Okay, i love this game ! The drawing and the little cartoon animation look very well , but the most impressive things is the polish overall. My new favorite game of this game jam.
Really cute and fun game! The sound effects and art are wonderful, and the animations really bring them to life. A very very well polished game for sure.

It's a fun game and I like the art and the voice overs (I guess that's Tom). The only con is that I managed to drop the waterer in a corner and then I could no longer pick it up :smile:
incredible work, so very charming and polished. smooth onboarding, and nice attention to detail (like the bee proximity volume). the only thing i found myself frustrated by was not picking up seeds immediately after buying. i kept walking away leaving a seed on the ground thinking i was holding it. but very minor nitpick overall.
PS i am a huge crawl fan and would be honored for you to try my game <3

The art and the story behind it is so cute & charming! I like the feedback the player character gives and the ability to cross polinate is really very cool - I got a whole lot of turdmelons on my first attempt, yum! It's simple but fun, nice work you two!
Probably the most adorable game I have ever played. Best SFX ever; whoever was behind those needs award. I loved the art as well! The cutout style of the art and the bouncy animation added suuch a nice touch to the game. Also the truck design is epic. Thanks so much for making such an awesome game!

this game is so, so cute!! the voice acting and art were top tier >>> i'd honestly love to see an entire game in this style. i think the idea of a gardening game is really cool, and i played for a while trying to get the golden crown plant but unfortunately, i don't have a green thumb in either real life or in games, haha. i think this game would've benefitted from a book that records new discoveries (e.g. X + Y = Z) so that the player can keep better track of hybrid flower combinations. otherwise, it becomes a sort of memory game rather than allowing the player to really experiment. all in all, a great game, certainly the cutest one :) congrats to you and your son!

This game is proof that solid polish and mechanics matter. Even with child art and audio, it still plays better than any other game this jam I've played. Very good job. It's just a joy to walk around and interact. Also it's surprisingly deep with the cross pollination mechanic. It's no stress fun, aside from dealing with the turdmelons, which add just a pinch of needed conflict to craft the perfect little experience.
Very nice little game, I liked the home made aspect of th art and audio. Congratulations to the young artist and game designer! And to the dad who put all of this together!
What a game! I managed to become the king of all plants. I really love the audio and art and visuals tying it all together, nice job, team! Took me forever to get a Gemelon, I guess because things kept getting cross-pollinated from whatever I had just harvested or something, I managed to miss that particular combo twice (but concluded from how the Hattermelon was made, that it _had_ to be that combo, so tried it a 3rd time and it worked ^_^). Maybe a little game-y feedback on what pollen the bee currently had would have saved some headache there.

Tom drew a little basket for the bee to carry that I didn't have time to put in, but that could have been a good way to show the pollen the bee was carrying, since it's all guesswork otherwise ;)
If anyone does want to see the ending - in the build on the itch.io page I made a few more combos work to get the special plants. The bee pollenates in the order plants fruit, so if you get the special seeds, best to wait until nothing else is growing to plant them both so you can get the ending one.
When we put it in it felt like a bit of a hidden secret though, and the real goal is just making a nice garden to hang out in ha ha.
this is a really adorable game, i LOVE the style i mean children's drawing are always soooo good, plants are perfect, the idea is nice, sounds are incredible. great job to both of you!
Oh! What a lovely little Game! The Art is lovely, Sounds are nice & i had no bugs at all! Love that the bee keeps sitting on a flower, even tho you have picked it up :D I'm a huge fan of TomandDadGames now.
