The implementation of the theme as time is a bit frustrating, waiting for buff .... it does not really go with the game genre, otherwise it's done well, but quite difficult!

its wait2win... but without microtransactions to speed things up this part i didnt like. Pixel art is perfect. General feel of game is ok. But this wait for reload? eh...

Great game! The actions are fluid and combat is fun. Nice pixel-art. To me it is a mix between a twin-stick shooter and a incremental game while waiting for upgrades. Maybe your gun fire too quickly . Good job!

@pepnou i've tried to make really slow powerful guns at first (you can see grenade launcher), but we didn't have enough time to make enemies, that you'd prefer to kill with that kind of weapon. it's just more fun to shoot fast when you have weak enemies against you)

Nice idea it made me laught when I understood that "pay with your life" was literal. However it does not really help the rest of the gameplay, which is quite difficult. The music is cool, but covered by too much bullet sound.

It is a bit frustrating, but I feel like that is exactly what makes it work. A really cool twist on the theme, and a well done implementation.

@marcenat oh we are superhappy that finally someone understood our concept of paying with real life and enjoyed it! And thanks for noticing some sound weaknesses, we'll fix it. And, for sure, we'll try to make the gameplay more balanced

Hey!

Pros: - Pay with your own time/life idea, really cool. - Animations of the hero. - Audio really sets the mood!

Cons: - Level graphics: The walls and the floor look the same, I went to a wall several times because they look the same. - Sometimes the prices are way too high. During the fights you have to focus very strongly, and a 30 sec wait makes the player loose the "flow", but I understand it's the part of the original idea.

Overall: I think the idea is really unique and the game is well implemented! Congrats!

@cpx3 thanks for your review and for all good words! We see what you mean about the second con, you right, this is a bit tricky, probably we will figure out how to balance it. And about walls, gosh, we hoped nobody will notice it :D so thanks, now we see we definitely need to fix this

At first, I didn't understand what the timer was for when buying stuff, but I figured it out pretty quickly. Paying with your "actual life" by having to wait is actually a pretty neat idea.

Good entry with nice graphics!

there's a lack of ambience sound to give some clues of the place your avatar is, some footsteps to add weight and presence to the character, reinforce the feedback of your shoots and damage taken because they are limited a lot
