A bit tricky to use the phase ability at first but nice game overall
Hey! I´m here! Really fun game! i love the pixel art you did for it, and the killing is really fun too! But if i would say something about it, is that the sounds are too low, i know you probably did it so that when there´s a lot of people being killed, it wouldn´t be too loud, but i think you lowered it WAY too much, i had my monitor´s volume on 24% and windows on 100%, and even then i only started hearing the sounds when i killed, like, 20 guys at once! So yeah, that´s the only thing i would complain about it, but overall pretty fun game!
@jkgames thank you so much! The sounds were added pretty late in development, and I noticed the sounds were quiet, but I wasn't sure how to make them louder. The music was drowning them out, so instead I just made the music quieter. I would rather have them both be too quiet than having to put the music too loud with the sound too quiet, but it's definitely a problem I'll fix if I make a post-jam version :)
I like the art in game a lot! The menu text is a bit hard to read, but the gameplay was fun.
@dkdwrek Thanks for playing! I agree, the font is pretty difficult to read; I picked one from OpenGameArt that I thought would suit the art of the rest of the game.
The game has nice art and is fun! the problem was i kept on getting stuck in the ground
@mangoworks Thank you! I agree, getting stuck in the ground is pretty annoying, and that's the main reason I added the phase through ability so it was possible to get unstuck :)

I love the concept of this, and I think the phasing ability is really fun and unique. There are two issues I found: 1. when you jump onto the side of a block it jumps shorter than it would otherwise, meaning you have to rely on landing on the top of the block, making it a lot more difficult, and 2. because the controls/movement was very sensitive and fast, it was difficult to actually complete the jumping/parkour. Like I said though, this was a fun game, and I think you did a great job!
fun, i had a little hard time swinging the scythe.. somehow it wasn't clear to me when i would connect and harvest. Overall good job!
great game! I like the graphics and the music that is appropriate with the theme of the game, the controls are responsive and the mechanics is easy to understand, the player's weapon is cool as it is thrown and comes back like Thor's hammer, there are some areas that I was stuck or behind the platform, but overall I enjoyed playing this one! keep it up!
@ss9 I thought the movement was fine, but all my friends agree and say that the movement is too fast. I guess I was too used to it from development XD
@nikolaj Yeah, I set up the hitbox separately from the animation so it's a bit off.
@ironhandmd Getting stuck in the ground is the main reason I added the phase through ability; because it fit the theme and because it would allow the player to get unstuck :)
Nice game. A tiny bit clunky at times but I still enjoyed my time. Good job!

i liked the art and scythe animations are cool with the particles! game is simple, but it doesn't need to be complex to be good so don't worry! simple concept and execution are powerful. however, controls felt a bit strange, and the phase through ability was bit tricky to use. nice entry tho!
I typed a comment on the Itch.io page but I also want to say something here too. I really like how this game looks and sounds, the physics could use a little work and so could the end game goal. Besides that I really love the passion and work you've put into this! I know this took a lot of hard work and time to create and I'm really really proud of you for that. Keep doing great work. -Kjax
Fun fast gameplay, but just wish it was slightly slower or maybe a more zoomed out camera might have helped
Nice game, but platforming is a bit hard for me (movement is too fast I guess). Also at some point of time, I fell under ground

@smeljey yeah, that's a pretty common issue which is why there's the phase through ability. i just got annoyed at restarting the game every time i got stuck in the ground during playtesting
The character is a bit tricky to move/jump/attack, it's really hard to move around without falling. The level design well done but could be polished. I loved the visual effects and the move of the scythe. UI simple to understand well done !
Oh! great entry! I really loved the sprites, and game feel. 5/5
