Really reminds me of N+ I used to play on DS! Neat little game though, and great job communicating the controls!

Really reminds me of N+ I used to play on DS! Neat little game though, and great job communicating the controls!
the pixel art reminded me of old Nitrome games, nice!
I couldn't figure out the swimming mechanics, it felt a little like ocean qwop lol.
Loved the pixelated rgb-blur sort of effects, kind of nostalgic!
And I thought the way the person just kind of Joumped into the water (possibly hitting the diving board) and spun around helplessly in the water was hilarious :)
I really like the little popping sound effect *pop pop pop pop*, oh and the crinkling sound and turning white when you die. Cute art too!
And "Clampbells" is HILARIOUS to me
This is really cool! I like how well the controls are communicated, and I love the character and really enjoy the little lights you can pick up!
Criticism: I really want to just jump straight down the hole, but I die I do :( (mostly joking)
100% on the cave submarine vibe, and the slow unease. I played for a while, but nothing really happened unfortunately. I gave up, but came back because other reviews are talking about a cool jumpscare, but I didn't find it :( Also the movement was a little bit frustrating when id hit the walls the wrong way and bounce back
Sick game though! I really love the visuals and vibe here. <3
Really good job teaching with level design! I started off the first level kind of like "huh is this it?" and then on the second level was like "OH cool!!"
Although cute I think the little happy cthulu took away from what otherwise would have been a really cool atmospheric kind of thing.
But yeah Good Job!
super super good! Very impressive!! There are so many things I love about this, the overall vibe, the music slowing down with the giant ants at the end, the pikmin sounds, the way the music looped in a way that felt intentionally annoying as a joke but also ended up not actually being annoying? The plants were all unique and interesting, and I was eager to unlock them, and the difficulty progressed in a nice way. NICE JOB
First off, cool idea! With polish, I could see this becoming a fun game, kind of a weird type of point-and-click haha
For what I was able to play, I found it pretty hard to predict what would happen when I did different things. Like it seemed like I was mostly jumping back at the same places, but it seemed like it randomly would or wouldn't send me further into the background. I got as far as the fishing pole after 5 or 10 minutes at it, but couldn't figure out how to interact with it, clicking didn't work :/
nice! I thought I was supposed to get the red things at first, but I figured it out afterwards lol. But yeah fun game!
Awesome game!
Fun little game! I really love the sound the golds (?) make when u bump them around lol
Fantastic !!
Very Cute! <3
One quality-of-life nitpick: the movement inputs feel pretty crunchy. I think it's because keypresses only work if the animation has completed, so it ends up dropping a lot of them. Fixing this would go a LONG way towards gamefeel i think :nerd:
@plastus hhhhh I suspected that might be an issue :disappointed: glad u figured it out though! :cat:
@jesus-gonzalez yess sorry, there are three distinct colors of pollen (the blobs) which don't mix  I tried to use brightnesses to ensure that they'd be visually distinguishable without color vision.... But based on your comment it seems like it wasn't enough :( sorryyyy and I will do better in the future !!!
@alex-mulkerrin according to all known laws of navigation bees cannot swim :crying_cat_face:
This was a treat! I really liked the shakey drawing effect, and I thought all the gestures were fair :) I went a while without realizing that the double arrow line at the bottom rotated the hand, so that sort of had me stuck for a minute.. But I figured it out eventually haha
I as well as others got stuck in the fire... But i also managed to launch myself over the gates haha  I was able to fly in most places just by continuously moving into things and holding down the jump button :open_mouth: I love the vibes on this though!! Very.. Pac Man World  Screenshot 2025-10-05 at 8.50.40 PM.png
@soloadventurergames here!
Fun little game! I love the depth of puzzle you're able to get despite the small set of mechanics :)
The camera movement was very sensitive for me so I wasn't rly able to do much other than chase the sheep around before getting motion sick  But the vibes are Simply Unmatched. The way the sheep just. Roll? absolutely gets my goat A++
The amount of content you managed to fit into this is really impressive! And I LOVE the art so much!!
Unfortunately I was really confused the whole time about how the painting-pixel-matching thing was working :slight_frown:
I tried some more and eventually figured out that you're kinda just sposed to Spam similar pixels  my bad lol, i had just been going rly slow so nothing was happening
I was rly confused  I got stuck at first, running out of rope and teleporting back to the last hook, and even once I did manage to get a circle around some of the green things nothing happened :disappointed: The dialog was rly cute though and with some simplification and mechanical polish, there's a really cool vision here I can tell :cat:
there's so much going on here
Also! For a Compo submission, it's required that you post your source code. Do you have it available somewhere?
