough I played this one for a while! Might come back to, especially now that I'm seeing other people's machines! Really loved the look of it!

artalasky 2025-10-07 19:28

An absolute gem. I'm not a fan of games like this, but this one is really cool.

danicoredj 2025-10-07 20:59

smart game

mackelio 2025-10-07 21:02

wow what a game!! so much depth in gameplay in just three days?? Thats crazy!!! i really really enjoyed it! the sound effects and the visuals are on point! one of the best entries i saw so far for real!! :D

lefinno 2025-10-08 03:36

Thanks y'all for the kind comments! We've included a mailing list in the links~ this way we can keep y'all updated on future updates and/or play testing builds if u wish to receive them ^^

here's also the link for convenience~ https://forms.gle/Aj6dYK7t5j8fxe7v7

xvidavi 2025-10-08 06:21

@alex-servirog hey thanks for playing! when the grid gets too big it's possible to move the camera around with WSAD! it's a bit of a hack but it lets you play a bit longer :3 cheers!

nekobones 2025-10-08 07:52

How could you finish such an amazing game in 72 hours! Got a little stuck at first but then it's just as fluent. P.S.: this looks like a bug 屏幕截图 2025-10-08 154742.png

blue-pin-studio 2025-10-08 08:00

Wow! The steampunk vibes were fantastic, great art! I'm pleased i made it to the end but it was pretty tricky to get a hold of what i needed to do and how to suceed. I think there can be a lot more work on the visual clarity side of things, like a toggle for top down and maybe icons for the different buildings so they're easily readable at a glance. Very cool entry tho!

ranejeb 2025-10-08 11:35

This entry looks crazy! Items on grid look absolutely incredible for a 72h jam! Hope you guys add a tutorial for the post-jam version if you do decide to make one

split82 2025-10-08 12:09

Amazing 3D models and soled gameplay. Really enjoyed it. Great work!

juanrod707 2025-10-08 12:59

Amazingly fun puzzle game, you can tell the team pured a lot of love into this. Congratulations!

jasminej2003 2025-10-08 15:50

EXCELLENT game!!!!!!

toupaks 2025-10-08 16:13

This is insane work !

bjornstenlund 2025-10-08 17:01

Amazing game! Loved the music, and the gameplay felt well balanced with great variety! Well done :smile:

mobo-613 2025-10-08 17:13

Great game, I really like it. However, I personally feel that the interactive experience isn't as straightforward as a top-down view would be, and sometimes it's easy to misclick. But the final result is truly stunning once everything is laid out.

wetburritosupreme 2025-10-08 19:44

Woah, expertly done, really great puzzle game that was really satisfying to master!

annie-owl 2025-10-08 20:12

What a fun game! Amazing how you've managed to make such a great looking game, with extreamly fun and deep mechanics in such a short time :smile:

I loved every aspect of the game: graphics, sounds and sound design, music, and most importantly game play! Great job!

And here is my final victory setup, pretty boring, I know :sweat_smile: screen1.jpg

miguel-monteiro 2025-10-08 22:25

Fun game! The sound effects are a bit jarring though... Was kinda hoping the game had an ending or something but I enjoyed it overall. The graphics were great as well :smile:

caeonosphere 2025-10-09 00:45

Neat! Played this one longer than expected and ended up winning. Amplifiers are OP :)

woona 2025-10-09 07:07

Wow, what a fun game! I managed to complete in on my second try (the first one was like 5 turns long, so it doesn't count)

My final board after 33 turns:

eccentricity.png

I liked that I had to balance a lot of resources: primarily money, energy, heat, board space. I completely skipped the batteries, but would try a battery build now that I know how the game works. I didn't use heater item too, it seems counter-productive. 😅 Anyway, it was fun optimizing and finding the best strategy.

I think it would be even cooler if you could place buffs on specific rows or columns, so item placement matters more. For example, -10% heat from items in a row, or +10% energy, small buffs like that. 🙂

porcupine-sashimi 2025-10-09 09:06

@woona thanks for the suggestion, that's a great idea and we'll definitely keep that in mind! As for the heater, once you figure out its use there's no going back :)

bumble 2025-10-09 10:22

This game gives me vibes of Opus Magnum, in gameplay as well as general style! (Which is a compliment in my book!)

I will definitely come back to this one and try to figure out more combinations of machinery :grin:

In general I have to say that this is a very well made entry and completely blows my mind how you can achieve this polish in so little time.

atsh 2025-10-09 18:14

Very nice game! I was a bit overwhelmed at first, but it turned out to be more simple than it looked - the tooltip really helped. Would be nice for heat effect indicator, tutorial and on screen keys

100th-coin 2025-10-09 18:40

Oh my, I seem to have out-scaled the quota growth. By the end I was making 200K output. Incredibly fun game you've put together here.

Here's my video recording. Enjoy!

Hi! I am **[collecting GitHub entries](https://github.com/stars/dhmmasson/lists/ludum-dare-58)**:

You have listed a github repository, but I get a 404! I am guessing the repo is private. You may consider making it public so that I can add it to my list.

I have also collected a few tricks to make the repos shinier across my Ludum Dare participations:

---

Repo name and Description

You can update the repository name (I always name my repo ldXX and I rename when I have found a name for my game) without breaking links (GitHub redirects old names to new ones), and add a description for inclusion in the list ( still redirect to my repository)

Readme and Badges

Include the link to your ldjam entry in the Readme. I also have created badges that you can use to decorate your README:

``` Ludum Dare Ludum Dare 58 - Compo Ludum Dare 58 - Jam Ludum Dare 58 - Extra ```
Screenshot 2025-10-06 at 08.35.40.png
Topics
Consider using these **topics** on your github description to make your Ludum Dare entry more discoverable: - `game` - `game-development` - `ludum-dare` - `ludumdare` - `ludumdare58` - `ludum-dare-58` - `ld58`
Cover Art
You can also use your cover art for the ```Social preview``` image in the repository ```Settings```
Stars
Also, I am on a quest to have a repo reach 10 stars. If you play my game, consider [leaving a star on my repo](https://github.com/dhmmasson/tilesCollector) as well.
Ping me when your repo is available and I'll star and add your repository to a list of ld58 compo:
@100th-coin WOW, had a blast watching this! Thanks so much for enjoying our game :DD (we will tweak the infinity mode in future updates to make it more challenging)
dumchevdev 2025-10-10 12:51
The game is VERY COOL, I am delighted with the visual style!
ochpochpunk 2025-10-10 21:59
Very interesting concept! The visuals and audio are very pleasant. The only downside is that the goal isn’t quite clear, and I didn’t fully understand the purpose of some of the modules.
threeli 2025-10-11 00:36
Sorry I'm late to playing your project, today was the first day I could get back on the computer, but I'm here now so let's go!
Wow, other than a few visual bugs (overlapping tooltips, weird draw errors) this is exceptionally solid. Seems like tons of effort went into this, no idea how you had time to playtest! Very fun strategy, well explained, pretty, great audio... just exceptional effort all around. A blast to play, I hope you're considering a release at some point, I would for sure pick it up!
lemonink 2025-10-11 01:28
The visuals and theming are on point, and it was addictive once I got the hang of it!
xvidavi 2025-10-11 11:18
@threeli Updates are definitely incoming! we have lots of ideas and lots of polish to do. If you want, you can sign up for the mailing list in the links and thank you for your review! <3
thiefviolinist 2025-10-11 16:18
It was fun. I think took space over upgrades every time except 2(i think +gold for every 10 gold and more rare things, i never had problems with gold tho). Sapphires are OP. I guess there are 2 another builds with heat maxing and batteries. Also map changing angle feels a bit annoying. Great game overall.
crowelian 2025-10-12 10:33
The visuals are great and great game!
I think the UI was bit too clean, it could need some grit (but considering the time 72h to do all, so I understand), otherwise really great!
custodi 2025-10-12 18:59
I love puzzles, graphics and gameplay are excellent. Bad there is no tutorial, but tooltips were helpful. UI is a bit messy + some valuable information does not marked (price text is too small on shop panel).
ophiene 2025-10-23 19:45
Amazing work! It’s super interesting and has a vert unique way to paraphrase the theme, good job! And welcome to give our game a try! :)
