Super appreciate the warning up front about flashing lights. I think I would've enjoyed it more if I could reduce the flashing just a little bit. It hurt after a little while

Love the frenetic vibes. I'm not able to get past level 1 but I can see the strategy and how the mechanics should line up to make it to the next level. I'll chalk this up to my own skill issue haha.

I won!

The reveal rules confused me a bit at first. An in-game tutorial, or hints at what is happening for my play and reveal actions would be huge. The hover detail text for each card type were very helpful.

Nice music track that looped well, and I enjoyed the sprites. The card names were fun.

ASTRO JAMS by jelch 2025-10-12T07:08:28Z

I like the take on music mixing as collection. Plus driving through space is always a blast

Looks like the compass stopped working after the first couple collections, so I couldn't tell where to go next. The enemies weren't very difficult, which kept things chill, but didn't present a struggle to enjoy either. I think you're on the right track here.

Veggies Clash by Yorsh 2025-10-12T22:50:27Z

Good music, it looped well. The characters had fun sound effects too, although they all felt like the same person in different sizes (and shirt colors). Perhaps some random variation in skin tone or eye color would've helped with their uniqueness without being too time consuming. Totally understand the time constraints, it's impressive for the time you had!

I liked the difficulty, I felt it was well balanced. I definitely lost a few rounds before finding the right team to play. The in-game tutorial was really nice to see. Great game.

Give or Take by Manlok 2025-10-08T05:03:24Z

Spooky! The constant ticking clock, the life-stealing theme, and wrestling with an unknown force is compelling.

I'm not sure if it was intended, but moving things to pedestals felt futile as the hand took them anyway. It certainly was a powerful message. Great job.

Eccentricity by Lefinno 2025-10-07T03:05:04Z

Excellent art, music, sound effects, and gameplay tradeoffs. Awesome game!

I'd love an in-game tutorial, even a short one would've been a big help, then it'd be off to the races right away.

The Mycologist’s Journal by magus77 2025-10-08T06:56:02Z

I won(?)! (cropped to avoid spoilers)

I ran into a few minor bugs, like an invisible collider near the playerhouse door, getting stuck in geometry when jumping near the bridge, and being unable to collect the white mushroom. I would really love a backpack or something to speed the game up a little. Shuttling a single mushroom at a time with my tool in the other slot was extraordinarily slow.

The humor's fun, the incremental upgrades are good, and the story is interesting!

Weight of GOLD by Maxwell3000 2025-10-08T01:36:23Z

Great work! Love the built-in tutorial with learn-as-you-go style, the sounds, music, art style, and the whole mechanic of "don't collect everything" is very clever. Major props.

My only complaint is I'm not very good  I got pretty far (I think), but would usually barely miss the mark and get sent back to start. The mechanic that most frustrated me was landing on a slope causing me to slide down, usually into an enemy, so no matter how precisely I landed, I'd spill my coins. Perhaps this was totally intended and I just need to get good haha.

Again, great work!

Block Head Meat Mage by Paul Merkamp 2025-10-07T07:55:32Z

I really like where this is heading. The design concept of clicking together multiple toys combined with a twist underneath is compelling. I liked the sound effects and art style too, very 90's with a twinge of horror.

I did get stuck a couple times (had to refresh) because the Play button would not reappear, even though the little characters died.

Acorny Business by Theo Ratkin 2025-10-07T02:44:56Z

Flitting through the forest and listening to the ambience was lovely. I got 14 acorns!

I did find the controls a little tricky. Maybe it'd be helpful to slow down a little automatically near trees? I like the variation in trees over the landscape.

A Stamp-Stealer Postman by Pimeko 2025-10-11T01:59:10Z

Fun story! Ah, the life of an unethical postman.

I found delivering mail to the wrong city didn't have a great hint to bust out of that cycle. Maybe being able to review the mail stacks for undiscovered postage before delivery would've helped me, not too sure.

Gravelight by Adrien Tremblay 2025-10-13T01:54:18Z

I found myself looking over my shoulder while sneaking around. Riveting!

Great ambiance music and crickets. The sound effect for "collected" was a little harsh, but the dig and walking were good. I wish it were a little more difficult to enjoy the struggle

Whiskers in the Dark by SlaQr 2025-10-13T02:17:01Z

I had a blast. Who knew it'd be so exhilarating to be a cat?!

Pasted image (2).png

Fantastic choice of music, it matched the fast pace and reminded me of the good ol' Tom and Jerry cartoons. Thank you for the in-game tutorial taken at my own pace, those are so valuable. And I love the variety of mice patterns, plus the hilarious picture of way too many of them stacked on top of our poor, unsuspecting owner.

I liked the addition of other rooms. Some surprise upgrades hidden inside would've been the cherry on top of an otherwise excellent game. Great work here folks.

The Garbage-Man Of New Trash City by kenevil1 2025-10-12T06:11:10Z

Love the trashy vibe. I did struggle with getting trash delivered fast enough, I think because I had so much trouble distinguishing pickups from the background. Perhaps a small glow, shimmer, or vibration when driving close to them?

The dialogue was hilarious. The shouting-from-the-back-room lines were my favorite. Great work!

Trip to the Teeth by Braulio_JG 2025-10-08T01:01:29Z

A surprising take on the theme, but totally works! I like the mouse protagonist, art for the environment, and its animals. The little bit of music on the death screen was fun, too.

Garbage collector's minion by Mibi88 2025-10-08T05:36:11Z

I tried running on Linux, but I'm hitting a dependency missing error: Pasted image.png

Perhaps the web build will be good enough for me to try again

Garbage collector's minion by Mibi88 2025-10-12T06:30:28Z

@mibi88 Thanks for the web build! It made getting started way simpler, faster, and safer.

I did get hung up on the 3-region level, where the lag shot past my ability to click fast enough. I think with a little balancing and sound effects this could be really great.

Good concept, control scheme, and gameplay loop!

Scrapfighter by Martingonn 2025-10-07T23:45:12Z

Please embed the web version of the game on itch.io so it can be easily played and rated by more folks! Downloading and running is more tedium. I also hit a couple crashes on Linux, which may have been smoothed over with a web build.

I had a rough go of it while trying to shoot back. Part of the problem is I was shot within seconds of the game starting, usually before Godot finished loading. It seems enemies spawned nearly on top of me, so I had no time to try the controls before I died. A reticle would help a ton too. I saw a line roughly centered, but wasn't sure how to use it effectively.

The controls felt good, the enemies also typically path-found me too. Great work for a first time 3D game!

Collecting the One Pistachio by Pandaray 2025-10-08T00:15:24Z

Is there a good way to move the camera? I poked around random controls and found scrolling worked for zoom, but couldn't get click-and-drag or arrow keys to work to pan around.

I love the music track, though the music loop is a little too short. Great story, art style, and gameplay!

Gold Grabber by F2_ 2025-10-07T02:24:04Z

The tutorial was great, and let me get to playing right away. Love the music and sound effects. The difficulty was far too high for me, perhaps because the rooms aren't very forgiving for small mistakes. Admittedly, I'm not an amazing platformer but I did get stuck for a long time on the 2nd room. Persistence paid off eventually :)
