My favorite part of this game personally is the music and sound effects. They are all very cheery and fit well with the style of game. You also did a very good job of tying in the theme! I like the idea of having to gather things and place manually make your own checkpoint system.

I really like the animation and concept, though I found myself lost at some moments. If you could lay an egg in the same nest twice that would be really neat :)

Cute idea wrapped up in beautiful art. Especially loved the menu painting and the monocle chicken. Wasn't exactly easy, those Onions are fast! Music and sound effects were on point. Well done!
I liked the art and the music but the game itself felt a little bland. Even the way the foxes were implemented was poor. They ran too fast and the animation was too jittery. I didnt quite understand the concept of laying an egg at a nest, i think its a one-time checkpoint but perhaps you should be more clear about that in the future.
The graphics with the music are the bomb in this one - I was laughing at the start already. A little on the harder side for me at least, but really fun anyway.
Great artwork! The controls are a bit finnicky at times, especially fighting onions feels a bit like a gamble at times. Overall a really good entry. Good job!
The presentation of the game is really well executed and the the chicken, fox and onion look great. The one thing I found that held it back was that I found the attack hard to control so I often felt that running away was better than fighting.
I could never manage to lay more than one egg, which meant I couldn't progress very far :( The overall art is pretty cool, I appreciate the graphics and music (that title screen !). The gameplay lacked a bit of fluidity though.

I like the story and art of the game. But controls and some animations(i.e chicken's attack animation) could be a bit responsive.
I really loved the art style, especially with the onions! The music got a bit repetitive over time, but the sound effects were really great! I do think you should probably make it easier to tell where you are attacking and make the attacks have bigger areas of effect because you can only attack left and right, and I really wish I could lay another egg in a later nest after already laying one in an earlier nest, but aside from that, the gameplay was pretty good.
Cover art nice, In game - could be little better. Game is very fun, and I really enjoyed it :) I found bug, with third chicken - collisions are not working. But still very playable :)
I like the art! The game is fun and the combart is quite tough. I prefer the mouse buttons over 'E' and 'Q' but shift + rightclick opens a menu in my browser (firefox).
Extremly cuuuute. Really like this type of games and it has some interesting mechanichs. It really mamde me smile and put me in a good mood :)))
Very nice game! The buffer between attacks may have been too long, but overall I loved the art.
cute game, really enjoyed it for the bit I played, got slightly frustrated by the 2 different interact keys and the seemingly random game overs (I assume there's lives but I didn't see a counter). Loved the art would've been cool to see more detailed animations but it translated well for everything but the fox.
Great entry. I agree with other comments it is great overall. It gets pretty challenging, but in a good way. Maybe if we had 1,2 more retries, before the big game over :sweat_smile:

All your comments are really on point with what we thought of the game but we did not have enough time to test the game enough to solve the issues you mentioned!
We thought about adding an easy mode where the onions are slower, and you can lay eggs even if you did it before!

What a cool take on the theme! The onion farmers are so cute! I really liked the egg-laying mechanic and it was cool how you had a variety of chickens with the time limit changing corresponding to the chicken's speed. And of course, I love the pun in the title!

I wished I listened when my grandma taught me how to kill those nasty onions. Now I and all my daughters and their daughters are stuck in an ever laying eggs and birth loop. But isn't it the meaning of life anyway after-all?
Didn't manage to end the game with all eggs YET, but I'm getting there. Good job on making a fun game you can easily hop-in. The mechanics preventing the player from putting an egg in multiple nests per run is a bit confusing at first, but ends up adding a nice touch of strategy in pathing. Nice **double** take on the theme also !!

Really like the concept of this game, and the art and music fit the style perfectly. I think the game is a little bit long and spread out, leading to 1) getting insta-killed and losing all progress, and 2) missing an egg early on and having no idea where it is at the end. This game is funny, pretty, fun, and challenging.
Nice title screen! I like the idea and the chickens. And the music fit well the cute mood. In fact with the eggs we are putting in the nest we just activate checkpoint. But it's working. The art is nice, but animations and movements need some polish. Collisions are a bit raugh and some more feedbacks would be nice. Anyway. It's a charming entry. Congratulation to your big team!
