The game is simple and respect the theme, I like it! รง

I enjoyed playing this game. The game concept is cool.

Simple concept, good execution, engaging gameplay.

The game is really well executed, the concept is simple and easy to under stand from first try. I wish there was a little less zoom when you are only a solo ship since it's quite hard to see when a flock of enemies are coming from sides or front. Overall it's a fun game, maybe just less repetitive music and little less zoom on solo ship, other than that it was very enjoyable play

The gameplay loop on this game is so much fun, I replayed it multiple time and it still felt fun to play. the rewarding feeling you get when you dodge multiple enemies with multiple ships at the same time is awesome, the only thing that needed a bit of work is the music, but the game itself is pretty solid and you should be proud!

It becomes real hard, real quick. Got to survive long enough to reach the border of the background it seems, with douzen of green thingy following me and shooting at me.

Loved it!

Very interesting! A small addition I would make is to just have the clone happen on the timer, without having to press space. I also would have liked to be able to see more of the surroundings so I could plan for the monsters, since the ship turns quite slowly. Other than that I had good fun, replayed multiple times!

The webgl version doesn't seem to ever finish loading.

fulminderek 2022-04-09 02:20

@archimagus Sorry about that, try it now!

blue-pin-studio 2022-04-09 02:54

Great game! It is brutally difficult though, my best record is surviving for a minute :P

Great game with a super unique mechanic. Took a couple rounds to get the hang of it and it's brutally hard, but fun. The sound is quite loud by default, and there is no menu before the action the first time, so maybe I'd change that. Another tip, since you have the full screen button in the unity project, you can disable it on the itch page, as it is, there are two full screen buttons.

Hm... that's a tricky concept to pull off, to be sure. But interesting!

I had a bit of a hard time to understand which of my clones is about to explode and which one is going to survive the next iteration. Perhaps, the real ship could be highlighted somehow from the very start?

fulminderek 2022-04-11 19:04

@firellon Thanks for your feedback! And actually each ship gets about 20 seconds before it explodes once it spawns, and once a ship has about 5 seconds left, it'll start beeping and flashing.

I managed to run it on Steam Deck via Proton, though for some reason I couldn't navigate the menus with mouse, so I couldn't use the settings to turn down the music, which was really loud :(

Once I understood what I'm supposed to do, the game was kinda fun to try and figure out, though I didn't feel like I had a lot of influence on the outcome - enemy ships came from random directions, and it was pretty much impossible to predict whether me turning right will run away from the bunch, or fly directly into fresh reinforcements.

The central mechanic here is fantastic, there's a real sense of playfulness to it.

Had a lot of fun playing this!

fulminderek 2022-04-13 19:59

@outfrost Sorry you had issues with the menus! You also weren't the only one to think the music was too loud, so I definitely learned my lesson there lol.

Thank you for playing as well, I most likely won't do anything more with this game, but if I did, I would probably make it so that ships wouldn't spawn directly in front of where your ships were heading

prismapunch 2022-04-19 23:51

I like the camera work, although the music was a bit too loud for my taste. It gets pretty hard too, and trying to control 2+ ships at once adds some needed complexity, very nice.
