Great game that's not only fun, it also allows you to be creative with island designs!
A very beautiful and relaxing game. Reminded me "Islanders" somehow, by vibes and gameplay. Minor suggestion would be is to add some kind of a more distinct challange, like score thresholds you need to achieve. But maybe it will take from relaxing part of this game. All in all - art style and sounds are very nice and it's a good entry overall!)
Edit: noticed that art was downloaded, but still a great job putting it all together)
this gme really speaks to me because i like world building and hexagonal tiles! i think the randomness of tile positioning is a good idea and makes you come up with strategies you wouldn't think about in normal place.
apart from that, there are not a real "goal" to beat the levels, or at least a score threshold like the previous comment said, that would make it more challenging. most of the time i didn't really know if my score was good or barely decent
Very cool, the tile art is beautiful, it is nice and relaxing and pretty fun to just build a unique sprawling island. A nice peaceful break from some more fast paced games. I didn't really see any target scores either so I wasn't sure how well I was doing but it was still fun to play around with it
Superfun game. Reminded me of Dorfromantik and TeenyShire. I love how created dioramas pushes you to invent small stories about this place. Lonely snow castle in the middle of lowland forest with a desert nearby? Certainly some sociopatic wizard conducts forbidden magic studies there. Also game is very polished. My only bit of critizism is that Rock and Trees tile is not very useful, as long as Mountains and Forests do not have mutual effect. Great game!
I spent way more time playing this than I expected. The simple premise, simple controls, and nice graphics set the stage for a great game. I thoroughly enjoyed the game-play. It was relaxing and at the same time it provided enough challenge with the scoring criteria to make it so interesting that I continued to plop down tiles for quite a while.
Relaxing game. Nice to have the scoring mechanics for people shooting for high scores, but I personally just liked the dopamine hit of watching the little green plus symbols whenever I placed a tile.
This was lovely and super fun and satisfying to play. Very polished for a jam, you did a wonderful job.
This game was very fun! I think it was a nice challenge to choose whether to hold onto tiles or to use them since you didn't know if they'd work or not. I will say that sometimes it was difficult to see the tile locations as they'd end up off the borders of the screen, but outside of that I thought it was a nice, fun, relaxing experience!
Very nice puzzle game. I love the pixel art and i read that you used a tile set. So, great choice! :) I like the levels most which have three possible places to place new tiles. The lower the choice is, the more random the game is. I prefer more strategy and it was often a bit frustrating to build up a nice location but not being able to place the tile i wanted to because the place i wanted wasn't lit up. Still, very relaxing and very nice with the diverse set of tiles. As bugs go: i noticed that some desert tiles doesn't score. The desert village for example doesn't score the oasis, although it is said so in the tile description.
When I approached this game, the first thing that came to mind is compatible geography. No one in their right mind would place a desert right next to a snowfield, for example. And I'm happy I passed all the levels in one sitting.
Very relaxing. I could easily get lost playing this. Good choice on the graphics and sounds, everything was well put together.
Very well crafted and relaxing puzzle game! Reminds me of several board games that I love. It might've been nice to have some soothing or quiet ambient music going in the background.
Fun game! I found the combination of the tile interactions and the limited hand size to be an interesting trade off and generally satifying to play around. However, I think the decision to not display the level bounds in the actual level hurts the player's ability to plan ahead when trying to maximize score.
Really enjoyable and relaxing. Had a lot of fun thinking how to make a compatible and good looking landscape.
