Listened to the soundtrack in the beginning - 5 stars) Feelings from the game are very pleasant. I would like more lives during one game session.

@syo I forgot to put the credit for the soundtrack, it's fixed now !
Well since the game is short, I was afraid that more lives would make it to easy
Nice game ! The music and the visuals are very cool ! I really like the concept :)
Sound track was nice, calming and pleasant to listen to. One of the few I haven't had to turn off part way through. It was a good pick for it.
The graphics could be a little jerky under certain situations when swapping from one state to another, particularly the bird. I felt that it's flapping movement could have been done a little smoother than the sudden jerking up in the air.
I loved the concept of holding the bird and it escaping from the hands every so often, added a whole new challenge to the game.
The collision detection felt a little off, like I was getting killed even though I felt I hadn't quite touched anything.
The big text at the start "Bring back the chick" got in the way of the environment to begin with, could have been better putting it up in the "sky" where there was more empty space where it wouldn't interfere.
@kjscott Thank's for the feedback !
Yeah my sprite management and collision detection are really bad, and I agree the chick movement is not good. That's one of the things I couldn't get right
At the time, I thought the text was cool, but yeah it's an awful design. I should have place it in a place with no environment !
That damned birdie always flew away in the worst time... Nice work, enjoyed it.
Haha, the chick likes to make it harder for you. Not a bad game for your first game at all. The physics were smooth, graphics very nice, sound adds a nice mood to the game. Overall nice and fun entry.
Cute bird always slipt me through my fingers ;-). Nice litte game with nice calm music.
Nice and a bit hard game, liked it!
good experience
Liked the fact birdie can fly away. Stupid chick! :joy:
You can hit the ceiling. Feels a bit off. Also, colliders on enemies and walls are a bit too big.
Still, good job for your first LD, and congrats on finishing it!
@seagull Thank's a lot ! Yeah, I need to work on my collision boxes.
Ha, that was silly fun. kinda hard, but quite enjoyable :)
i like it. man, that chick will not stay put! really well done fun game.
Nice idea and really good execution for a first game ever! I liked it, especially the chick floating away, it was original. The hitboxes seemed too big, it was frustrating at times. But yeah, good job!
Nicely done and great audio too. Tough getting killed a lot and restarting but it's that kinda game so I think it's okay here. Great work!
There was one issue - randomly losing a chick is frustrating) I think it should be more predictable, may be lose it on hit, and try to save like yoshi in mario. Or some sort of indicator when it will happen. But overall awesome game, music was very suiting!
@runuchok Thank's for the feedback ! You're definitly right, a tell for when the chick is about to fly away would be less fustrating.
Very nice first game, good luck for the futur. The graphics are beautiful;)
This is awesome to finish your first game on limited amount of time and to have this result !
I can confirm that the Mac version works. I had a lot of fun playing this game. It was pretty upsetting that there was no winning condition and your whole reward for saving that bird is a 'good job'. Still pretty good game tho.
@nikita-demidov thanks for playing ! What do you mean about " there was no winning condition" ?
Yeah I could have done a little more on the reward side.
@nicolas-diniz Well, I could be totally wrong but here goes nothing: Let's look at Minecraft. The ender-dragon is something like the 'bad guy'. But if you defeat him, you don't stop playing the game, because the game is about building, not the ender-dragon. Your game lets the Player still play after the chicken was saved. But in your game, saving the chicken IS the goal. What I'm trying to say is: Something like a "winning-screen" could be appropriate. Something which tells you that you won and lets you return to the title-screen/quit. It just would feel completer. You game is still amazing tho and it's one of my favourites!
@nikita-demidov Ok I see it now ! And I agree with you ! Since there is nothing else to do, there is no sense to keep the game running.
Thanks for the feedback !
Hey. I like the graphics. The music adds mood to the game. The level design is difficult.
Well made game!
I've had like 50 attempts and finally I gave up, really cute graphics, the enemy box colider seems to be a bit off because sometimes I was killed without touching anything.
@ovid and @nihushu thanks for the feedback !
Yeah the hitbox are way too big, something I will try to fix next time !
