This is the best I've played so far! The audio was INCREDIBLE. I could listen to the level changing sound effect over and over. Very satisfying. Also brilliant mechanic. Terrific work.

Improve clarity of the throwing distance maybe? I'm not sure how to critique this. It is just great.

majadroid 2019-04-30 18:42

The idea and the gameplay are realy nice. Althoug graphics and sound macht well together. It would be nice to play more real levels.

elmos-minion 2019-04-30 18:43

Really polished! Game mechanic with the ghost is unique. Interesting take on the theme!

nelson-william 2019-04-30 18:44

@kaleido Thank you so much!

@majadroid Yeah, I wish I could've made more interesting levels.

@elmos-minion Thank you :)

mrdrakert 2019-04-30 18:45

Interesting take on the theme! Well done graphics and puzzles which require you to think. And the buttons are similar to the one in "Please don't touch anything" Nice entry!

Wow! I didn't know such a good game could me made within 72 hours! The amount of polish, music, levels, mechanics and sound effects were incredible and fit so well together. Unlike the other games which just include a wall of text, the tutorial was very good! I hope you fix the minor bugs, add more levels and release this as a full game! Best one I have seen so far!

flaterectomy 2019-04-30 18:52

Some very cool puzzle mechanics! You captured the theme in a way that's just a bit beyond the obvious and the game came out pretty unique. I dig the art and the music. All in all, a very solid entry.

gabrielnied 2019-04-30 18:56

Really nice game, just had some problems when trying to reach or use something sometimes, nothing that big, but made me restart a few times. The sound and art are amazing, keep the good work!

salamander 2019-04-30 18:59

Love the graphics and sound, the puzzles were fun, very polished.

spidamoo 2019-04-30 19:04

This is a very interesting mechanic, it forces you to bend your mind to think what can you do to beat a level, makes it a solid promising base for a puzzle game, like Portal and such :) Everything looks polished and works well together.

zanar 2019-04-30 20:03

Nice but I feel so guilty killing all these NPC xD

raffe 2019-04-30 21:02

Yooo! Really innovative! Didn't play the whole game quite through tbh. I know it sounds stereotypical, but this is a really polished and nice one! Graphics are pretty cool, and the mechanics didn't seem to have any problems in them! Well done dude!

firellon 2019-04-30 21:02

Could not play in web version because neither WASD nor arrow buttons did not work. Not raing right now, but please write back when this bug's fixed, would be glad to play! Music's quite nice

nelson-william 2019-04-30 22:07

@firellon Hi there, I've tested it on Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox (on Windows and Ubuntu) and had no problems with those. What's your setup?

jesusache 2019-05-01 22:17

Cool puzzles! The controls are the smallest bit of finicky sometimes, but its super satisfying just chaining all the events you need to do before your life kills you. Cool pixelart too!

doggieballoon 2019-05-01 22:28

Good project. How did you get this level of polish so fast?

I think some of the levels can be tweaked just a tiny bit for difficulty adjustment, but other than that, no comment.

taqoshaq 2019-05-02 03:47

Alright lets get you over that +20 review line!

What a great mechanic! I was sad to see that it was over so soon! In those few levels you did such a great job expanding on it with a good difficulty increase with each subsequent puzzle. Bravo!

nava 2019-05-02 04:03

I'm a total sucker for puzzle games like this. Everything feels right in this game. Well done!

Also, it didn't feel like it's too short for an LD game! I wasn't expecting as many levels as there are in the game. :)

paulhocker 2019-05-02 04:13

that moment when i realized i had to kill that person to get another life -- brilliant -- i would suggest that you cannot be killed by the bomb in your spirit form -- thanks for making this

nelson-william 2019-05-02 04:39

Thank you all for the kind comments! I'm glad so many of you enjoyed it. I'll try to play and rate your games as well.

spacemonkey 2019-05-02 18:38

Best use of the theme I've seen so far and a very cool puzzle game! Love the art style and the music too. Very creative. You got a new follower on itch ;-)

raymoclaus 2019-05-03 02:34

This was pretty solid all around. It was polished and it had a good amount of content considering the type of content. I don't know if the timer was even necessary for the puzzles you had, but you could always utilise it in future additions.

hadi-danial 2019-05-03 19:51

Very interesting mechanic and take on the theme! I absolutely loved it! Great level design as well!

Hey wow, I'm really impressed with your puzzle designing skills! Your levels did a great job of teaching the player the basics of the mechanics, and then using the levels to wordlessly teach them the nuances of what is possible (using someone else's life to revive your body, picking up someone's life even while you're in a human form, etc.).

I will say that *some* of the rooms required some pretty precise actions, which was sometimes frustrating. For a puzzle game like this, figuring out the solution should be the tricky part, and actually executing the solution should be painless. I had to try a few times to throw a bomb to hit a button *and* kill an NPC that was walking in circles, which was frustrating because I knew what I had to do, I just had difficulty doing it.

I wouldn't expect that kind of level design polish in a weekend jam game though, and what you already have here is beyond exceptional. Absolutely nice job!!

bentebent 2019-05-07 10:24

I'm so impressed by this game, the design feels incredibly trick, it looks great and is overall just a fantastic submission. Well done!

Really interesting idea! Great interpretation of the theme, and even though the game itself is short, the polished graphics completely make up for that. Very well done!

tommyflower 2019-05-21 08:03

Great unusual idea! I liked the tutorial a lot, prefer a game that is, as you say "mostly tutorial" than games that leave you alone with a thousand controls and unclear goals. The graphics is consistent and nice and most of all this was real fun to play. Happy I discovered it at the very last minute!
