Nice game! Good quality and pleasant gameplay.
Interesting idea! Nice
good game, art was nice. amazing music, love the ticking clock noise that's throughout the sound track
Nice and polished game. One issue i found was on PC controls [CTRL] + [W] closes the current browser tab.
Beautiful art!
I really liked the music and the way it developed with increasing difficulty of the waves. I think the game is not too easy, but not too hard either. The setting of it being in a clock tower and the obstacle itself being the advancing clock is also super unique. And it even has a story. Wow!
The gameplay reminds me old sega sonic game. Nice graphics!
@jhonny111 I noticed the same thing hehe- pretty painful! There are plenty of controls we've prepared however, let me note them down on our pages, thanks for the reminder :D
Holy shit, absolutely awesome
Very nice visuals and an intense but fun game loop.
I just wish I had a better controller than my keyboard. I would have been a lot better!
I'm not used to bullet hell and damn, even on easy it's quite hard. But it was very fun. Very NIER-esque. I played the game using Wine but i would have loved to have a Linux build (as you said the HTML5 was lackluster).
I did manage to complete it on medium. The graphics both the 2d and 3d as well teh music are all really nicely done. Certainly impressive within a gamejam time frame. The gameplay was ok, I quite enjoy a bullet hell or twin-stick shooter kind of thing, but even for me it felt like it was a bit too drawn out, especially as the boss fight was basically the same as the previous section in terms of gameplay. Also with the way its arranged(at least on medium) it felt like it was just a matter of patience to beat it as dieing doesn't really set you back much (not at all on the boss). Also i played the WebGL version and opn my controller stick left/right worked but up/hown didn't I ended up using the D-pad which worked fully instead. All felt very polished, just maybe try and condense down the gameplay a bit to make it less repetitive. But great effort overall :tophat:
@automatonvx Thanks for the feedback! The WebGL issue we did find, for some reason the exact same input setup works fine on Windows and in Editor, but breaks in WebGL (among some other issues we had found in WebGL in the last 2 hours when we were testing, more info on this on the game page :D)
I agree that the gameplay might've gotten a bit repetitive, we might've been caught up by scope creep a little there hehe. I guess I could've sped up the entire clock, in general, though!
As for the bossfight with no setback; this is intentional for the game jam in this case, we usually try to build in SOME sort of failsafe so people of all levels within the jam will be able to in some way experience the entire game. Our post-jam version (it's already ready, but we'll wait to upload it till after the rating phase) has a bigger penalty. Not sure if I can get myself to finish the bossfight as we intended, even post-jam, though hehe
Thank you for playing!
Pretty hard! I didn't end up finishing before putting it down. I was only playing on Medium too xD Its a good entry, i can see you tried to work in a bunch of aspects of rpg games and lore and stuff!
Really cool stuff, so impressive that you did this in 72 hours man!
A pretty enjoyable and arcade-style bullet hell game — I liked it! I skipped the tutorial and only found out after finishing the game that, besides the dash, there’s also a time-slowing ability xD Also, the main character’s artwork is really nice — it strongly reminded me of the guide from Tower of God. Definitely a thumbs up!
This was really fun to play, I just wish I was better at playing it lol. The narrative was really cool, the graphics were great, the audio was great, and the overall game was a fantastic jam entry!
Really impressive, the artstyle reminds me of an upgraded version of n64/game cube games, very very well done :D
Great game! It's fun and looks great. The music is very nice too. It's lacking a bit of sound effects maybe. It's kind of classic bullet hell but still have some unique settings with the clock. Overall very complete and well made, congratss!
Fun game! Really enjoyed the whole clock/time them and how the field shrunk with each item pickup. And the character portraits are really well done

Played on medium. Great little game here
The main mechanics reminded me quite a lot of disc room lol. Both the dash and bullet time felt good to use and also felt like they had the right amount of time behind them in terms of delays/cooldown time. I loved how taking damage cleared some of the bullets around you. I kinda wish collecting the hour glasses also did the same.
The presentation as a whole was great, but I have some issues. The 2D and 3D art was beautiful, but I felt like the environmental shadows got in the way of the game sometimes. Whenever the shadows of the background showed up, they basically blocked the shadows of the bullets. As a result, it was honestly hard to tell where exactly the bullets were sometimes since it basically screwed with the game's depth perception.
Since I'm talking about the bullets, I wasn't really a fan of the orange bullets. They kinda just pop out of nowhere randomly and quickly to the point it's hard to really dodge them sometimes ( Maybe just a skill issue on my part, but I think they would work better if they're speed was decreased ). I do love the intensity of the game, but I think these issues definitely detract from it because for this sort of intensity to work, everything needs to be immediately readable ( imo )
I also felt that the clock hand was kinda underutilised. I do like the idea that it effectively boxes you in the closer it gets, but since it never really gets that close to you, it doesn't really impact the gameplay much. Granted I died a few times, so it's probably just a skill issue on my side again, but I think this is still worth noting.
Also was a little dissappointed that the pattern for the boss was pretty much the same thing as before and didn't really change much throughout the boss.
None the less, I think you guys still managed to make something pretty great here. The lore details were also a nice touch. Kudos to all of y'all
Ouch... I really suck at bullet hell games. I had to play it on easy, and I died like 20 times. That said, I'm really impressed! For a jam game, this is polished and is quite fun to play!
The game feels pretty hard even on easy mode (I totally suck at this kind of game), but you’re kind enough to the player, so it’s all good! The art and sound are awesome! I played it on WebGL without any issues, except for the controls. To avoid problems with the Control key, I’d suggest using Shift instead. Since Space is already for dashing, Shift would let you play one-handed without triggering the browser.
Impressively complete entry! I beat it on easy mode for now, I'd attempt the harder ones if the game didn't stutter on this laptop - perhaps once I'm back on my desktop. Really good work, congrats!!!
Well done! The gameplay is quite simple, but well executed, with lots of visual feedback. It actually got quite hard so I had to switch to Easy so I could go beyond 6 o'clock... haha. I actually thought it would go all the way back to 12 but the boss happens a little earlier. I loved the fact that the music seems to progress with you; I don't think it's actually adaptive music but it does give a sense of things getting tougher, more or less in step with the bullet patterns.
One thing I noticed is that unlike the main level where your progress is rolled back when you die, the boss doesn't regain health when you do. The clock winds back, but you can pretty much die as much as you want until you exhausted his HP. Otherwise, the Quit button doesn't work on Windows :D
The visuals are very nice, with the time of day being a particularly nice touch. The controls are simple but reactive and intuitive. Overall, a very nice entry.
I absolutely adore the main character model! The artwork is all very excellent, I'll be taking a lot of inspiration from it.
I think the bullet time input wasn't working in the web version for me (probably one of my browser addons interfering), so I had to play the game without that, and it was extremely challenging! (I did end up trying the windows version too.)
A really polished and nicely rounded game! I am definately not great with these kinds of games but I did manage to beat the game! (on medium, leave me alone..) I like that the game is nice and doesnt make you restart the entire game on death. Those characters are really cool too :O
I also noticed that my controller's left joystick only went sideways, so I had to use the dpad (but I like some extra challenge ^^), I guess the current Unity version is kinda broken. Didn't really hinder the gameplay either way.
