Fun little game! Good Job. I like the art it's well done. I think the shooting could use a little more feedback. Like a little laser sound when the gun is firing would let me know I was firing a laser. I though bullets were supposed to come out, it took me a while to realize how the laser worked. But after I figured it out it was fine. Nice game!
Fun game! I spent quite a while playing. I like the rouge-like gameplay loop of 'loot-a-level-then-spend-that-loot-to-level-up'. The floaty jumping felt good and spacey. I lost some lives to holes that I had no way of knowing were there until I fell into them. Some background art clues of where holes are going to be would help with that. I like the music but miss sound effects, especially for feedback when the laser is hitting things. It was also really hard to know to how and where to use the drone the first time. Some kind of tutorial/prompt the first time would help.
Overall I thought it was really good. Great work!
Nice little game. I like different kinds of interactions. Would love to have some hacking mini games for regular and drone terminals or at least use progression while using. Also without SFX all actions lack of impact. But graphics is cute and different levels bring joy of exploration. Good job!
Lovely little entry, really liked the idea of the drone and how it would go off unlocking things for me. Would have liked it to help me more because I was terrible against the turrets :weary: . Good jam!
i couldnt move the drone so i couldnt get past the first level. Looked pretty promising tho!
@blue-pin-studio You right click on the drone terminals to order you drone to interact with them. Have a look at the 1st screenshot, you will see that your mouse cursor changes when you hover over the drone terminal :)

Really nice, looks good and fun to play. Add some sfx and the package is complete.

Super solid foundation to potentially extend upon! The movement felt pretty smooth and I really liked the gameplay and visuals. After the second level I felt like there was nothing new coming anymore, so I let myself get killed. I could imagine this becoming a really cool game with some more content. Especially the upgrades are a bit lackluster at the moment, some improvements to player stats like speed and damage and giving more abilities to the drone would be great. Still, already enjoyed this quite a bit as it is, good job!

Ach, I died after many levels (lost count) just falling off the bottom & was annoyed to see that I'd have to start all over again! But only annoyed because I was enjoying it! Well designed maps with the cool helper robot mechanic. It all looked very pretty. The background music nicely suited the game, it's a shame there wasn't more sound to go along with it. The Movement felt good, and nicely predictable - and floaty to fit the space vibe.
The shields felt a bit underpowered since when you use them, you lose them. It seems like the best tactic was probably just to get 5 upgrades for the max scrap value, then go all in on collecting scrap. Might have been good to have some more trade-offs there in terms of upgrade paths (but of course, it's a Jam, limited time :P).
I think general player feedback could be improved. I wasn't sure if my laser was actually 'damaging' the enemies because there was no sound or flash or knockback that make it seem like it was. I also wasn't sure if the 'hold F to get upgrade components' was doing anything the first time, because it looked quite static. I think a tiny bit of work to get some feedback to the player there can go a long way. But overall, nice entry - I enjoyed it :)
Really nice foundation here, lots of little sub systems here that are cleanly implemented and polished. I really enjoy using the robot to hack open doors, feels great.
I like the gameplay loop you've set up, going in to beat levels and upgrading yourself after. I'm also impressed by the ability to direct your drone, that's a cool unique feature. It's got some nice simple art too. Really only wish there was more stuff to do, good job!

Cute! I liked the vibe and style a lot. Definitely agree that the lack feedback (specifically SFX) on the laser made it feel kind of weird to use. Only played a couple of levels, but enjoyed the level design for the most part. Found the drone airducts a bit un-intuitive to look for though.
I don't really feel like the limited inventory fit super strongly here? Going in I was expecting a bit more of a pick-and-choose kind of thing, but the fact that you're just selecting which type of loot you want made the inventory management fall a little flat for me. Would have enjoyed something along the lines of "you have 3 inventory slots, each upgrade/scrap is a 1-5 star item w/ corresponding value" so that way I would keep exploring and maybe have to choose if I wanted a 5 star scrap item over a 2 star upgrade item, even though it was early and I wanted upgrades more than scrap.
Also wasn't really sure if $ was meant to be spent on something, or if it was just a high score mechanism? Felt kind of arbitrary, esp since there was an upgrade to increase how much $ you got per scrap.
This game was really cool, I really like how you have a drone companion although you can't do a lot with it. The fact that you can double jump and have slower gravity is also really cool. I quite liked this a lot, Great job team!
