Wow this is a great puzzle game!

I must say that the level design is very good. The entry level the basics movement well, and each subsequent room teaches one thing... Almost gave up on the second room, but i figured it out. The game has a relaxing atmosphere and is worth playing. This game made me feel like a genious and even deceived me.

I managed to get past the two violet fruit rooms.

Truly an amazing game, the graphics were simple but good, the levels were really well designed and the audio was perfect. The controls were smooth and the whole game was really good. Well done!!

Really impressive game jam entry. I loved the music and the mood. Controls feel nice and the mechanics were unique and innovative. Puzzles were also well planned although pretty difficult (at least for my brains :D ). I almost got stuck in the second level as well. The graphics were pretty simple and but rough but I think they suited the atmosphere of the game well. Good job! :)

This is my favorite entry I've played yet. Was very relaxing and I liked the mechanics. However, on the level that takes you outside for the side view, I decided to explore. I found some more trees way out and tried to harvest the fruit which lead to crash (floating point error I think) :( Will give it another go later. Really well done!

@reflextions thanks for the report. There was a mistake which lead to the player going out of bounds at that part, which should be fixed. Not sure what's causing the floating point error though

Great, got stuck on the area with the super tall trees? Unless I was suppose to throw the fruit to knock down fruit from high trees I was stuck as I scored the last one I had. If so this could be fixed with another fruit or key basket fruit pairs e.g. coloured fruit blue high fruit and blue lock baskets so I couldn't use the red fruit in the basket.

@arowx Thanks for your feedback - honestly not sure I understand your problem or solution. You’re saying to introduce another kind of fruit instead of having the tall trees?

@toomblercazz Not instead but to help prevent the player from using the fruit they have to unlock the next level.

What if the tall trees have blue fruit and the next level lock is two blocks a blue then a red. Now a player moving to this sector with a red fruit can't use it to unlock the next level yet but can use it to knock down the blue fruit and unlock the first blue lock before using the red fruit to then unlock the red lock behind the blue.

It would prevent a no fruit to throw situation.

A very nice chill game. I had a lot of fun jumping around the levels. It was very calming and I love the throwing aspect :id: nice job!

@arowx Thanks for the idea. I think for me the resource management with the just one fruit type is part of the puzzle, but I can see how it could be done differently like you say so you don’t end up in a lost position.

It's actually a pretty clean puzzle game. I especially enjoyed the mood of the game, with its simplistic graphics and experimental music. When I looked at the capsule image I thought it would be something I would play for only a few seconds, it wasn't the case. Very well done! (As I'm writing this, I left the music to play in the background, it is relaxing)

Whoa - this is a fantastic puzzle game! I really enjoyed every minute of this one. The levels are extremely well-crafted and I felt like I was learning new mechanics and tricks every time I unlocked a new area. Lots of eureka moments and brain fuzzies. The clean, sterile aesthetic is really cool too, almost like you're in an early VR game from the '90s. Excellent work on every part of your game design!

This is my favorite puzzle game of the jam. The levels are really well designed. You take a somewhat simple idea of collecting fruit from a tree - and gradually build on it over the course of the game in a way that always feels inventive. The levels never felt repetitive, and I had a blast the entire way through.

It was definitely the right idea to focus a lot of your effort on game design, because it really led to a much more enjoyable and memorable experience. Great job, and I look forward to playing your future submissions!

Really fun puzzles. It took me a while to understand that you could shake the fruits off of trees by throwing fruits at them, interesting mechanic. The puzzles were quite challenging for me, but I liked the platforming aspect of the game a lot.

I really enjoyed this one! The visuals were very abstract, with the empty nothingness outside the playable space and the dev-textured fruit. But I liked that; it kept the focus on the game objects. The background track set a nice mood as well.

I'm surprised you managed to make so many unique puzzles out of such basic (and strange) mechanics. The level where you use the purple fruit to jump from tree to tree really stumped me. So it was very satisfying when I finally figured it out! :)

Thank you for the snappy restarts. None of the levels felt frustrating to have to replay earlier areas over again, so I think you hit the right balance in checkpoint placement.

Unfortunately, the game crashed on me right before I reached (what I assume was) the end. I had just figured out how to get up to the top and was about to execute it when I got hit with an error message and had all my movement disabled. I forgot to screenshot it though, sorry. I assume I would have beaten the game right there anyway, so I didn't bother playing it all over again.

That aside, this game was a lot of fun. Great work!

@zungryware sorry to hear about the crash, it was likely a floating point error (I’ve seen that crash before), maybe from fruit falling out of the world. Thanks for the report

nice game idea. liked it with i opend the next room with the ammo harvest. We have a simmilar idea with this. The music gets a nice mood. the game crashed in one room. But Nice work guys

really great job in level design, some levels were really hard, and it was a really pleasant game to play! music is really chill and good, and the gameplay mechanics you discover little by little are good! congrats on this entry!
