Most fun I've had with a game during this gamejam! The movement felt a bit frustrating but it made for some really good/funny moments.

Never thought I'd play a mix of vampire surivor's with binding of isaac but damn this was fun. The audiovisual feedback is very satisfying! Being able to stop movement with a click seemed like an oversight at first but allows for better control and potentially higher skill ceiling. Pretty solid game overall, great work!
@skullpaca Did plan a slow time on the shoot with an item but lost time debugging. So implemented the stop on click. Thanx for the feedback.
The graphics is very Isaac-y, congrats! And the upgrades also feel good. :) I enjoyed the game, even though I'm not into these bullet hell kind of games. Too chaotic for me I guess ^^ Nice entry, cheers!

This game is so fun, I love it. I like the fact that you have multiple weapons with different playstyles. I'm not sure if there is a cap for max number of items, cuz at some point in the game I kept getting the same upgrades. Fantastic game, Great job.
I did the fire run XD I loved it. The only problem I had was that I didn't really feel threatened until level 10. Too few things hurt me until then. 10.png

@lelek-hunor-kadosa The idea of the blobs was to make them attack so you can’t hit them at the attack animation. Had some bugs so had to last minute remove / go back a version where there is no attack. Like the 🔥

Nice game, I love the "splash" sound when I destroyed some ennemies :D Perhaps the difficulty should increase more gradually, because I have the feeling that we're moving from a stage where we're not taking any damage to one where we're taking plenty all at once

Great entry to the jam. I didn't really understand that I had to sacrifice the things into the middle. Art looks very binding of isaac inspired. upgrading the powerups didn't really feel impactful enough to me. I had over 10 bees, but it barely did anything.

@cody-holt Thank you for the feedback. I wish i had more time for balancing/playtesting.The bee feels a little underpowerd indeed. Some other weapons are better to upgrade.

Nice game ! The movements are a bit frustrating to get, especially when you have to sacrifice a part before a new wave, but it's fun. Avoiding projectiles might be too hard for me.
Might have misunderstood the item but i think the "unsacrificed parts are turned into hearts" isn't working. Fun game still though, one thing I might have liked would be space bar to stop moving.

I enjoyed the gameplay! The movement felt smooth. Collision with the enemies felt satisfying. :) Unfortunately there was no music track. Would be good for the atmosphere. But you did all by yourself, so I think you made a great game for a jam.

I love your game so much!!! I think that this concept has a lot of potential to play around and develop even more. And I have some critique / ideas not because I want to scrutinize it, but because I really love this game and want it to improve.
I more often than not picked optional upgreades (Those are called sacrifices I presume?) on accident. I really didn't want to pick some of them, but I did so because (I thought) my weapons and abilities did so (I had too low hp and accidentaly picked -Max HP, happened too many times hahah). And when I wanted to get them, I didn't know how many times I need to tackle it to get it. And THEN I figured out that they activated on the summoning circle when stopped there. I guess I needed some guidance on that point. Adore the strategy that comes with it though!
I love that the learning curve is quite easy to follow, it's not too steep (something I should learn to do). At first I just tended to tacke everything without thinking, but with time I learned to appreciate different movement techniques (like stopping by just clicking, makes the player much more controllable). But sometimes it felt like it went from "I'm killing everything" to "Oops I lost" a bit too quickly. Maybe it's my bad though hahah
It's great that there are different builds that I can make. Personally, I preferred having a stinky aura + fire orbitals combo. Enemies are great: they are readable, they are fair and they are diverse, wow! Art and sound effects are on point, preferred to have some dynamic music on the background to fully immerse myself in this game flow, but it's a nitpick for such a game.
Man, I'm saying "I love" too much because I'm in awe with this game. I have a lot to learn from you for my projects. You rock! I see that this game gathers a lot of inspiration from Vampire Survivors and The Binding of Isaac, but I believe that with more development your game will find its own identity. Couldn't get farther than wave 10 though, but It'll be an eternity before I beat it so I'll stop here for now and come back later. Thank you for your game!
@littlegamer The sacrifice is harder if you want to sacrifice just hit it hard it wil go in more easy :)
@kujoen The parts that are spawned after a wave are the parts you can sacrifice. If jou just summon a new wave the are hearts. you can just klick annywere to stop :).

Very nice ! The graphics remind me of Binding of Isaac. I ended up finding the best tactic being moving as slow as possible, maybe try to have damage being increased with your speed to make more use of the movement mechanic ?
Great push&punch game, smashing sound when kill monsters is awesome!

I wish i could do more i had like 20 items and 12 weapons and 10 sacrifice boosts (SCOPE "idiot") Normaly i do compo but then i realised it could not be done in 48 hours even now i'm missing things i realy wanted in there. If i make it to the "top" i'll go and make some more content for this game :)

@senso You are right, I didn't have it. while replaying I did encounter one bug though, I got stuck on a unit that spawned on me, didn't die though so maybe not serious :D

Nice game! I really like the graphics, the humor and the pace at which the perks appear (reminds me on great games like Crimsonland). Fun game :)
Good amount of items and combinations to play around with. I think the game feels pretty good! I was feeling invincible and my hubris eventually got the best of me as I flew too close to the sun picking up too many minus max HP upgrades. Nailed the Isaac aesthetic too.
