Sounds like a really cool idea from the description. Not really sure what I'm supposed to do though. I can't seem to figure out how to interact with anything. It seems like clicking just skips past everything.

Halts on control explanation screen.
@soaringmoon The game works (pretty much) as intended in the fullscreen version. In the windowed view you're unable to see the "continue" button :pensive:
Game didn't load on the Ludum Dare page, but worked on Itch. I recommend to put this in bold letters and tell players to press full screen :) (or submit a fix for the contiue button)
For the gameplay: it looks really cool! And congrats on making so many levels and bosses. I found the enemies barely visible, so in the end I was just randomly shooting at anything.
I didn't like the controls, it was hard to aim, since the camera keeps turning. IMO the aim should be independent of the camera: the camera should follow the aim, not the other way round.
The drawings for the story are really impressive and well made. Congrats on the entry!
Hello everyone! Sorry, the "exit" button from the settings is not working correctly now, so if you want to play with sounds - exit the settings menu using esc
@christian-zommerfelds Thanks a lot for the feedback! Will fix some of the stuff later with post-jam patches.
Pretty nice art between levels. I tried to play with sounds but even with esc button, sound doesn't stay. It can ben kind of fun but controls are tough. Nice job all the same !
It's very atmospheric, but the game looks pretty good.
I liked the style of the game, I liked the artwork, but I couldn't handle the camera and controls. The game was too difficult for me because of the awkward controls.
A lot of bugs, but i dig the style!! Also love the idea of upgrading everytime you kill an enemy and having your upgrades reset each level: haven't seen that before, so points for innovation!
I like the story and I think the atmosphere could be developed into something strong. I find the controls far too tough. Turning is sensitive and is annoying especially when you just closed a menu and it makes you spin. I think a more traditional approach could be better for the turning.
Ha ha I love the theme of the game :) Also, unstable atmosphere in the game is so immersive!
Pretty solid game! Love the artstyle and all that glitches, very interesting interpretation of jam theme
Мне очень нравится задумка, но я в игре практически постоянно кручусь по кругу, хз насколько это норм, у меня аж голова от этого закружилась. Вам огромный респект за задумку, катсцены и графику. Молодцы!!
Very nice game, but very difficult / odd controls
The game was pretty good but i think the amazing aspect are the comics in between the levels. An interesting plot and the art for those comics was amaaaazing!
The 2D art in your game is ABSOLUTLY fantastic. I also really like the idea, but the game is difficult to play because the camera moves a lot. Is it tied to the cursor? I think you could make a fixed camera, like in hacking from Nier: Automata.
Really liked style and mood! Gameplay is fun. Strange camera movements are a bit frustrating, but that is part of the style as I understood
I was impressed by the style of the illustrations and in between the boss battles. It was nice balance between the learning the story and the gameplay. Besides the sensetive camera controls, the gameplay reminds me of bullet hell games. I really liked how each boss were unique. In both design and their attack patterns. Great work!
the consept and cutscenes is pretty cool but i don't really like the gameplay part of the game. camera spinning all the time and i didn't understand what is going most part of the time(. also enemies, main characters and spells was too little for me and it was hard to see where you need to shoot. if camera was more close to character i think it was way better, the game has a great potential though!
Really nice game, i liked you approach to the theme. I believe a tutorial of sorts would help a lot. Good job
First of all I love the main menu style, very good first impression!
I love the modifiers concept, it is nice that you took the time to use cyber security terms, also the art in general is very well done.
The only thing that I struggled a little bit is that as the character turns with the mouse if you are not a bit intentional on where do you place your mouse it is easy to turn around quite fast. It is a minor thing but it happened when the game launched and I was like... huh?
But yeah a part from that very cool, you are very talented :)
Keep it up!
I found the controls a bit tricky to get the hang of, but I think that's partly because I tend to feather my inputs a bit when I'm using keyboard controls, so I was dashing without meaning to quite a lot (although I don't think that ever really got in the way of playing - I probably should have been dashing a bit more!)
All of the art was really cool, both the sort of story images and the 3D models - the enemy designs I thought were particularly good. The limited colour palette of the 2D art was great for building the atmosphere of the game as well.
Cool style, really liked the dialogues and UI in general, but as many have noted, it's hard to play the game itself because of the camera. Anyway, good job :)
Maybe the game could have been better, but not with such a camera). I advise you to put more emphasis on pleasant management next time). But in any case, well done.
