Really fun just don't know if I was trying to double jump wrong but it only worked sometimes
The gameplay is nice but the double jump doesn't work half the time which is irritating when you only have 10 seconds to complete the level.
I like the game play. The puzzle elements are not too difficult, and I can actually complete it haha. I also find the tutorial levels very helpful, which is rare in jam games.
@papaya Thanks for your respond.
This a fun little puzzle platformer. I like the simple visuals, and the music is okay.
Nice one, there's a bit of a problem with double jump, it rarely works, i assume you had puted the input check inside of fixed update, never do that, always check input in update, because update runs every frame, every frame there's a input check, fixed update is well fixed, so on the frame you hit the jump button, there might not be any checks running, this issue is especially apparent when the player has a high hz monitor, also would be cool if the button would press immedietly when stepped on, would give a bit more feedback
I think you have a great concept here, but like @triangle-point pointed out, sometimes the jump/double jump mechanic is not working it seems like? I managed to pull it off once. Maybe I missed something vital to understand how it worked and in that case I'm sorry.
I really enjoyed this one! The second to last level (I think) was really quite challenging and required some really efficient use of the 10 seconds! The controls are tight and the level design very intriguing. It reminds me a great deal of Echoshift. Nicely done!
@ideaspersecond Thank you
Liked the simplicity of visuals and the smooth moves! Nice colour palette! I got stucked too son... maybe because thatnon functional double jump?
As others have said, double jump rarely works, which makes it hard. Good game otherwise. It is interesting that buttons don't reset. You could make some really cool levels with this mechanic.
@sharploaded Thank you
Double jumps doesn't work every time but cool idea!!
This was a nice challenge - like others have said, using the reset mechanic more could be cool, a bit like Braid or other time travel style games, so some button / switch states stay , while others don't etc.
Also, I struggled at first as I didn't go full-screen, and I didn't see the little blue button to maximise, so I played the first few levels with scrollbars haha
I had no problems with the mentioned double jump, on the contrary, i could "walk up the walls" with that jump.
Smooth gameplay, solid little platformer :thumbsup:
Nice platformer, controls felt good. One puzzle actually tripped me up with an anti-gravity button at the start when it wasn't needed. I would suggest polishing the visuals and the music, the mechanics are definitely solid.
Awesome puzzle platformer. I enjoyed my time with this, despite the short length. I would have liked to see more uses of the reset, and I also would've liked a reset button, just so I'm not waiting just to reset to the beginning. Other than that, the graphics are nice, the game play is solid, and overall the game was good.
Fun little puzzles. The embed here on LD doesn't have the right dimensions, but the one on itch was playable if I maximized my window. Unity probably has some export options to deal with keeping aspect ratio when embedding--I know Godot does, but I haven't used Unity in a long time.
FYI I did hit indeterminate states where I had both won the game and the timer ran out. I got a respawn animation and then the level ended.
I like the simplicity of it and the way you introduce new mechanics as the player progresses. I think the jump might be a bit broken though as I was able to basically fly by repeatedly pressing jump which sort of removed the need for the gravity changers. The puzzles were short and sweet which I really liked.
Merhaba! Sevgilerle.
I checked this out on my stream! [Here's a link to the VOD](https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1619345236?t=5h06m00s)
had some frustration with that one maze-like level, but the rest were really cool! thanks for sharing :)
Actually quite good little puzzle game, but because of the double jump some times it is difficult to use the extreme level that requires double jumps is difficult.
I enjoyed it very much, great game!
Elegant game focused on gameplay. I really enjoyed this puzzle game. I struggled a bit with the double jump, but that wasn't going to stop me from getting to the end. Thank you so much for this awesome entry!
Not a bad game. However, to be honest, I didn't fully understand all the mechanics. Stopped at a level similar to a large comb. There you have to jump very quickly to the top through a bunch of walls. Cute colors, fun to play. Good job!
Nice Work!I like the game UI, and the music is great! But some levels that I can't jump over,Double jump Failure.
this platformer is cool, art is nice and overall game is polished for a compo game. however the fact that the double jump sometimes tends to not work makes some levels extremely hard to finish. however, nice work overall!
Cool game! Wish there was a visual to keep track of the 10 seconds, it would give a sense of urgency as well
I'm not sure if this was just on my end, but the music seemed to get quieter whenever another sound played. This made the experience very disorienting. The game also ended up being frustrating, since I'm not sure if the grounded check worked on every landing, since the doublejump worked only every now and then.
Simple and nice little game with over time increased difficulty. Good job ;)
That penultimate level really messed with me, but other than that this was a nice entry. Thanks for submitting! Here's the VOD: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1625333438
I like puzzles, and especially in a simple style :) Went through the game with pleasure. Good result!
The simple aesthetic was a nice choice to make it clear what objects there were to interact with as either puzzle or speedrun :) I think I cheesed one of the levels because it seems like the door doesn't reset on 10 second reload? Perfectly paced puzzles for a jam entry though, well done!
Love the art and music. Game feel is very good too . A bit to short to see the full potential of your current game mechanics . Did not see what the 10s realy bring to the table . But nice game overall . Hope to see you next time because the foundation of this game was really solid.
