I really enjoyed this game. A really good idea, implemented in an enjoyable game. A few little hick-ups. But overall really good.

I really enjoyed this game. A really good idea, implemented in an enjoyable game. A few little hick-ups. But overall really good.
cool interpretation of the theme! an Unstable World :volcano:
The graphics are REALLY pretty, I love the visual style. Movement without transitions is rather jarring though; I'm having a really hard time understanding what's going on as things just randomly change around me with each step.
Looks really lovely - in contrast to that, the movements are quite harsh.
I recognise that rocket :D As others mentioned, some smooth lerping of player / camera from one tile to the next would add a lot, but overall was a solid game. I died a couple of times, then eventually made it through. I also loved how you turn into a sailboat when you're on a water tile, nice touch :p
I like how original the concept is. This is purely focused on where to go next and how to balance potential risk. It's quite simple but there is some good elements to make each turn interesting, which terrain is there, what risk I might encounter, where is the next village etc.
The main issue I had was the lack of feedback when getting hurt and gaining health. I understoof way too late that cillages were giving back some health wich is a crucial machanic to be able to progress.
Really good looking game, very simple but like others have said. I only realised later on I was gaining / losing health. The movement was a bit jarring although.
Love the concept and could really see the game continue to spiral out of control (Maybe could have worked in the GMTK jam too haha)! I liked that the game really gave you a feeling to push forward by giving the player a feeling of diaster!
Also, I suggest some tweening during movement. It'll make it feel a bit less teleporty! Great work!
The floor is lava, taken to a world scale! Nice work! Although, I made it to the rocket and it took off - and nothing happened XD.
Nice elegant little game, looks neat and clean, good graphics and music. Unique concept. A bit more feedback would be nice (eg player damage). Nice work!
Nice game, really good at building tension and keeping the player on edge. I agree with others that some more visual feedback could be nice, regardless I really enjoyed my time with this one.
very nice to look at, great visuals and solid audio aswell!
Cool game! I agree with previous feedback on the movement but mostly some indication on when you're taking damage. The first time I got reset I hadn't realized yet I did something wrong or used 15 turns.
My hundreds of hours of navigating on hex tile while playing civilization finally paid off! Great submission with nice low poly art and music. There doesn't seem to be a victory message when you get to the rocket and it lifts off though?
Nice visuals, but it seems to me that it would be nice to have smooth movement animation and maybe slow down the gameplay a little. Overall, good work!
I enjoyed playing and was able to pick it up pretty quickly. The 'towns' look more like campsites to me. It would be great if sounds related to valuable player feedback were prioritised (in particular, a positive jingle or similar to indicate when health is replenished) as this was not clear without the text instructions. I managed to complete the game on my second attempt, which is a great difficulty level for a jam game. Thanks for sharing!
Nice game! Pretty easy, as I managed to complete it in one go. I like the isometric graphics. Sometimes it wasn't clear where I could go and what tiles were blocking me.
Really good idea, nice and cute game, and a beautiful message !
