LD55 — Summoning

Tristram by Rongo Matane 2024-04-28T09:51:49Z

Incredible! I loved this game. The pixel art is superb, I had a great time in this sound/musical atmosphere and universe, and seeing the universes of the three dungeon levels with my heroes fighting before my eyes! My only regret: not being able to see what the inside of the tavern looks like! hehe Well done to the team!

Horizon Assault by Lélek Hunor Kadosa 2024-04-28T10:24:47Z

I loved the way the theme was approached, and the idea of turning tower defense on its head is very cool. Perhaps it lacks a little challenge. Want more levels!

No Tea Time for Slimes by HermitGamesmiths 2024-04-22T22:37:21Z

I really enjoyed playing this game. Good balance between the number of tries you have to make, with the frustration of failing when you're close to the goal, and the pleasure of finally finishing the level! I like the mechanics, nice game !

Blood Rite by LetsSnack 2024-04-28T10:10:26Z

I enjoyed playing this game, the graphics are great and set the mood, and the gameplay is very interesting and fun! Nice job!!

LD56 — Tiny Creatures

TINY PACK by xk_the_name 2024-10-13T12:17:39Z

Oh wow, I'm hooked! I love the concept of dice-cats :D It's a fresh way of rethinking deck building. I'd love to keep beating more enemies. Bravo !!

Fry Quest by Togis 2024-10-13T11:24:08Z

I really enjoyed this little adventure. A really funny proposition! However, I would have liked to have enjoyed it even more, with other mini-games throughout the story, like Grandpa's rescue for example haha. Well done!

Sammich by ColeSlaughter 2024-10-13T11:46:40Z

A really fun and well executed entry. By the way, your intro is just awesome !

Yase-gaeru by Alexascher 2024-10-10T22:30:12Z

I loved it ! I haven't managed to finish yet, but I'm not giving up. I'll try again. It's hard, but enjoyable, thanks to the graphics and sound that are more than convincing, bravo ! I really appreciated the game mechanics too. With my crew, the difficulty led us to share our scores on your game haha, so that's cool. Well done again!

Tiny nomads by Vhalenn 2024-10-13T12:01:16Z

Really polish ! One of the best entry i tried in this ludum. Music is very chill, i really enjoyed trying to find your tiny nomads. I'm glad I played your game! Well done Capture d’écran 2024-10-13 135925.png

G-news by Aune 2024-10-10T22:44:17Z

Really fun ! The atmosphere, sublimated by the perfect music, works well to make you want to reach the million views mark 😁 Well done !

GLOW by Fenix131113 2024-10-10T23:43:12Z

Beautiful pixel art. I liked the idea of embodying these little lights. The slightly spooky/sinister atmosphere works very well with the gameplay and the urgency of preserving the light! Well done !

Quantum Swarm by Damien Black 2024-10-15T13:50:03Z

I really enjoyed your game, bravo! More levels make you want to play. In the sandbox, there are a few bugs: the space key does both clear and sub-layer wiring. Unconnected blocks affect movement (for example, an unconnected “north” box makes all the drones go north). Or just changing the cable positions, without changing the connections, changes the effects too (for example, I had an “east” and then a “south” box that followed each other, which worked at first, but after redesigning the cables, only the “south” was taken into account). Despite this, bravo, I had fun!

La Révolution Francheese: Bonamouse by MrBananaz 2024-10-10T22:25:26Z

Fun, well done ! But I was not sure about how to recruit little mice to save all the little piece of cheese I have accumulated 🤔 (they are recruted at the same time when you bring cheese in your fort ?) And I really had a hard time directing my little Napoleon, as I was quickly outclassed by the big bad rats on my several attempts. Despite that, I had a good time and I really like your design of the fleur-de-lys in cheese hehe

Stuart's Perfect Day by James Poole 2024-10-13T11:38:13Z

your artwork is beautiful. The atmosphere is very simple, but we really enjoy following this boat. Still, I would have liked to have more possibilities for exploring/fishing/acting on the boat, and to have been less of a spectator (or am I missing something?)

LD57 — Depths

The Case of the Dungeon Descent by celia14 2025-04-09T22:00:20Z

Bravo for this narrative game! I had a really good time. The story is very gripping and the twists and turns work well. The 3 timeframes and the way you move between them is really neat. I just had to bruteforce my way forward at one point because I was stuck and didn't really understand how to get beyond the underground lake. And at the end, as I was trying to redo the story in chronological time between the different rooms whenever possible, I was spoiled (because the little image of the lich in the dialogue points to... You know who ;)). Despite these two comments, really well done, favourite game of this ludum among the different ones tested so far!

Kika's Eggsplosive Descent by kazuo256 2025-04-09T22:41:02Z

The art is very cute ! Controls are really smooth, very responsive, you can move around as you like, to stay on one line and multiply the points before moving on to the next. The tension between trying to score points and the risk of dying by hitting the bombs is really great. It makes you want to keep trying until you reach the leading board! Well played!

Tidehold by outstar 2025-04-09T17:50:17Z

I love the graphics and the audio, it really creates a great atmosphere! It's easy to understand what you need to do and the elements are presented very clearly. It's really enjoyable. I just wish there'd been an objective or something to help me decide how to expand. Well done!!

The Imptern by ChuChuGeralt 2025-04-20T19:58:15Z

Congratulations! I really like the idea of the lift going down as a response to the theme, with the shops on the floors in between, it's great!

d6 pool by Uzpykes 2025-04-11T13:45:47Z

Well done! I was a bit lost because I couldn't find the 3-ball, so I had to go back and read the rules to understand that I had to go back up to the heights to find it. And I was able to finish. It's an interesting mix of dice and billiards!

Duplo by CrozzY 2025-04-11T16:35:48Z

the art is really cool ! I love your colors and style. But interactions with the environment are difficult (the suggestion to click on the character + on the place to go is not easy to master, a possibility to move with the keys to go left, right, up and down would greatly simplify the handling I think :))

A Well to Wonderland by Mathieu Chougui 2025-04-09T17:23:28Z

Your game is so cool! The drawings are sublime and the music is really great. My main motivation for re-launching the game was to listen to the music again :D. Yes, I would have loved to see my best score displayed so that I could beat my previous attempts. And a little extra time to get through the portals, I often had the impression that the tip of the character's head was touching the portal when it reappeared, just in the nick of time. Well done! And by the way, I'm writing this review with the music still playing in my head - I don't think it's going to go away any time soon!

Cave Escape by Flinge 2025-04-08T22:15:56Z

Hey! Your concept is great. I was rubbish at Doodle Jump so I don't see how I could have scored well here :D (I didn't get over -481926). The visual universe is cleanand it works really well. The 8-bit vibe music works great too, and the difficulty is balanced enough to feel like you can go higher and do it again and again - I'm still having a bit of trouble remembering the exact distance I'm moving horizontally by clicking on the keys, despite several attempts - maybe I have a shorter movement when I press? Well done in any case, it's very accomplished!

SIRTET by Airgameboys 2025-04-11T13:32:13Z

You guys are geniuses! Quite frankly, taking the simple, familiar mechanics of tetris and turning them on their head in destructive mode works really well: it's addictive, and it's a real brain-teaser when it comes to positioning your pieces correctly! The musical atmosphere works really well with the game, well done!

LD59 — Signal

Meina's Train Cruise by Oradimi 2026-04-22T22:36:17Z

The artistic style is so cute! (Maybe show the speed limits more often to make us feel more involved with Meina? :))

FIRE WALK WITH ME by Fadex 2026-04-22T23:01:01Z

I had a great time. The activities are fun. It's nice to get feedback on what you've done with the little sticky notes that get added to the wall night after night! :)

Roids by CasualNothing 2026-04-23T21:42:37Z

The delayed signal is a nice idea but I find it a bit hard to use. I really liked the music though, well done :)

Pulse Advance by DazyLude 2026-04-22T21:49:24Z

Hi, I really loved the post-apocalyptic/sci-fi vibe! The music and visuals at the beginning really set the mood perfectly. The game itself is really nice to play: finding the right combinations is truly exciting. I did get stuck on the final boss, though, trying to make the right matches. Well done!

Meerkat Maniac by Mamboman 2026-04-23T21:52:40Z

Absolutely loved the sound design congrats ! The game is fairly simple but I had a great time playing it and competing with my friend who though he was gonna catch more birds than me. Turns out birds are super hard to catch and he failed. I should also mention the nice art and palette.

Great job !

Outcry by ACartlidge 2026-04-22T22:25:53Z

I haven't really managed to buy and sell stocks yet, but the atmosphere is incredible, and the 2D characters in the 3D world work really well. But, maybe there is a bit too much tutorial text at the beginning; maybe it could be replaced with an in-game tutorial to guide us through the buying and selling process? Thanks for sharing the documentary the game is based on; I think it's great that you did that.

Follow the signal by cupofmilk7 2026-04-22T22:09:00Z

The simple graphics are really awesome. I really liked the atmosphere they create. The idea of moving closer to the lighthouse to symbolize progress works really well! I love deck-building games, so I was happy to find one — I just didn’t quite understand the purpose or function of the white signals that “do nothing,” since the attack, energy, and heal cards don’t transform those signals but instead add new ones. (Maybe I missed something.) Thanks for this game!

Pzants by LemonChicken47 2026-04-23T22:13:05Z

Congrats on you first ludum dare entry !

I'm not sure what was the point of the pzazz but I had a good time walking in the garden with my fellow ants and providing for the colony.

I would have loved a little more feedback about how much food I collected and ennemies I defeated. Some kind of high score at the end. And a little bit of screenshake can never hurt this kind of game.

Good job :)

Cash Harbor by stayawayfrommeow 2026-04-23T09:44:41Z

A cool incremental game! It's chill, the graphics are cool, and the kraken is a nice touch. I just ran into a problem, I think: I couldn't mine coffee, so I couldn't keep upgrading the city. Other than that, well done!
