A pleasant and calming game! It's a pity that there is no bestiary where you can see what creatures you found and how many of them there are
So chill and cute! I love fishing games, so yours is perfect for me. Graphics are simple, but efficient. Music loop is discreet. However, as a narrative design lover, i would have liked some little narrative evolution there :) Well done anyway!
Good job bro, your game shines in its simplicity, offering a beautiful and relaxing experience through its clean, minimalist graphics. The well-crafted sound design further enhances the immersion, making each moment enjoyable.
very chill and pleasant experience! i definitely agree with the comment saying that a bestiary would be a great addition

i wonder what happened to the 2 lost legs of SixArmBilly
a relaxing game, audio and graphics works well together to create mood. Wish there is more sense of achievement when I collect new creatures. Good job putting everything together! love it!
Your graphic style is simple but beautiful: Love the drawing style and animation. You made a cute and original roster of tiny creatures. Look at this little Jim!

The only issue is that it feels like a prototype: as other people said, having some kind of narrative progression would really help. But hey I love fishing games (we even made one for a previous jam) so I enjoyed yours!
This game has a lot of potential, and I mean it! I played until all the mountains ran out, and then kept going because I just wanted more. You’ve created so many cool creatures, and the simple art style is absolutely brilliant, don’t change that! Keeping it simple is what makes the game so charming. The minimal color palette is super clean and really adds to the overall aesthetic. This is a perfect example of 'less is more.' Amazing work, and I can't wait to see what you do next! Oh and i wanted to drink the beer (hope it's beer).
your artwork is beautiful. The atmosphere is very simple, but we really enjoy following this boat. Still, I would have liked to have more possibilities for exploring/fishing/acting on the boat, and to have been less of a spectator (or am I missing something?)
It's a cool concept, first one I've played so far that's also made using Construct - which is cool to see ( I'm still on Construct 2 )
Really like the animation effects on the boat / character, how everything feels kinda squishy / elastic.
Some small feedback on the fishing cycle could be nice, if there were certain distances /depths / speeds to cast, to get different fish, and some UI feedback ( timer circle / bar ) to show if fish were nibbling etc.
It is a very cute little game for this jam! Good job!
Nice experience. I can't really consider it a game in the classic sense, but it was pleasant and sometimes, that's enough. Music and sounds effects, as the chosen graphic style enhance the ASMR atmosphere.
Your game is truly very relaxing, which might be the rare relaxation experience I've had in the past few days. Perhaps as a game, it has its pros and cons, but what's important is the sense of experience. You've done an excellent job, and I'd like to say that this is a game with a bit of "Zen" to it.
Love the aesthetics and the mood, really well done on that. I think you started with a precise atmosphere in mind, and you were able to convey it perfectly to players. Only thing I'd change is to add some sort of control on where to fish (e.g., closer or more distant from the boat), so that the player could explore the kind of creatures he's able to find.
I like it! So many jam games forget all about viiiibes. Vibes are important and you nailed the vibes!
Bra å se at det ikke bare er jeg som deltar i Norge! :D
Measured and calm. I liked just relaxing and catching unusual fish. If I could drink beer after catching fish, it would be perfect, 9/10
Very serine and pleasant experience playing this one. Loved it :)
Even only with a day spent on your concepts, the artstyle and the music does wonders for the game's vibe. I could easily see the background sky slowly fading to a different color for different zones based on the other concept arts. Love Babyfin !
I liked the experience of just looking at the icebergs drifting by, the sound scape and all the funny tiny critters! :) and I'm not sure if you guys witnessed the era of "screen mates", but this game would've been an awesome one! Just drifting by folders and files, sometimes pulling out creatures unknown to science :D
Really nice game! The music, sounds and art were so relaxing. I wish I could be Stuart. And you used the minimal colour scheme/art style super well. Good job!!!
The art direction is gorgeous and it really does feel like a perfect day, with the vibrant yellow wash and the calming music. I do however feel like there's something missing--while it's fun to click and see the little creatures and their names, it gets stale after a shot while, at least for me.
Here are some thoughts:
- Narration / Story - Bestiary that also highlights the different creatures you've caught - Day/night cycles because they looked gorgeous in your post! - More in-depth fishing mechanic, maybe with lures/baits
@aviv-levy and to everyone! Thanks for taking a moment with the game appreciate it! We hear you on all those points! Due to things happening during the LD weekend, we ended up needing to ship a super slimmed down version of the game. We are working on a more fleshed out, post-jam, version with more of these elements!
Big love to ye for playing!
@james-poole totally understandable! Would love to see this expanded, it really captures a cozy vibe that reminds me of Moomins for some reason :O
Great art style, really cosy game
I got a baby faced fish.

this one was also nice

I really dig this thing of expecting the next cool creature ... the art and ambience are awesome btw
this is really a nice experience, I just wish there was more feedback or some fishing minigame like the one in dredge ... I often had no idea what I was doing to do the fishing and just went clicking everywhere randomly
The art is beautiful! Nice relaxing game, I love it <3
Love the artstyle of this game and also that it looks like it was drawn with marker ^^ At first I was a little confused because I didn't know the game had started. I clicked randomly until something happened so my feedback would be maybe some onboarding elements? Otherwise very cute game ^^
i am SOOOOO relaxed now!!! loved the hand drawn graphics and the sound is amazing.
ah what a cute relaxing game. Love the visuals so much and the music and the little guys. Plantyhead is my favorite so far.
This is a great prototype. Music is spot on and the art has a great vibe, despite/because of minimal coloring. If you were inclined to fiddle with the drawings, having the mountains reflect in the water and some clouds drifting by overhead could be a ice touch (I think a lot of game engines have reflections built into them or available through extensions or plug-ins).
Glad to see you plan on continuing this game. I think it could come out really good.
Great job! Nice visuals and nice idea! Keep making games! Your game is so wonderful!
Very beautiful art !
Loved the vibes of the game, simple and relaxing. the artstyle and music relly helped with that, both very nice! the fish names were funny too
good entry
Simple, but the atmosphere is great, and all the fish are creative and funny. I would like a bit more gameplay or challenge, but the easiness helps you enter the atmosphere of calmness. And since there are text-based games, I don’t think a complex gameplay is a must. And I like the game; well done!
Nice atmospheric picture. It turned out great!
A bonnie wee sailing trip, no notes. Vibe achieved.
