Very good game, sad to see so few reviews so far. Honestly a lot of talent has gone into this, the Graphics are a Highlight. gg

Wow excellent work.
This is awesome, great job. Id love to see a downloadable version :)
@locksmitharmy Thank you! Downloadable version for windows is now available in the description.
You rock!!!
Fun artstyle!
Really great entry. Loved the music and the artstyle combined with a solid gameplay. Well done to you !
Really fun concept and already has a ton of depth already, good job ^^
Very neat aesthetics altogether! Loved the graphics and the combined music vibe of it. Game-play was fun and simple, but a lot of room to expand on which is perfect for a jam game, very well done!
This is awesome!
Love the aesthetic. Having the dice as 3d objectives really gives a satisfying feel to resolving the rng
Wow, amazing! It was counter-intuitive at first to "lift" the dice, I always tried to throw them back on the table, but then I got the gist. I would also love to fully recover after each round, so that my previous efforts are not a punishment - but anyway, this game is one of the best I played so far - I can see this as a full-blown steam release already :smirk:
loved it
Short but sweet game. Could probably be expanded into a bigger project.
A mix of Inscryption and Lost in Random, with stunning art style and funky dice mechanics. With a fully implemented level design and flatter learning curve, this could provide fun for hours.
This is delightful, and deserves to be expanded into a full-release. Seriously fun already. If this was the free preview of a larger game, I'd buy the game.
If you were planning to flesh it out, some features I'd like to see:
- Sort your available dice sides by cost, then by type.
- Stack duplicate dice sides.
- I encountered some graphical issues when repeatedly picking up and dropping dice sides in the available-sides-tray, when I was trying to manually sort it. The dice side in position zero ended up bugging out and displaying a mish-mash of two different images. (Graphical issue only; functionality not affected.)
- I had one dice roll land with a die propped between two others on its side. When the dice teleported back into their row, the tilted die rolled out of its square. (Graphical issue only; functionality not affected.)
- Preview what the "Boost" will do, when you're rearranging your dice. It took some trial and error to figure out what effect Boost would have on different dice. I think it worked normally for simple damage, healing, or armor. Split about 50/50 on bites, and didn't work at all for Charm, Slash, and Boost? I actually like that you can't chain-boost the same die, but it'd be nice to know that up front.
- An option to review what's on your dice during a round. I remember going "oh, I think Basic Attack is pretty bad for this die, but what else did it have? Can I even get anything better?"
- The "charm" hourglass on enemies persists a little too long; it makes it look like they're going to also skip a second turn. It should clean-up the charm icon when you start a new turn.
- The "bleed" debuff icon should list both damage-per-turn and turns remaining, not just turns remaining.
- I think you should probably play a round with simple pre-made dice before you do your first customizing, so there's a little less to learn up front.
Some misc. feedback, not really suggesting any specific change:
- It was counter-intuitive that you can stack HP above your starting amount, which surprised me.
- It was unclear how Whips worked. I assumed Whips work like "two attacking dice (attack, arrow, bite, slash, whip, maaaaaybe armor break?) need to have been played earlier in the current round", but I can think of several other consistent interpretations. E.G. order doesn't matter, or maybe the whip counts itself and so only needs 1 other, etc.
- It was mildly frustrating to have a couple dice "stuck" at 19/20 and have no 1-cost options to fill the last point.
- The depth of customization strategy was pretty great. At first I thought "get rid of all the 'nothing' sides", then "wow, silver sides seem under-budget across the board", but then I thought, "actually, make a big difference between the best and worst side on a die, so the rerolls matter more -- which really does make 1 silver better than 2 basics". Very cool!
@vivian Thank you for your in depth analysis and feedback! We plan to do some post jam version and explore the possibilities of this game idea and your feedback is really on point. During game jam we took several shortcuts due to time constraint which led to worse user experience, hope those visual bugs didn't disturb your game experience.
Ran into some minor bugs in play but to be expected for such a short dev time.
I really like the 2D opponent in the 3D world, I like how the dice animate and the atmosphere was on point.
I think if you wanted to make this into a full game as you eluded to in the other comment it needs something to make it stand out.
I wish you all the best pushing forward with it, I enjoyed my time playing it!
Behold, my mighty whip!!!
this felt insanely polished, wow :O
Game is really nice. Liked customization functionality of the dice. Have not seen this mechanic anywhere else. Super polished and unique. Thank you for this game
Have a nice Jam!
Very good game love the graphics style and gameplay reminds me of buckshot roulette. I just think the dice wich boosts the next dices stat doesn't work on all dices like the whip or the life steal one. Im not sure tho.
You packed so much into this jam. Cool game. I like the aesthetics. I have one comment - dice hitbox was a bit weird and it was sometimes hard for me to click on it for rerolling.
Beautiful game, I don't really see the theme, everything is so polished, nice clean interface, you killed it!
I enjoy this game and dicebuilding is a fun concept! Adds a bit of gamble + strategy which is great. Nice visuals and sound. I wish it was easier to immediately tell which di had which faces from the rolling screen.
Great game! Loved the strategic depth and the aesthetic.
Awesome game. Crazy level of polish, core mechanic is bonkers and I like the roguelike aspect of choosing additional dice sides. 10/10!
Really good! Very polished and the mechanics are all in already, you'd think this was a game already on Steam!
Damn, this game is f#сking awesome! Artstyle is so cool...
Very cool game! I liked the vibe, it feels very cozy and tactile.
This game was *really* good - I would gladly pay for a full roguelike version of this.
If you do expand on the game, one thing that I was really pining for while I played was an ability to see the other faces on the dice I was rerolling - There would be times where I would have two dice which rolled the same attack, and I wasn't sure which die would potentially give me a new ability that I needed if I rerolled it, and which one I should keep
I also either didn't fully understand how the charm ability worked - I would see the hourglass and expect an enemy to skip their turn, but I think it was a holdover from the previous turn? It's a minor UI quibble, but it definitely confused me!
Overall though, this game was awesome - I saw someone streaming it, and I had to go try it out because it looked so cool. Amazing job!
Edit: I died on the final boss before leaving the above review, so I have a bit more feedback after replaying the game. There was a strange friction with the way the dice rewards worked - After a few fights, I stopped caring about rewards, because I had a setup that worked well for me, and because of the way the cost system worked, I wouldn't be able to fit any new faces onto my dice - There was no real path towards upgrading any of my dice after I had spent all 20/20 points for each of them; even if I got a better face, I wouldn't have the spare room to place it anywhere without taking apart my entire build
I also ran into one unfortunate game-breaking bug on my second play through. The game got stuck with an empty table after one of the fights, and didn't progress any further. During the previous fight, I had also ran into a weird freeze after rolling my dice - Two of the dice were resting against one another and the game didn't seem to register that they had finished rolling, but I clicked and dragged one of them and everything jumped back into place.
Either way, everything still stands - This was an amazing game, great job with it! :)
@koolruz Thank you for the valuable feedback it really motivates us! :) We are sorry for the bugs, but glad that you finish the game despite them. I would like to know, who was streaming it?
I managed to kill the king. I noticed that bleeding is overpowered and that beating the final boss ultimately rests on going into the final battle with a lot of health and armor. Your luck in the final battle depends upon the luck you had in the previous battles due to the health and armor carrying over, which perhaps is a flaw, although it also provides a pleasing difficulty curve if you're into hard games. I think that if your health and armor was reset every battle it would make the latter battles less dependent on how your previous battles went and the game would feel very different.
Also, it's a shame that multiplier sides don't stack. Or do they? It didn't seem to me like they do but correct me if I'm wrong.
I've encountered a few graphical bugs such as: a die touching the table in one corner and resting upon another die in an unstable position rolled off the square when teleported and that the dies ignored the "candle" collisions when rolling.
A critical gameplay bug I've encountered was that at one time a whip side registered as an empty side on the hover tooltip.
Overall, the graphics and music are nice and fitting for the mood of the game and the gameplay is very fun, with the innovative mechanic of dice customization and rearranging with the order of the dice mattering. Humor could use some work with more punchy lines, but that's a writing aspect. Great job and congratulations!
@andriybyelikov Thanks for comprehensive feedback. We know about problems with the dice physics, but were not able to fix it ultimately in time.
@karlo5o It was CookingWithSpices - He was playing submitted Ludum Dare games, and I think someone recommended yours when the queue ran out :)
Really nicely made! It looks good, and the combat system is fun. It's also the perfect length for a jam imo. The point limit per dice is a bit unbalanced imo, I didn't care much about what I unlocked since I couldn't use them anyway. Great submission!
This was really fun already, great job! I only got to level 5 and got my butt kicked by the trio, but I probably failed by not listening to the manual's advice of not overextending and investing in attacks instead. Would be fun if, in the future, dice "powers" total could be expanded, for a cost of more powerful (and costly) sides. Loved the asset work, the icons for each of the side were really slick :)
if you release a full version of this game, i'm buying it for sure! i love the deckbuilder (should i say dicebuilder?) aspect, that reminds me a bit of "die in the dungeon" except your dice faces are better in my opinion. i was not a big fan of the visual aspect of the game (mostly the fact that it mixes low poly 3D and 2D pixel art, which are two styles i like but not together, but that's only my opinion and i won't punish your game for that in the ratings don't worry)
really great job to your team for making a game i enjoyed playing and would enjoy more if you continue working on it :D
Really like the art style and the music! Getting to choose dice improvements adds some replayability which if expanded upon would make for a really cool game. Grats
Great idea, as people have said before, would love to see this be a full game! I would love to see some VFX to visualize dices effect and make it super satisfying. Really cool overall, well done!

It's one of a few games I actually played again to try to win. It was quite fun to play when I understood how it all works.
Visuals and music are good. Love how you mixed 2d pixel art and 3d.
The game looks quite complete.
The only thing I wanted to also be present - upgrading of max cube cost capacity. Because I make a few changes and after that just stick to those cube sides. So the price seemed to me a bit useles(Dota Underlords vibes from that UI part). Maybe it was just my fear of change though :smile_cat:
Good job!
(If you are making any other PC games please let me see :)
Super polished! I don't really have any critiques, I really liked everything! I can see this being a full game on steam! very good entry!!
Wow! Super style! Great deep game.
This is a fantastic entry. The dialogue, UI, set design, artwork, dice customization, and rules of the game itself are all really good. Audio and music are great too! I spent way longer than I meant to playing this. Excellent entry and great work you guys! I'll be bookmarking this one to play again.
@ruslana Thank you so much! We thought about the capacity upgrading, but didn't get to implementing it. If you are interested, then look here https://smartcreative.cz/#, all our games are described there :)
just finished the game and I really love the idea and concept!
Dice battlers remind me a bit of Armello, and I had a lot of fun strategizing around the dice faces
although I do have a gripe with the use of the theme, it feels shoehorned in. The enemy summoning people to fight you can be said as flavoring but the rest of the mechanics don't give me the summoning feel at all. Feels more akin to GMTK 2022's theme of "roll off the dice" if you get what I'm saying.
Negativity aside, I would love you fleshing this out further into a full game!
This is very cool. I love the idea of customizing your dice to fight with them. Music is also very catchy and fits the artstyle and mood. Unfortunately i had a soft locking bug where the game wouldn't progress after the end of level 4.
@karlo5o Cool! Thank you, will check them out :)
This was a very nice game to play. I love the inn music, the graphics, the dice. There is a lot of potential in this game and I would love to see how you expand on it (if you will). There were some bugs, but nothing major. Sometimes when dragging the dice to rearrange them the field would not light up. I wasn't too sure about what the multiplier face did exactly. I would expect it to add 2 or 3 to healing and/or damage but I couldn't confirm this while playing. I'm amazed at how much of the game you were able to add in the short time we've had to build a game. The updating your dice mechanic is cool and you even managed to add inbetween rounds upgrades. If I had to be nitpicky I would say the summoning theme is a little bit thin. That doesn't take away from the fact that this game was VERY fun to play and I'm interested to see how this will be progressing further! Amazing submission, maybe the best I've played!
Awesome game! The idea for dice based deck-building is fairly unique, and when combined with strong audio and graphics, it all comes together to build a great submission. Sadly I did end up soft locked at floor 3 as the game refused to progress after beating both enemies. I believe it was caused by me hitting the end turn button shortly after beating the 2nd enemy.
Bugs aside, your game was really cool, would love to see it worked on more!
Awesome dicegame! Great art & audio! Love the customisation of dice faces with each face costing points forcing you to balance the dice. I wish it was possible to previous in-game the faces of each dice (instead of having to go in the dice menu) so each easier to choose which dice to keep and which to reroll trying to get a better result! Great job!
Great game. I really liked the mechanics and gameplay. I see a lot of potential in this game if it's further developed and add more mechanics. I would happily buy such a game on Steam. The graphics and atmosphere were very enjoyable. The only issue I had was with the cube's face list, they would sometimes disappear. It would be nice to have a function to remove all cube faces at once. Excellent game for the jam!
Super impressive entry, that I'd love to see developed further! For some more strategic depth it would nice to see the enemy moves before deciding which dice to keep and which to reroll. It could innovate a little more on established dice builder concepts, to stand out amnong other games in the genre.
One of the best games I've played in this jam! Simple to understand and very addictive mechanics and great mix of 2D and 3D, the game looks great! I'd also love to play a full version of this!! Congrats!
Great game
I love it, great entry
Very interesting game with a good length and a polished feel. I enjoyed my time playing it. Congrats for your entry!
Actually a fantastic game. The graphics, the music, the fun in the game, everything is on point. This can easily be developed with a storyline, different places to dice fight etc. and just as easily I can see people buying it. The only thing I noticed is that when you reroll a dice, that dice doesn't actually "roll", it turns around in itself, so many times you have the same face as a result and not something at random. I don't know if I explain that correctly, let's just say that, that kind of rolling isn't permitted in casinos and real games. Anyway, HUGE congrats, fantastic game.
Hey, this is an amazing game! I really enjoyed playing it, and I feel there's almost no need for polish! Really liked the graphics and music and the gameplay was suuuper addictive, oustanding, sincerely!
@dimi-kaye Thanks for the rating. The reroll is really "random" but sometimes the randomness leads to the horizontal rotation. I hope it did not happen everytime. :)
I've encountered a few bugs Untitled.png I've had dice visuals and what they actually do not match up multiple times. Either that or the +5 to next dice does not work with "Weak Bite", as I healed only 1. Same interaction with the cleave dice, the additional +5 did not get added. I've triggered a bug where I was able to perform the same turn with the same dice twice in a row. Once I got stuck for ~2 minutes waiting for the enemy dice to land. I'm guessing though you aware of most of these. The gameplay itself is quite fun, it's a change of pace to have healing be the strongest build in the game (or so it seemed). Had a fun time, perhaps a few usability improvements here or there but time is short  Great entry and I did have a fun time.
Reminds me of [Slice and Dice](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1775490/Slice__Dice/), but the dice editing mechanic is unique and generates a lot of interesting choice. Maybe there should be a way to increase the point cap throughout the game? I had a lot of expensive dice sides, but I didn't have a lot of opportunity to use them. Also maybe it's worth to display your max HP somewhere, if you can't heal above it? As already mentioned in the comments, heal/armor builds are dominant, which is pretty unique by itself, but sometimes you want to destroy those enemies faster ahah. Overall, it's a very solid submission, congratulations!
What an amazing game! It looks very polished. Insane work!
Surprisingly addictive game with a charming style. It's just a bit slow, the ability to skip animations would be nice.
Really cool game, love the graphics and the roguelike dice-building mechanics. As others have said, my main issue was the dice cap making it hard to use some of the expensive dice sides I picked up, but still an incredibly polished game. Amazing work, going to probably return to this one after the jam and play some more.
Really cool art style, it grabbed my attention immediately. Mechanics work really well, though it would be nice to know whether an effect will be impacted by the "+2 to the next die" effects, as it doesn't seem to increase the number of skipped turns for example. Perhaps a warning should be added when a dice will have no effect?
I also encountered a bug where the combat froze. I killed an enemy whilst the remaining enemy had a skipped turn.
Outstanding entry! Presentation was on point :) Simple, but intuitive and addictive game loop. Thank you for the great time I had with this game :)
Art and sound are great, the 2D characters in a 3D environment are great, and the audio definitely gives that tavern vibe. Very addictive gameplay and would definitely play it if it was a fully fleshed out game.
This entry blew me away! Great graphics and audio, addictive gameplay, and the mood is fantastic. I had only one issue while playing on my second attempt where the UI disappeared and I couldn't read the descriptions, but it came back after a round or two. Nice job on this one!
Had a lot of fun, finished level 5 and found myself wishing I could keep playing! Two super small things that might've helped my initial understanding are 1) a counter for # of turns of poison remaining, and 2) clarification that boosts do not chain/stack. Great game!
Very nice tactile feel to the game and dice! The core gameplay is nice and snappy. I think I'd want some more synergies and crazier effects in the game, but I've also always been more of a Monster Train than Slay the Spire guy...
Really good graphics and music as well, great job on this entry!
