Catastrophic Journey by Abregado 2021-10-07T21:06:09Z ♥ 0
Nice game, really good at building tension and keeping the player on edge. I agree with others that some more visual feedback could be nice, regardless I really enjoyed my time with this one.

Nice game, really good at building tension and keeping the player on edge. I agree with others that some more visual feedback could be nice, regardless I really enjoyed my time with this one.
Really neat take on the theme! Super chill music too.
Cool entry, I was a really big fan of the music layers and how they matched the current environment, awesome job.
Cute game, short but fun. I really enjoyed the transition effect whenever I picked up a key. Nice entry :)
Love the voice lines!
Cute game, very simple and easy to understand. I didn't realize I could eat fish my size immediately but I had a nice time once I figured that out.
Digging is a very cool mechanic though I feel it wasn't immediately obvious how it worked. I also thing the game could have benefitted from some more waves, still had fun with it though.
The layering of music is very cool, really makes you feel like things are changing the further down you go. I did encounter a small bug on the title screen where the text gets cut off. Regardless, cool entry :)
Really lovely style to this one. I love the colorful environments and the sound effects compliment the atmospheric levels well.
Very cute game. Pretty addictive too, though my finger did get tired by the end. Nice entry :)
This is such a good game!! I love the style and sense of humor in it. Really great and easy to understand stealth mechanics for a jam game too. Definitely up there as one of my favorite jam entries so far. I think I'll go through and get higher ranks on all the levels later :) Stellar job!
Interesting premise and story, though unfortunately whenever I would click the play button it wouldn't work so I would have to play through the instruct button every time. I also found myself clipped into the geometry at one point after falling. Huge props for coding slopes in a jam though, the particles are also very nice
Very solid gameplay loop here. I like the idea of enemies dropping stat ups. I do agree with other comments that sound effects would definitely boost this up a bit. I also think something as simple as blocks that you and enemies collide with could add a lot of room variety and make runs more interesting. Nice entry.
Awesome entry, extremely polished. Very impressed that you managed to pull all this off in the compo! Really fun too, I found myself playing for much longer than I planned to. Phenomenal sprites as well, hard to believe it was all done by you!
Only issue is that I couldn't get the arrow keys to work so I was limited to the base screen size unfortunately. Still definitely one of my favorite entries regardless. Phenomenal work!
This is such a cozy feeling game. The art, music and mechanics are all so charming and well put together. A real joy to play. If I had one critique of the game its that maybe the hitbox for magma could be a little more generous, as there were a few times I barely clipped it thinking I hadn't and ended up taking damage for it. Such a polished entry, amazing job to all involved, one of my favorites so far.
Funniest game I've played so far. Caught me off guard when I saw my actual files in game. Lovely aesthetic too, very genuine. I do think if this were to be expanded more types of minigames to get the key could be cool as typing credit card numbers does get somewhat old. Still one of my favorite entries thus far.
Really nice models, very detailed. I do think the blue on the health bar probably should have been red so its easier to read at a glance. Fun entry though, I enjoy the mechanic of the player changing each floor.
Lovely and unique visual style, adore the presentation. great mood as well. I do think the speed at which the text appears is a bit slow and breaks up the pacing, I think speeding that up just a tad would go a long way. Regardless a very cool entry!
Very cool concept, shifting between dirt and air feels very satisfying to pull off, and the attention to detail with the art is very cute, especially how the player sits down if you don't press anything after a while. Lovely entry.
Such an awesome artstyle, fun gameplay as well. Everything was very striking and clear visually. Sounds are great too. I do think it took a bit too long to kill enemies simply by infecting them, as the rest of the game is relatively fast paced between deaths once guns are added to the mix. I typically found myself killing enemies using the gun and then there being one enemy left which too a lot longer to kill, slowing down the pace a lot. Very awesome entry regardless, favorite visual flare so far.
Very atmospheric and creepy, love the mood of this one. I did find it very easy to get lost when turning around due to the sensitivity, which was a bit disorienting. Nice to see some scary games in this jam, nice work
Cute game, the pixel art is very charming. If I were to give any feedback I think platforms could be more likely to generate at the edge of the level, as its very easy to get a high score by just hugging the right or left wall and falling continuously. Nice entry!
Very charming visual aesthetic and atmosphere, I do feel like a few enemies spawned very close to me when jumping through a hole though it didn't happen very often. Awesome game :)
Cool game though I think the connection to the theme is a bit loose, I also think that the pulsing effect on the screen is somewhat hard on the eyes. Very cool patterns though along with a very nice, clean cut presentation

Love the vibes of this, its so bizarre, almost feels like Katamari. The Whole experience was really charming and controlling the cheese wheel was surprising compelling due to the sloped ground. Lovely stuff :>

This is such a compelling twist on an idle game! I love the slot management aspects and synergy between individual demons, it was really fun to optimize. The prime summons were a great addition as well, they added some variety into how I ended up approaching my unit layouts. The art style was great too, every design was so unique and full of personality. Definitely one of my favorite entries so far :]
Oil Creatures by krakadushka 2024-04-28T04:01:21Z ♥ 1
Great sound design and art direction, the whole game has a really striking mood. The gameplay itself was fun too, though I ended up having a hard time spotting the oil puddles for a while due to them blending into the background. Attacking the tower and seeing it change forms was a really solid way of demonstrating progress, though I found myself hoping my decisions would evolve during that process as well, since I found myself falling back onto the same strategy a lot of the time. Overall a very solid entry and I would be interested to see where you guys would take this idea in the future :]

Great sound design and game feel, had a good time playing :) My biggest point of feedback would be that stopping over the summoning circle was a bit finnicky.
gladiatorium by Jejkobb 2024-04-28T02:57:43Z ♥ 3
Lovely entry! I love the character designs and the game loop was super addicting. I loved how frantic summoning and recalling gladiators and the timer was. One of my favorites so far, great work :]

Super polished experience, I thought the fact that newly summoned die had an effect on your current roll was really cool and unexpected. I wish there were just a few more decisions I could make beyond pinning, but overall I had a good time. Great work!
