Box models looks cute. Background don't match the isometric perspective and i think it would look much better if it was. Unfortunately its hard to understand what is going on and how you should play. I read your description several times and i didn't find it useful.

polinachrr 2023-05-02 11:12

there are a mictake, when i try to start the game:(

dominikam33 2023-05-02 11:25

@polinachrr You need to open it using LÖVE. If it doesn't work when opened in LÖVE then unfortunately I don't know how to fix it :(

Hi! I have never used this engine but if technically possible it would be really great if you could upload an executable version of the game :)

Got the game running no problem (Just installed love2d and double clicked the file). I really like the idea but it was super tough. Maybe an option to cycle out a package but reduce the value would help with getting stuck too quickly. I still managed to get to 5 shipped trucks on my best attempt though haha. I love the art as well. Congrats on completing a game!

This would be a super cool but I feel as though it was really confusing to understand what exactly you were supposed to do. It is a good concept though and with some more work could be really good!

nicmagnier 2023-05-04 20:22

The game looks really nice. However I was not sure how to interpret the rules. You should add the picture of the boxes on the itch page to make it clearer.

affinitychris 2023-05-05 03:42

Seems pretty neat! I was kind of getting a feel for it, but the lack of explanation of the rules was a bit tough to learn how to play correctly.

aeveis 2023-05-05 04:56

Great art! It's a bit confusing what to do though, even with your explanation on the game page. I think I shipped 3 trucks before the game stopped. It would be nice to have feedback on how much things will cost/weight, and what the current weight is so you better know hat you can do next. It would also be nice to have a reply or a better fail state so people know the game is over. keep up the good work!

As others have said, there should be an executable and a clearer description of which parcel is which. I managed to download the engine and eventually figure out the parcels, but it's still not ideal.

I like the concept of the game. There's some interesting decisions with choosing which parcel to place when, and there could potentially be a cool puzzle game here. Unfortunately, it sometimes feels like you just get unlucky and end up with unusable parcels through no major fault of your own. It would be helpful if it at least gave a proper game over so you could try again without relaunching the game. That said, I do really like the graphical style.

What a pretty game! The graphics look really awesome and the sound effects and music fit really good. I also like the jumping and throwing mechanics. It reminds me a little bit about Jump King.

Unfortunately I got stuck right after the third checkpoint, because there were some platforms to the right and a smoll one to the left. I was not able to jump that far to the right and the platforms above were too far away.

However I had a lot of fun until that point, so all in all you made a really awesome game! Congratulations :)

I'm jumping through hoops just to try a jam game.

ttu-hasan 2023-05-07 06:34

unable to visit the link

dominikam33 2023-05-07 10:04

@ttu-hasan Are you able to visit itch.io ? You can use search to find the game from there

edit: typo

dominikam33 2023-05-07 21:00

@stmatn Are you sure you didn't mean to write this under another game? ^^"

jacobingalls 2023-05-07 22:21

@dominikam33 (And those playing at home) You can make a HTML Web build with https://schellingb.github.io/LoveWebBuilder/package and then open the generated website. @dominikam33 you should be able to upload that zip to itch.io directly so folks can play your game more easily. (I didn't even know LÖVE was a thing)

As for the game, I couldn't figure out what the pattern was for which packages wanted to be placed next to each other. Like others have said, the packages look great though!

daveybb 2023-05-08 10:18

Really neat aesthetic to the packages! Quite polished. I actually also got stuck at the 3rd checkpoint.

I agree with everyone else above, in that providing a web build will significantly grow your audience.

stmatn 2023-05-08 12:18

@dominikam33 Oh no, how embarassing :[ I was in the wrong browser tab.

Unfortunately I was not able to start your game since I do not use LÖVE. Is there a possibility for you to compile it into a standalone executable?

dominikam33 2023-05-09 06:09

@stmatn That's okay! Hope the right person received their comment ^^

It is possible to export it to .exe and Web but I've never done this before (this is my second game in LÖVE) and I'm currently a little busy in real life so... if I have some free time ^^" I don't want to do this in a hurry to avoid making silly mistakes (it doesn't look complicated but just to be sure...)

blue-pin-studio 2023-05-09 06:44

Can't play the game :(

stmatn 2023-05-09 06:51

@dominikam33 Sure, take your time :) Please write a comment here and mention me when you are done, so I get a notification. I will play the game then :)

dominikam33 2023-05-11 10:33

@blue-pin-studio Sorry for the late reply, you need to run it using LÖVE. If you'd rather wait for the executable then I'll make it if I have free time (currently I still have a few non-LD related things I need to do first). LÖVE is only ~11 MB and has a portable (doesn't need installing) version but if you don't feel like downloading it, it's totally ok, I understand ^^

usenrame 2023-05-11 22:52

впеrrrёд!

wrong-timeline 2023-05-14 17:00

Rules are a bit confusing, that being said the models are super cute and if balanced + with more tutorials and hints it would be a super cool way to spend time ! I'm really seeing it on mobile
