Very clever mechanic with the jumping to the different spots.

Very clever mechanic with the jumping to the different spots.
Nice job, I really dig the core mechanic, although I feel like the theme is kind of forced here, you simply have to beat every level in a limited time, which is more of an excuse. I think this mechanic could be improved further to create some interesting puzzles. Good luck!
The visuals and audio were really nice, I like how each level has its own look, and it has a more transcendental feeling the deeper you go. It would be cool to have a bit more to it than just "oh I went the wrong way and ran out of time, guess I'll go the other way". It was cool overall though, I like the feel and sound of the movement when you jump between nodes. Good work!
Nice entry.
At first I got stuck at level 3, could not find the way to continue, until I realised that when you get hit by an enemy, it leaves an anchor point behind. Maybe that should be explained somewhere?
I liked it, especially the music chosen :)
Ok that was a nice game experience. I especially like the change on the sound fx on the last level, it's a really nice touch.
I can see a longuer game like this, with little puzzles (portals, gravity, etc.). Good job!
Nice intro! We were trying to do something similar but we didn't manage to finish it. Also the game seems to be very well polished!
A great game. Very cool. Good ideas for the movement mechanics. I want more level :p
Interesting concept, what I like is the jumping concept, and how it feel snappy, and responsive. What I think needs more polishing is animation in general and specially player animation.
Captain, great game :star: I really like your levels and graphics!
Very fun game and I especially like the movement mechanic and the art which has a psychedelic vibe.
@idan-rooze Thank you. You are right, I relly struggled with the theme.
@antaresvaldemar With more development time, there would be some more options than just "pathfinding".
@chocolat-endive Thank you. I also think, there is a lot potential. We'll see, what the future brings.
Really nice mood and art.
Good levels, beautiful song, good SFX, gorgeous graphics (I noticed that there are symbols in those "planets") Good work!
The gameplay is so satisfying for unknown reason! The SFX amplifies the feelings very well. I like the typewriter intro :-) great job!
@monninen Thank you very much. I'm happy, you noticed this. This stage symbolises the mind and I wanted to express how the synapsis form thoughts and wishes. And by going deeper, our protagonist overcomes them.
@weathfold For me, it also feels very satisfying. I plan to make a bigger project out of this idea.
Good visual!
Great fun. I couldn't stop playing it! Great work!
@ruling-spear Thanks a lot. I'm happy you had fun!
Really fun game, I liked the concept and thought the level design was really good. I got heavy "Psychonauts" vibes while playing this due to the story and the visuals. Great job!
Visuals: I adore background in part 1, rest of backgrounds are great too, enemies worked well, planets where fine as well Audio: Works really well, simple and does the job. Gameplay: Main mechanic is nice but after playing it for some time ( finishing 1st part ) it didnt had anything more to offer for me. Level design felt just like random planets placed around. There was no moments of challenge ( only backtracking ) nor moments of discovery new things that we can do with it. So main mechanic definitely felt not explored enough which we can see both in obstacles and level design. BUT it is good mechanic! try to experiment with it after the jam, like adding diffrent obstacles, think about making some big jumps or think how it can change behaviour of the palents, etc. etc. Overall nice entry. Have a nice day : D
@demuss Thank you for your feedback. I know, the gameplay becomes a bit repetitive because it's very simple / basic. I already started working on game with this core mechanic but some more depth.
Simple yet beautiful and evocative visuals. Unique and easy-to-learn gameplay with great levels to showcase them. Audio was really good at setting the mood too. Really lovely experience overall! Well done!
Ending made me laugh too!
You should be really proud of this one.
@jam373 Thank you for your really nice feedback.
I liked this more the longer I played it for. It somehow manages to be both relaxing and frustrating. I wish I'd played it first with a mouse rather than my tracker pad, and definitely plan to try it again that way. With how long some of the levels last, it might be nice if the music varied a little more. Also, the gameplay is much more enjoyable than the intro, which could be shorter. The gameplay really drew me in. I like the simplicity of the idea, and subtle design choices like only being able to use each node once, led to more strategic thinking when finding the correct route. It might be nice if there was more of a clue where to go. I found some levels frustrating due to heading in the wrong direction. Overall, a really nice jam game. Well done!
