Autumn Apples by Cambryx 2025-10-07T14:58:14Z

That's a quality fruit juicing machine (especially towards the end)! :D

A very enjoyable idle clicker. I played it 3 times. Got 4641 apples in 8 seasons in my last run.

The graphics look great, the music is fitting, and the atmosphere of the game is super cozy. Very addictive.

thoughtscapes by gemcc 2025-10-07T11:44:30Z

Amazing, amazing game. I quickly understood the game mechanic, and it was fun juggling your abilities in the right way to solve the "puzzles". My only confusion was when I had to use the mouse to aim my throws.

"Collect your thoughts" is a great take on the theme, and the atmosphere in the game fits perfectly.

Nice isometric graphics, wonderful music, and a clever ending.

Fantastic job, everyone!

deck of doom by 0x0961h 2025-10-07T09:42:17Z

Really impressive that you made this in just 12 hours. I had a fun time playing the game.

Appreciated the difficulty selection (I am bad at top-down shooters). My best hands were normal flushes and a four of a kind. Never managed to get a permanent upgrade. Maybe more of the easier hands should provide permanent upgrades?

I agree with the others. The idea here is very interesting.

Tax Collector by ManTou 2025-10-08T23:19:33Z

Fun idle clicker with a great sense of humor. I maxed out all upgrades before I realized you can expand into the ocean. My bad, I should have read the tutorial properly, haha.

Magnet Boy by Cope 2025-10-07T15:33:26Z

Quite a fun game! In my first attempts, I was running around all the bombs, thinking I could dodge them all, but always failing within 30 seconds. Then I started playing more passively at the bottom, and this worked really well. Since the valuables do no disappear, there seems to be no punishment for waiting around? Or maybe that means less valuables will appear in total, I don't know.

The music is very fitting and just sounds great. It's still going in the background while I am typing this. :D

Very well done!

Lil'Jones 2: The Collector's Tomb by SolidHinken 2025-10-10T10:11:07Z

I enjoyed it, and played until level 11.

However, there seems to be no negative consequences of clicking Next Day. As soon as my backpack started to fill up, I just clicked Next Day to free it all up. What's the point of spending time managing your backpack, if you can just clear it up for free?

There also seems to be no goal we are working towards?

One idea to solving both of these could be to set a limit of ten days, and say you must collect e.g. $5000 total within those ten days.

There is potential here, but it needs a little more cooking. :)

Piggybank goes forth by Flying Dog Fish 2025-10-15T15:33:35Z

This was a fun game, and I managed to complete it in my first try. The audio and voice acting is top notch! :D

My only complaint was the left-right camera panning. I never feel sick from playing games, but this made me feel bad somehow. But not enough to stop playing. :grinning:

Overall, I really enjoyed the game, especially the audio, and the progressively increasing difficulty. There was a coin inside 8 wall bricks that I didn't figure out how to get.. so maybe there are also secret passages?

If you enjoy platformers, consider trying out my submission too. :)

Rust Rebirth by Paulsams 2025-10-11T12:46:53Z

Wow, stunning visuals, and super fun to collect all your upgrades and finally beat the boss using your upgrades.

Kings Orders by Dannyk1994 2025-10-08T22:36:50Z

It was fun to manage the workers, and the game has a nice atmosphere.

The only small bug I experienced was the sheep spawning somewhere inaccessible (possibly under the scrolls at the top).

But overall the visuals looked good, the music was nice, and everything worked very smoothly.

Meep Rising by Kristian Kurktchiev 2025-10-06T23:09:15Z

Fun game. :)

However, playing the web version, I was lagging heavily towards the end (I got 1-5 fps). So, I would recommend playing the Windows version.

Shiny things by DmitryGalias 2025-10-08T16:01:07Z

Once I understood the Flappy Bird mechanic, and that it also works for LEFT/RIGHT arrows, I think the movement worked very well.

The poop mechanic was fun, and the game felt fair and balanced.

Overall, a nice game.

Lambball by rainybyte 2025-10-06T22:24:12Z

The other day I was thinking about the good old game "Qix", and how it could be interesting to create a modern version of it.

And then I stumbled upon your game now! Really creative take on the genre, and certainly a fun one.

Capo Collector by Deruitda 2025-10-07T12:34:45Z

I appreciated all the transitional animations and the core mechanic is very interesting to me, but I never figured out how to play well. The cheapest worker I could get was $11/week, and the only offers I get earn $10/week (+$10 at the end). How can I ever go positive? I lasted 42 weeks with lots of respect, but money was negative all the way through.

Collectore - Ludum Dare 58 by Truedat 2025-10-08T16:30:41Z

Enjoyed collecting the letters, and the shop added a strategic element. The ultimate goal of the game is unclear.

The Strongest Army Is Already Dead by ullent 2025-10-09T12:35:05Z

I really like the idea of building your own army using the fallen enemies. Very cool concept.

Pick it up, Bippy! by milq 2025-10-11T23:22:09Z

Finished it and loved it! Really cool that you did graphics and audio all by yourself - it looks and sounds great.

The movement mechanics are interesting and quite challenging. It did feel a bit punishing that both characters are reset when you die. Maybe it would feel more fair if only one character gets reset. But I'm not sure... you don't want it to get too easy either.

Overall, an impressive entry that is both fun and challenging to play.

Flag Collector by Beebster Games 2025-10-06T23:32:16Z

Movement felt good (except for moving platforms), and I enjoyed collecting all the flags.

This could actually be a great way of learning the flags of the world. Imagine each country has their own level with their own visual theme and music, and you run around collecting that country's flag. I could see myself playing that, and learning something subconsciously.

Good job, and great idea.

Also feel free to check out my platformer submission.

Cupcake Collector by BalimaarTheBassFish 2025-10-07T11:21:43Z

This was a lot of fun to play! I loved the hidden cupcakes in the clouds, and the secret paths behind walls. It gave me pleasant flashbacks to games like Commander Keen, Jazz Jackrabbit and Zool (candy themed game).

The controls were easy to understand, the graphics were awesome (I really love the candy theme). Great job!

I also submitted a platformer game. Feel free to try it out, if you want. :)

Out Of Energy by Custodi 2025-10-08T12:13:58Z

out-of-energy.png

I had a fun time playing, and the difficulty level was appropriate.

It took me a minute to realize there are multiple towers, but the "signal" symbol alerted me of that fact. Nice touch.

For stage 3, I went all the way to the bottom. The level does not seem to be infinite, so it is a bit easier down there, only being attacked from one side.

EMBERS WILDFIRE by einfach 2025-10-08T15:43:25Z

I'm a fan of the atmosphere and the narrative of this game. Really well done and unique.

I also enjoyed the gameplay - finding the right path under time pressure. However, on the last level, I believe I was not able to collect an ember in the top left side of the screen, due to being blocked by the walls.

The text towards the end flashed too quickly for me to be able to read everything in time. But it was an interesting message.

Overall, a great submission. And keep in mind, the LDJAM Rules allow you to update your game with small fixes - as long as you don't add new features. If you have the time, you could consider it.

Beelines by raysplaceinspace 2025-10-08T15:25:58Z

Lovely game. Highscore is a great way to increase the replay value.

Gold Grabber by F2_ 2025-10-06T23:18:07Z

Thanks! @beebster-games There is indeed only one level - about 5-10 minutes of playtime.

Gold Grabber by F2_ 2025-10-08T16:49:05Z

@raysplaceinspace @nnnnneeeedddd - Thanks a lot for your feedback.

I chose to make the left/right movement instant, without any build-up, for the crispest possible controls. You push a button, you move instantly at max speed. You let go, you stop. Full control, full precision. However, given your feedback, perhaps a bit of acceleration will feel better. I will experiment with this in my next platformer game. Thanks.

Gold Grabber by F2_ 2025-10-08T21:31:18Z

@beebster-games Windows 11 has a built-in tool called Snipping Tool, which also supports recording video. It can also export to GIF, but those usually have weird lag for me, so I use ffmpeg to convert from MP4 to GIF (simply `ffmpeg.exe -i file.mp4 file.gif`)

Gold Grabber by F2_ 2025-10-09T12:02:53Z

@ira-baciu - Not currently possible. But alternatively you can use ENTER to jump, or you can use a controller to play (jump on A).

Gold Grabber by F2_ 2025-10-11T23:22:47Z

@milq Thank you. I am happy to hear you enjoyed it. :)

Gold Grabber by F2_ 2025-10-16T00:05:15Z

@flying-dog-fish Thank you for playing till the end. I will fix the double death bug in the post-jam version. :)

Collector Clash by toastercosplay 2025-10-07T08:15:39Z

Loading for me was instant for me, so no problem there.

Neat little fighting game. Nice that when selecting the same character, they have differently colored clothes to distinguish them. Also cool that you have different attacks based on whether you are jumping/ducking/standing.

It would have been nice to know when you successfully land a hit. Either an animation, or a health bar.
