great game 10/10 i found no issues
Just tried it! Super fun! Music is next level
Awesome game! Really liked the sfx and the soundtrack, also like the off colored visuals gave me the synthwave vibe! Some suggestions tho, could you just push the earth a little bit more downwards just to center it? You could also replace the earth hp text with little earths that blowup each time the earth gets hit? Anyways, great game and more power to ya!
This was insanely fun for a game jam game! The only two comments I have is that the meteor spawning is a little broken as the way I died was meteors spawned on the edge or inside the earth and I took damage immediately without having a chance to shoot them. The only other thing is, since you can go inside the Earth, the best strategy becomes sitting inside the Earth, and never moving.
this game is very simple but effective. the bullet speed is just right. unfortunately this game doesnt have a lot of depth so i would not rate it a 5/5 or 4/5 but still good fun to play and provides a solid challenge with difficulty progression
funny little game - reminds me a bit of stardust from amiga :)
Solid game, my only comment is that it would be good to have a little more time to react to meteors, maybe by zooming out the view a bit. Or maybe a warning indicator to show that there are meteors approaching, that might work.
Very cool game, the art is really nice and the whole game is pretty polished. The only think I would say is to add some recoil to when you shoot, doesn't have to be very much, but it'll add a lot of game feel.
A game about meteors crashing into the earth? Gosh, how creatively bankrupt. Cough. No but seriously, this is great. That music especially is an absolute bop. Love it.
Neat game
Cool submission! I loved the clap stem in the music, really lightened the mood :P It could've used a little bit more variation with enemies and powerups, but still a solid game all around
I shot 69 astroids before deciding it's enough and the earth should have a total health value of -69. Nice.
I love this type of protect the place game, so I was really glad playing your game especially because it's a compo game and you did everything by yourself. Congrats :D
Very simple yet nice game! I really like all the visual and sound effects, without them I would've felt bored, but you did a great job!
Thanks so much for the wonderful feedback everyone! I’m glad you enjoyed playing my game and I’ve noted the criticism and advice given to me :D I hope I do even better next compo!! Again, thanks so much everyone!
Fun game! The visual and audio feedback feels great, I love the explosions of the asteroids and the earth shaking when it gets hit. Simple concept, but really well polished, which I like to see!
I'm a sucker for post processing, so naturally I loved the graphics  I really think you knocked it out of the park with the sound design, and the music was amazing especially considering the fact that it's a compo game. And despite the simplistic gameplay loop, I had a lot of fun trying to beat my high score! Good job :D

Great job on achieving this level of polish on construct 3! (and on a compo game) I use construct 3 too and was really pleased with this! I would suggest opting out of humor as I'm not sure that's what you meant for the game
Nice work on the game, REALLY additive audio.
non-game related: Give and you shall receive, at least IHMO.
Great work for a compo! Took me awhile to realize that I could move around the screen with WASD. I was happy that the meteors didn't kill the ship...maybe something to add in the future as part of a "hard" mode to make it more challenging.
Music and artwork was good, too! Overall a great accomplishment for COMPO!
I created a meteor defense game for COMPO as well, but mine has a different take on it! Please check it out and tell me what you think!
Nice game, the feedback when you shot the meteors is great and it overall has some very fun gameplay. The graphics are neat and the music is great. The only thing I thing I suggest is having a bit more variety in the gameplay, like more powerups. Also the movement of the ship feels very slippery and out of control, the movement would feel a lot better if it was more snappy. Other than that, the game was very fun!
That was fun. It felt like playing osu tho.
Nice work, solid little game! Good art, sound, and control feedback. Just two minor bugs I ran into:
1. When the mouse cursor is a certain point near the nose of the ship, the ship doesn't actually rotate, but your projectile shoots "backwards" through the ship to the rear.
2. Sometimes (but pretty rare) an asteroid will "go invisible." I _think_ it might trigger if you destroy another asteroid close to it.
Also, 2 suggestions. First, there seems to be no reason to actually move the ship with wasd, other that right at the beginning to center yourself on Earth. Maybe powerups could appear, that you'd have to go grab?
Second, clicking to fire gets a bit hard on the finger after a while. Maybe add in a "hold for continuous fire" or even just auto-firing? The "Power Up" could still have utility, as it increases fire rate as well.
Regardless, good game! I had fun with it.
And P.S. - probably you'll get more ratings/comments if you rate more games yourself!

Hey @saintchristopher777! Thanks for the amazing feedback! Yes, I'll get to rating more games, I've been busy as of late, but now I'm free, imma rate some games!
I thought I had fixed the bullet bug, I guess not! I'm not sure why that's happening lol. I was considering making the power ups physical, so you had to go pick them up, but I ran out of time!
*Very* solid for a Compo game! The visual effects are spectacular and really match the futuristic music, which is also spectacular.
My only complaint would be that the powerup doesn't have any way to actually see how much time is left on it, I had to react fast when it suddenly ended.
