LD47 — Stuck in a loop

Tempus Locus by MSiddeek 2020-10-14T13:28:01Z

Very good game, the loop mecanism can be confusing at first but once you pass the learning, it is a very clever gameplay; graphisms are simple but effective, same for the audio ambiance, the fact that there seems to be a background story add a little something to the progression, excellent work, I'd be down to see this becoming a full game one day

Very nice game, the concept is great, even if sometimes when pressing in rythm the belt doesn't move as expected, and last levels tend to be a bit too hard, great work overall

The Chungus Machine by Elmos Minion 2020-10-06T17:06:31Z

That was a very strange yet funny experience, I was not sure of how the coffee worked at the beginning tho; Also for those who will have the references, the voice clips are hilarious

Escape from Space by marrs 2020-10-11T17:53:28Z

The aesthetic is good, and the illusion of being stuck is well made, my only grip are the movements that could be a bit more dynamic, nice game overall

I like the concept a lot, the presentation is simple but effective, as some said, the trajectory loops get off by a few pixels each time, making the progression a bit random, with that fixed I'm sure it will become a very addictive game, great job

@adhesion Hello, thanks for the review, as you said, it is indeed based on trial and errors, the idea is to force the player to think of a less "conventional" solution to progress, and so isn't meant to be completed fast on first play, also there are some hints, but they wont give the answer right away; I'm glad you took the time to play until the end!
